How To CREATE & UPLOAD Your First Notebook to Sell on Amazon KDP [Step By Step Tutorial]

How to create and upload your very first notebook to sell here into Kendall

In this step-by-step tutorial, I'm going to be showing you how we can do this. Welcome to TechPras. My name is Stephen, and I'm going to be showing you how we can get started with the Kendall direct publishing

I'm going to be showing you how we can create an account, how we can set up your account. I'm going to be showing you how to design your very first notebook using a free application

And then I'm going to be showing you how we can sell this inside Kendall totally for free

So with that being said, let's just get started. As you can see we're here into the KDP.amazon.com

What you want to do is to have an Amazon account. If you don't have an Amazon account, you don't have to worry about that

We can just have that to if you free here into the Kendall Direct Publishing

So once you have the option already enabled, what you want to do is to hit it to sign in

So here, in my case, it tucked my Amazon account so I can just get started here into the Kendall Direct Publishing

If you don't see this, you might be seeing that it's going to be appearing something like your account

So you might be seeing like here this blog because it's my personal information, but you want to type like what is your business type, the date of your boot, the country, region, legal name, and much more information

Now if you scroll a little bit down, it's going to be showing you like how you're going to be getting paid

So what you want to do is to add a banked account using some payment details into the actual currency that your country enables

With that being said, now we're going to be able to start to end the money into Kendall Direct Publishing

If I go back here and I tap into Sighten, I am now going to be able to get started

As you can see here into my bookshelf, we have only two titles that we can start to sell

One, it says life, and the other one says in review. Up to 72 hours till Amazon approves our actual Kendall ebook or wherever you're publishing here into your bookshelf

It going to be looking like this If I go into promote and advertise it going to be helping me to view this into Amazon For example here I going to type into my Amazon of the currency in Currency I really living And as you can see this is the addition that I have just created And it going to be looking totally for free So as you can see guys it actually looking really great and I going to be showing you how we can do this from scratch This is an actual journal but we going to be making a notebook

totally editable inside the handle. So once you have everything here already been enabled

I'm going to leave this like that and I'm going to open a new tab into Canva.com. Inside

Canva, what you want to do is to have an account where we can design, stuff truly for free. So once we're here into combat, I'm going to go into create a

this site. And here, what I want to do is to look out for the custom size. It's going to be asking

us for the width and the height and interest. So what I want to do just to make sure that Kendall

can approved my actual custom size, I want to go back into Amazon Kendall. I want to choose the option

that says create a book down in here. And this one's going to be sending us into the create a book

section where I can type the actual formatting. I'm going to screw a little bit down and look out

for the actual ebook formatting, which is actually this option. So usually this one of thedess

Kindle Direct publishing allows up to the 6x9 inches. So that's the reason why I input this actual

element. But if you want to sell something beyond ebook, let's say like a hot book or like a printable

stuff you want to check it out what are the actual requirements to sell your stuff so in my case

i'm going to stick around with six by nine create a new design and it's going to be popping up this

new section of camba or we can start to actually create our stuff now what exactly is a notebook for you

now a notebook is like a place where we can start to edit all our elements to draw to add some text to

customize whatever you want to so um without being said even if you don't know how to get started what i can go is to

Look out for the design here in the left part. Look out for the search templates

And let's go for notebook. Here into notebook papers, I'm going to be showing us a lot of stuff like a cover, like the paper, and much more

So what I want to do is to use a template so I can get inspired and create my own For example I have this one I can just delete if I don want to see this anymore

And let's say that I'm interested into something much more like this

So as you can see, we have the Cat Illustration notebook. So what I can do is to apply all the three pages

And this house going to be looking at my design. I have the page number one. Here's my page number two

And this is my page number three. I want to do is to copy this element and paste that

So I want to have more than just four pages. Let's say that I have eight pages now

I have more and there you go. So let's say that I want to fill this like if I had like a hundred pages

So the people who buy this product can just edit more and more elements as they're actually

working in here. So now that you have already created your design, what you want to do, I'm going to make this

a little bit more smaller. So you can check it out how it's gonna be looking

all our elements. And then what I wanted to make sure is that everything looks correctly here

So there's two stuff that we need to download in order to start making this happen

So first of all, let's go into download. Let's focus into the file typed

I want to choose from PNG, let's type PDF standard. And here into selected pages

do you want to choose everything but your hardcover, which this one is an accurate

image that we need to export from another format. So let's go for page number one so we can export everything but our hardcover

Let's go for Don, hitting to download out, and there we go

So lastly what I want to do is to export this file once again

but since we have already export all the content, now we want to export only the actual hardcover

So this file name is going to be content, and the other one, instead of going into down

into download and choosing all the elements let's go and choose all the pages on select everything

and just select the first page hit into don and instead of choosing PDF file let's go for

gpg file best for sharing going to hit into download out now that everything is going to be successfully added And now let go back into the KDP of Amazon I going to hit once again into create a book down in here

And here what I want to do is to go into Kindle eBook. You can want to choose an ebook, a paper bagged, or a hardcover that totally depends on you

And here I want to import all my elements. I want to import the language as well as the book title, the series, the edition number

the author, contributors, description, and all of all. the elements that contains your KDP content. After that, you're going to go into saved and

continue. So here I want to upload my manuscript. So here what I want to do is to look out for

the one that says content. As you can see, here is my journal, the content. Let's go for open

And here I want to go into continue with my PDF file. And now down in here we have the Kendall

ebook cover. What you can do is to upload a cover that you have already had, or to choose the cover

creator that was generated for the KDP of Amazon. So instead of launching the cover creator, let's go for upload a cover we already have

After you have successfully imported all of that, you want to launch the previewer just to see

how it's going to be looking your product. After that, you want to go into saved and continue to set up the actual prices

And lastly, if you go back into create and manage and publish, here into your bookshelf

it's going to be appearing your actual stuff. and as you can see it might be appearing as in review

So this one is we have submitted our publishing and sometimes you need a way till the review times

has been approved our product. But this is how we can get started using the KDP Amazon.com

and here is going to be appearing at our bookshelf and you can go into your reporting section

to see how your product are looking into Amazon KDP. With that being said, guys

is how we can get started with the KDP. What is left to be done is to promote all your stuff

and just tell your friends, your family, and everyone that you have just uploaded your first ebook
