you can ask them anything like what's their favorite cheese were they the first man on the moon we don't know maybe they were how did Alesia actually
1:42
die as a Rohan Warrior I mean that was obviously you never heard that story which was great for him and great for us
1:48
to watch we also have many other benefits such as discords um feedback
1:54

3:04
drinking so and he know and he's very and to be fair he puts the effort in on Twitch as well doesn't he he does he
3:09
thought why why should he have all the fun he decided to bring us a bottle of
3:14
whiskey 15 years 15 years but that's not all I'm just going to be my mic slightly
3:20
away so I can lean forward and get more gifts in my bag oh God another friend of the channel uh a man called Simon who I
3:26
went to Griffon I met him there and didn't realize that he was part of the
3:32
bit's uh reenactment group I thought I recognized I was like do I recognize you from like Workshop or whatever then
3:37
introduced himself and we got chatting he he loves sharp and he knows we like sharp and he was saying I I have
3:43
something you might like and I was like oh okay what's this he's like oh gosh I do you remember the episode you might
3:49
not have got to it yet there's an episode called Sharp's regiment right and goes back to the UK yeah during the
3:54
Industrial Revolution and they're in a pub and then there's a um a recruitment
4:00
Sergeant there and he's obviously giving the king Shilling out buying lots of drinks well in said Pub sha bean and
4:07
Patrick Harper are drinking from these exact mugs wow these exact mugs wow and
4:13
we have three and I'm just thinking we've got a
4:19
15year old whiskey here and we have men with chosen mug chosen men I didn't you
4:24
uh would you like a little teeny tiny tiple to yeah I mean why you talking car
4:30
I can just uh to obviously we're all driving so we have to be very have to be a smid of a I will do a smidgen don't
4:38

4:50
thank you Michael for the 15year old single malt oh let's have a bit of a read what
4:55
what does it say what are the tasting notes well we' got this woman spicy single is matured for 15 years in Bourbon New Oak and Sherry casks before
5:04
harmonizing in our unique cero vat oh yeah if it's not harmonized I won't drink
5:11
it uh I like my whiskey like I like my music harmonized harmonized it doesn't have any other
5:19
information other than just like where it's come from where did it go where did it come from C and I Joe no it's got
5:25
nothing else no no tasting notes who cares we're just going to down it
5:30
uh yeah so I'm going to pour this okay so um whilst you're pouring that um um
5:37
yeah I I thought maybe um you know just talk about something that happened recently uh you know no one no one is
5:44
annoyed at Games Workshop no whoever is why would anybody ever be no one okay
5:50
but this time it's it's oh thank you very much sir someone is annoyed um
5:56
no no but it's it's not about model is it about a full car
6:02
park no no no how many more guesses do we get okay well everyone everyone knows
6:08
what well nothing needs fixing nothing needs fixing everything's fine you know one of the things I've Loved for years
6:15
with them is how easy it it's been to buy anything yes it's always been perfectly easy so much and of all the
6:21
things I've ever had problems with Games Workshop one of the things I've always thought was really good was how easy it was to buy models yes cheers everyone so
6:29
cheers Che new dig thank you to our patrons for all the support you've shown as well yeah yes I'm going to look right
6:36
in the camera chy you're better than everybody
6:41
oh that's clean me straight away I think that that's another thing um you know I don't care if it's a Shameless plug
6:47
about our Patron but everyone that's on our Patron is awesome because obviously we said this last time when we had the
6:53
painting coach your Vibe attracts your tribe right how how many knob EDS have we had
6:58
like Norm none n zero noeds they've just been awesome so thank you to and even
7:04
those that have like you know some people have cancelled and said you know I'm really sorry I can't afford I don't yeah don't worry about it you don't have
7:11
to F you don't have to apologize for not always supporting us all the time that's fine um just appreciate you know
7:17
watching the videos and just being part of the the clan I think now in the new digs is a
7:22
good time as any to remind them you know we literally would not be here without them exactly absolutely right thank you
7:28
very much and um The W that was delicious I mean it's better I'm drinking from Sharps mug yeah so uh I
7:36
need to you have a sip and then go what like bastard
7:44
bastard it's got two already it's got two already yeah God you know I've had
7:49
two mouthfuls and already I want to punch a red coat in the face should got a bunch of blue coat in the face I come
7:55
on man yeah but they all fight amongst themselves they wear green yeah yeah yeah yes fa a red coat officer maybe
8:03
right I want to punch a Cavalry officer in the B I I want to find Daniel Craig
8:09
and punch him yeah what's up bero
8:15
boy they're not even old they're like in the 20s yeah yeah oh it's so funny it's
8:20
so funny I'm just going to say nurse this for a bit absolutely yeah I mean that that it goes down easy yeah that's
