Wildfire burning in New Jersey

We're following some breaking news right now. This is a live look at an out-of-control wildfire in southern New Jersey

This is near the Jersey Shore. The fast-moving flames forcing evacuations in closing parts of the Garden State Parkway

The Jones Road wildfire sparked earlier today in the Greenwood Forest Wildlife Management Area

This is right near Barnegat Township in Ocean City. So far, it has consumed 1,200 acres

Now to the push by House Republicans to prosecute former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for allegedly lying about nursing home deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic

And the House subcommittee making their appeal to Attorney General Pam Bondi. Fox News' Morgan McKay joins us now with the very latest details on this. Morgan

Yeah, Bianca and Natasha, former Governor Andrew Cuomo was leading the mayor's race by double digits

But now some are saying he's in the same position that Mayor Eric Adams was with the Trump administration

The House Oversight Committee has resent a criminal referral to the new Attorney General Pam Bondi

saying that Cuomo lied to Congress three times about his efforts to undercount COVID nursing home deaths Chairman of the House Oversight Committee James Comer said in part Andrew Cuomo is a man with a history of corruption and deceit This wasn a slip up It was a

calculated cover up by a man seeking to shield himself from responsibility for the devastating

loss of life in New York's nursing homes. Now, this all started on March 25th, 2020. Cuomo issued

an executive order that forced nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients back into their

facilities. Cuomo later revoked this order on May 10th, but by then he was already facing fierce

backlash. So in July of 2020, the state health department issued a report clearing Cuomo of

blame. This report not only continued to undercount the number of COVID-related nursing

home deaths by more than 50 percent, it also blamed nursing home staff for bringing in the

virus. Fast forward to last summer, Cuomo testified in front of the House committee that he did not

have any role in writing this July 2020 report. However, the committee alleges that not only was

Cuomo involved he helped write the report as shown in notes that have been verified as his handwriting A spokesman for Cuomo issued a statement saying quote this is nothing more than a meritless press release that was nonsense last year and is even

more so now. As the DOJ constantly reminds people, this kind of transparent attempt at election

interference and lawfare violates their own policies. But Bill Hammond with the Empire

Center, who's been following this issue closely since the start of the pandemic, disagrees

It was pretty well understood that he had been involved in editing that report

He certainly was aware that it was being produced and had a hand in it

The governor's really dug in on his denials of any wrongdoing in connection with his nursing home policies

Now, Cuomo's spokesperson says there also have been referrals made against Planned Parenthood, Hillary Clinton and Anthony Fauci

New charges have been filed at this time. Bianca, Natasha. All right, Morgan, thank you for that. Well, three more federal prosecutors who were involved

in the corruption case against Mayor Adams have resigned. They were placed on leave after refusing

to follow orders to drop the case against Adams. And now in the letter to Deputy Attorney General

Todd Blanche the group wrote that they felt pressured into admitting wrongdoing to get their jobs back Adams was indicted last year but his case was dismissed by a judge earlier this month A solemn ceremony today for NYPD detective Jonathan Diller

A memorial plaque was unveiled at the 116th Precinct in Rosedale, Queens

Diller was shot and killed during a traffic stop last year, but despite being wounded, he helped try to disarm the suspect to protect the rest of his team

Today, his widow spoke at the dedication. And I hope when you see all these beautiful memorials of him that you remember that camaraderie

You remember to support each other, to make each other laugh, to have each other's backs, you know, make work enjoyable

And the Manhattan DA announced today a 40-count indictment against talent agency KMR and its president, Mark Measures

The group is accused of stealing $1.8 million in wages from 160 actors and thousands of dollars from employees at the agency

The majority of the alleged theft involved residual payments, which can be difficult for actors to monitor

But the DA says measures diverted these funds to pay for business and personal expenses