8:26
that's a delight smooth very smooth yeah okay so yes um go on tell us about how
8:32
they've not done that wrong great news Warhammer decom is live shop for
8:39
the entire range of Warhammer Miniatures in one place but that already exist doesn't it pat check out our new store
8:45
now oh wow that sounds promising first what could go wrong okay I'm going to do
8:51
a dramatic reading of the that was a Facebook post on uh Warhammer 40K uh and
8:57
this was the top rated comment absolutely
9:03
not I went in to have a browse tonight and got met with this new age
9:10
monstrosity just because something is old doesn't mean it needs to be modernized the old website was so much
9:17
easier to navigate and locate stuff and was heaps more user friendly um and I've
9:23
taken so many screenshots uh because I was in stitches reading all of these but
9:28
you know what they're all absolutely right yeah yeah I mean I didn't know
9:34
this had happened until I saw a couple of posts on Twitter yeah then you started talking about it last week yeah
9:40
um and I was like what do you mean it's a new website oh so the the current one exists and they got another one what's
9:46
that for it's like no no no the website is now this is now the website like but why it's not and then you you showed on
9:51
your computers like the c c the servo school when you go to look at like the pictures and stuff yeah and I I want I
9:58
like looking through cuz I looking at the models usually when I'm doing paint guides and thinking about like colors I like to look at the models do the 360s
10:03
no 360s at the moment which is really frustrating you get the servo skills instead yeah yeah but then it crashes so
10:10
then you can't continue looking so you have to go back and then scroll but then you've lost your place yeah so it it
10:18
from my point of view it's like just because you can upgrade something doesn't mean you should because there's nothing wrong with the website it it I
10:26
know I'm not going to go into Workshop p but it does stink of Workshop managers
10:31
getting a new job going I know what needs fixing the thing that doesn't need fixing let's go and fixing basically you
10:37
mean trying to justify their existence going oh look I stand up look what I did
10:43
this reminds me when I was in retail we used to get Squad leaders coming all the time so you'd have we were in we're in a training store a veteran Sergeant store
10:49
which would train new managers and every time a new manager would come in as a trainee it was the same thing every time which is like everything you're doing is
10:55
wrong I'm going to show you how to fix it and then they come in you like oh here we go again the way we stack our shelves is wrong the way we clean the
11:02
shelves is wrong this guy's coming who's like 2 months older than me or two months younger than me he's going to
11:07
show me how to clean a shelf yeah and usually it pans out it's a rubbish idea the shelves were fine the way we clean
11:13
them before but it's because they knew they want to like show their their leadership skills and it kind of feels like maybe this might be the case here
11:20
it's like someone's come in and gone I know how to run Internet on how to make the website better yes um so I I yeah I
11:29
want to play Devil's Advocate from for that's here we should always Devil's Advocate yeah and um I was explaining to
11:36
someone I was like you know they've brought everything under one umbrella like one thing I realized from my time
11:41
at Workshop was that everything was very separate um and that leaked through to
11:47
the websites cuz you had the the shops are Warhammer branded
11:53
now aren't they yeah they used to be back in the day it's because most
11:58
people walk past and go oh the Warhammer shop yeah yeah and like and then you know that's become the brand it's like
12:03
Warhammer makes sense yes that yeah that's it so the shops have been branded as Warhammer um but you had to go to
12:09
Games Workshop to buy your models but then there was also a separate website
12:14
called Forge World yeah um and then there was my Warhammer and then there was Warhammer community and then there's
12:20
Warhammer plus and that's five don't forget what the micro sites oh do you not know what the micro
12:26
sites are no on the dark web no that's what Mrs Peach calls my
12:33
private parts mic she doesn't I'm joking Mrs oh God
12:39
I'm just clinking my bottle you want to drink a whiskey P you we have a dog we have a
12:45
dog I am on no she just sff in the bag like what's in your bag is any balls in the bag um no so got if I walk around
12:52
enough of them one of them will have a biscuit oh am I now to just scratch your belly is that is that my job you are um
12:59
yeah the micro sites are things like the age of Sigma site the NEC site War
13:05
40,000 there's a lot that that sometimes are linked to the website but most of the time they tend to be um their own
13:12
little thing that so when like AG of Sigma launched they have a micro site that would have all the information about all the races and this that and
13:18
there all so there's a lot out there yes so I yeah I feel like from all of the websites it was like you know not a
13:25
steep learning curve but it is a learning curve when you're like oh you get all your Warhammer models here um
13:32
but then you can also get them from this other website but they're resin um and
13:37
they might not explicitly say that they say they're expert or you know say they're 15 plus or something um so
13:44
bringing it all Under One Roof yeah oh I like that it's like you were doing a power
13:50
ball like um Somebody went we need to Galvanize the websites oh that sounds
13:57
like a manager buzz word right there yeah yeah get your Blue Sky Thinking and um
14:04
Galvanize flutters that's an amazing one I've
14:10
never read that before that's and and then the manager goes I like that speak I'm I'm currently half masted um but no
14:17
one used the term coperate which I got a manager saying sorry Gabriel we need to we need to copylight on these ideas um
14:25
yeah so bringing it all Under One Roof uh in in you know on paper makes it an
14:32
easier experience for people to use uh but I feel like it's definitely been
14:38
fumbled um that website is appalling yeah um see I've got to be honest you
14:44
know the way Games Workshop has like gaming licenses yes I thought that's what it was I thought it was like a new
14:50
game they brought out where you go in it and try and see if you can buy box of ters over a weekend like a sort of role playing game
14:58
it's pretty pretty so when when you first go on you got all that cool visuals and stuff like but then it just gets a bit sort of like where where's
15:05
the shop oh it's at the top okay that's it's like we want to show you everything we sell all at once yeah cuz don't get
15:13
me wrong there is things are times where you go well you know Horus Harris you
15:18
know because generally it's always been if Forge World sell it it lives in Forge World and that's the only place but you
15:24
can go in and buy Horus heresy off the shelf and it's bit like and I was a bit
15:30
like when Horus har came out where going where does that live so the idea that it's all bit more all sitting amongst
15:36
next to each other is is a good a good shout but just you went in and just went oh this just do you know the only thing
15:43
I really got from it was I thought it's really good for the local gaming stores like the likes of our friend Byron who's
15:49
got El games and go know you're in there five minutes and go oh Jesus Christ screw that and go I'll go to element
15:55
instead or you know yeah just pushes out or go to Wayland or somewhere just you
16:01
know just people do you think wonder whether they've just got an increase in sales just based on apathy yeah yeah I mean I'm trying to
16:08
put my old sort of like Workshop manager head on trying to think there must be a reason for the for the change there has to be a reason and it could be like like
16:16
cyber security it could be like there's loads of things that I know nothing about cyber security so this is just
16:22
like me putting ideas out there like is there something wrong with the existing website that's failing o i I think I
16:28
think I'd heard um the existing one I think I'd heard bits of this where um
16:35
the on Face Value the old website was functional yeah um but if it was really
16:41
busy you had to do all the cues and apparently it it being tied into the
16:47
back end um yeah wasn't you been disappointed i' been
16:53
disappointed if you hadn't made that noise then when you just for the view I've not put that much in here just just to be clear it just just warms my soul
17:03
feels like Christmas it really does yeah yeah so um with the the the website and
17:09
the ordering um and the factories and they've developed the factories and there's lots of robots now and that had
17:14
issues and then apparently the website is is supposedly more tied into all of
17:21
that so it should be more of like a seamless thing so hopefully that's better um but the the end user
17:27
experience is face Huger be on camera more D yeah drama
17:35
queen time for my closeup um yeah the but the end user experience is is is not
17:42
great is it I think you because you go on the the front page of the website and it seems like it's very much geared up
17:47
to like to to new people it's like what is Warhammer and it's like oh I'll learn about it and then maybe I'll shop or
17:54
something like I I think of that um like like when when Tom was here and he said
18:00
you know like the mold line remover like we've we've poked fun at that before but he's like I no that was I was really
18:06
proud of that because a kid could go in and buy it yeah and still do the job it needs to do and it still does the job it
18:12
needs to do so I'm part of me is like the website's not built for me yeah uh
18:18
and maybe you know that's that that take but taking trying to take that out of the equation like the 360s have gone
18:24
apparently people's vouchers have disappeared you can't track your orders it's really hard to search for Stuff um
18:30
and yeah I'm going to check in my sort of tin4 hats opinion I know my
18:37
opinions are worthless I've heard this a few times I should not have an opinion but that's that I I don't care boo your
18:43
opinion how dare I have a voice I should just stick to painting and maybe not even do that because apparently that's
18:49
awful too maybe I'll just SC but other than that you're a worthwhile member of the
18:54
team apparently um people follow us for a reason I don't think it's me um so yeah Tim for
19:03
hat I'm I'm in the I'm thinking right the inter I've lost my my train now
19:09
because I got I got you just went on a self-deprecating rampage I was like oh
19:14
down a very dark you come back out myself um okay Tim foil Tim hat so
19:21
you've got someone that's come along they've said we're going to change the the the website I personally don't think
19:27
it needed change and there's nothing wrong with it but potentially there's interface issues um there might be
19:34
security issues the the Q system thing could be an issue um I think and this
19:40
has happened so many times at Workshop is they they make apps for like you know like the varen Spire War scroll uh
19:49
create app to make you War band they do like The Kill team apps they do that but they're never finished the Citadel color
19:54
app not really finished always full of flaws um game systems come out full of
20:00
flaws what they've done oh yeah so that was another website sit all Coler sorry yeah so this is a trend that I've seen
20:06
with Workshop all the years I've been there is as opposed to just waiting until it's definitely workable and and
20:12
not perfect nothing can be perfect right yeah there's always going to be flaws there's all going to be something that no one's equated for or whatever but for
20:17
the most part 90% of it is fine then you release it yeah it feels like they just
20:23
went oh we're getting shouted at by the bosses just get it out just get it out and get it out now we can patch it later
20:29
it's like computer games com feels like PC gam it you end up feeling like you're the the buying it feels like you're the
20:36
beta tester when you go well it shouldn't be but this is the thing it's like you if there was no website it
20:41
makes sense right to get something out there there was a website and it was fine maybe queuing was an issue just get
20:48
it right before you do it yeah yeah just keep running it in the background while you figure it out yeah it and having
20:54
like tests and like getting a group of people yeah I mean again you know I'm just projecting it's weird cuz some
21:00
things I've got better cuz I um when I ordered the two uh Warhammer plus u Miniatures this year it felt much which
21:08
I still need to do mine a converion in mine oh yeah I've not forgotten um oh yeah model they felt much easier to do
21:14
than it did last year okay yeah so that worked and as some and I'll say it right
21:20
now I Blum and love the 40K Army Builder yeah I think it's really good J wrong I
21:26
think it's helped them in the fact that now it's just two it's just two points
21:31
units for you know yeah if you're taking five or you're taking 10 and in know having to include prices of melted guns
21:37
and seven men instead of five or 10 men you know so I think the maths has got easier for it so I I I I accept that the
21:45
the apps working better CU it's not doing as much but it's still good though it's still really good and I just think
21:53
you started to sort of edge towards doing a really good job on the computer and then you release this and go you
21:59
know what we've been doing really well let's just kick that down and throw throw a rock through its window you know
22:05
what I mean yes yeah I mean I've played around with it after hearing all the noise and stuff and the bare minimum I
22:10
want to do is be able to find the product after look at some pretty pictures yeah and go oh I like that yeah
22:15
but I can't look at all the pretty pictures CU it keeps crashing yeah and the annoying thing is when you like click on one thing go oh I might add
22:21
that to cart and think about it and then that just constantly follows you it's like are you sure you want this you know you get the bar the bar gets in the way
22:28
of everything and apparently if you're on mobile that's even worse oh really because it takes up more real estate
22:35
already small screen on the smaller screen so you're like just go away just go away and you can't get rid of it and
22:41
the way they're selecting pitches you have to keep going like clicking down and they're like slightly bigger than
22:47
the screen like the the formatting of it really isn't very good um uh but yeah it
22:54
it's it's fascinating um but yeah so I I I was screenshotting lots of comments cuz they were making me giggle uh but
23:01
and and and people generally kind of um like I didn't see I don't think I saw one positive comment um I I I've seen
23:08
some really negative comments from very positive people well that's always a bad sign is it and I'm not going to I'm not
23:14
going to L names but there's someone that I'm very fond of that they are a great member of the community um and
23:21
they weren't impressed and I'm like that says that says a lot cuz you're normally quite positive about most things
23:28
Workshop which is you know I'm positive about Workshop some people disagree because I have opinions that doesn't always align with their opinions which
23:34
is fine um but I've worked there 20 years I've seen all the weird stuff that happens in the background and can make
23:39
those those comments because I'm allowed to um but yeah when you see it from someone that you're just like you're super positive about everything and now
23:45
you really hate this I was surprised um that's why I wanted to play with it go
23:50
yeah that's it so we've got here uh again you know some more dramatic readings um maybe not so please please
23:59
I we'll lubricate you a more 15y old Glen fidic that it's so good it was oh
24:07
it's even better I think it added into a sharp mug yeah I feel like yeah I should like just go March after over the hills
24:14
and far away now yes I Beast that way is it yeah yeah somebody
24:22
fetched me my musky um yeah I think you'll find it's a brown best but yeah
24:28
yeah yeah no I'm I'm the um I'm the guy in the rocket troop um oh and the only
24:36
good thing I can do is pretend that I'm Cavalry to to make all the French squish
24:42
together they still I mean that's you've obviously seen Sharps uh which one's that one oh no is that shars company
24:49
shars enemy yeah company maybe cuz he has his little Squad that's a good
24:54
episode that it was it was good yeah yeah um and there's the uh the evil
24:59
Frenchman you know he's evil cuz he's got little round glass interesting fact sorry we're moving away slightly cuz
25:04
we're sidetracking that's what we do that's it British Cavalry had heavy Cavalry light Cavalry for a long time uh
25:11
French obviously had heavy Cav heavy Cavalry things like um some of the Dragons you get heavy drons the French
25:17
had like casses which had the breastplate so the lifeguards counted this heavy Cav I think it's because they bigger horses and they're chunkier men
25:23
light Cav tend to be like light drons and like H the British didn't have Lancers until uh the Crimean War wow
25:30
which was like 1850 is a lance 1854 someone on a horse with a big stick with a lance yeah yeah so I think they they
25:37
got that idea from the French after the ne Wars but yeah lances wasn't a thing because in that they're they're like lances so all the French offic like
25:44
they've got lances like the British never had lances um until like later on like the 50s 50s because of Shar because
25:51
of Shar made Lancers we've all seen the documentary
25:57
yeah um I mean someone in the comments like actually I think you'll find it was 1937 was RK yeah that's fine yeah 1837
26:05
not well in in your opinion it was uh yeah I I remember I think it was Dave was saying because he's really big into
26:11
his crime and War stuff he was like oh no yeah lances weren't the thing until then I was like oh didn't know that
26:17
fascinating anyway anyway give us a dramatic reading Pat um
26:22
yeah some of these might not have been written in anger but um you know it's Facebook so yeah
26:28
uh this is how I read uh all comments on the internet I don't think this new site has been tested properly it's terrible
26:35
trying to find things now uh sorry I put like a weird pause in there um GW never
26:41
in my life have I wanted to see only the first 12 of
26:47
anything please add a show all I legit want to see all 221 Space Marine items I
26:55
mean that's fair I mean that's what I do yeah yeah yeah yeah 100% um will there be the inclusion of what paints are
27:01
recommended for models that was one of my favorite things of the old site and as a beginner it was always
27:08
helpful to go back and plan not really happy with the site very clearly designed for those new to the
27:16
Hobby brand which is fine but now it is harder to get what I want because there is so much new player stuff cluttering
27:23
the site I love this voice this voice listen to all day this one's great this
27:30
one's wonderful I'm sorry GW swinging a
27:37
Miss for me uh oh well I like I like sassy P sassy P's great P yeah I don't
27:44
know whe I don't know whether I like dramatic Pat or sassy Pat yeah yeah yeah should just keep pouring more whiskey
27:49
get about another 7 characters in them if you keep pouring them enough whiskey I I had half a crumpet for breakfast
27:56
this morning so that's that that's gone straight you had breakfast oh my God into it yeah yeah so sorry GW but a
28:03
swing in a Miss from me I really preferred the old one it was a lot easier to navigate and find things
28:09
especially when switching between game systems and settings again I agree with all these people but um yeah uh when are
28:16
you releasing Warhammer the old website with a square Mouse pointer that's genius that's
28:26
genius that'll come out when the O whe comes out I think yeah yeah um yeah so a bunch
28:34
a bunch of comments about confusing to navigate uh kind of hoping there'd be a restock associated with the update too
28:41
much clutter it's confusing and I want the rotatable pictures back they were super helpful that the 360s are really
28:48
good that's been a staple of the website so like one of that's one of the reasons I go on it the cost of getting the the
28:55
360 in was a lot of money cuz I was was there when they got the 360 in proper machine yeah there was a lot of money it
29:00
was uh from a a company called spin me um and they came in and set it all up
29:06
and tagline right round baby right round see I was going to say that was name mik sax tape but but the time
29:12
invest oh oh I mean you should have heard what Jeff was saying before we went
29:18
live I can't I can't remember let's not repeat it no no it's not um but yeah so they got this company into to set the
29:25
360 they spent a lot of money of like a photographer's time doing all the 360
29:30
it's someone's job to do the 360 isn't it and it was at at first very time
29:36
intensive but really well worth it and certainly from like like my point of view when I was doing paint guides for
29:41
the warmer TV for customers that want to see a product and like see what the back
29:47
of it looks like because most product you only see the front sometimes you get the odd little box out with like a bit
29:52
of a cloak or a bit of an item so being able to see the whole model and sometimes the top of the model
29:58
yes go over it that's mad um so not having those included on launch
30:05
is stupid do you think they'll come back oh they they should do I think it's like
30:10
they wanted to launch this is what it feels like it needed to be launched by a certain point because someone was nagging from up high needs to be on here
30:17
someone's gone yes we'll make that happen realize they can't make that happen so just do it anyway regardless
30:23
of cuz I've been there for 20 plus years that happens every time yes someone
30:28
commits and goes yeah we can do that and then realize like I don't know what I'm doing can someone help me and everyone's like why did you say yes all the staff
30:34
are like why did you say yes to that that is not possible in that time frame sounds like War it sounds like Warhammer TV you know what it does remind me of is
30:41
the Lego website oh so the Lego website's pretty good but when you start
30:47
go to like exclusives or new you go to new yeah so Workshop you go to load more
30:53
um or you can view all can't you with Workshop if you click view all for um Lego it still only does a few it doesn't
30:59
do all of them when you scroll down and you click on the the the the Lego kit you want to look at when you go back it
31:05
goes right to the start again um which is really frustrating oh my God how can
31:11
you do that wrong when you're now the biggest toy manufacturer in the world I know I wonder if they hired the same guy
31:17
or girl yeah the same the same team was on his CV going well I did the
31:22
Lego website hi him I say guy cuz uh ladies aren't that stupid
31:28
no generally not no yeah they're far more logical I think they somebody will have gone uh does it work and they went
31:36
technically yes okay launch it you used to wear yes that'll do I heard yes I heard what I wanted to hear yeah oh
31:42
someone else said yeah their wish list is gone uh oh no way yeah 48 items on my
31:49
wish list would be nice if I could get that list um yeah somebody's someone's probably have to get regular things for
31:54
the wedding now instead yeah oh I'd love that I'd love that here's
32:01
our wish list on the on Games Workshop uh I would like a warlord Titan please
32:06
um yeah so we're not using the John Lewis one for this wedding love oh no no
32:11
no no well I mean if they're both obvious is actually great right yeah yeah that would that would be it saves
32:16
on the wedding Toppers as well you just get like some some yeah yeah absolutely
32:22
um so yes uh somebody somebody said I don't like this at all also I'm missing 100 in vouchers that were linked to my
32:28
account and then the Warhammer response was oops it looks like some nurglings
32:34
have found their way into Warhammer decom do you know I do you know it's one of the things I hate with Games Workshop
32:40
is this thing of I understand we play a fantasy and a science fiction fantasy
32:47
game I get it but can when we buying things or doing stuff that is real world
32:54
stuff can I be treated actually like a yeah do you know you know when I you know when I phone up and I'm put on hold
33:02
hey you're Pilgrim and you're like no no Simon's voice I don't know whose voice I think Simon's voice cuz he did that
33:08
questers are currently dealing like no no your members of staff are dealing with don't know you know what I mean
33:15
yeah I I've never rang them up so I didn't know don't don't ever ring up the uh hmrc website because their their
33:22
music is designed to make you put the phone down cuz it's high pitched and it's tinny and every now and goes goes
33:28
like that so it's just like old old folks with like hearing ages going be putting that phone down I feel like I want to go to war hammer Weld and the
33:34
Mount of complaint going to go in and go I'm G he's not in a suit of armor yeah on the phone he said he was I mean I
33:40
will I will shout out the customer service department is great brilliant it's brilliant yeah the social media guys may need to take's got into the
33:47
system this just just go now put your big boy pants on and just admit that something's not really sorry we'll put
33:53
you in your customer service we get get that sorted instead of saying this is broken we're going to blame it on a
33:58
fantasy small fat Dem know mean yeah just go no just admit that something's
34:04
not work I mean I only said I only said half of the comment oh sorry go on don't worry we've released NE and her black
34:11
Talons to hunt them down oh for love of God any minor sight issues will be fixed
34:18
soon it's people's money yeah and Warhammer is really expensive like I feel like they're they're missing the
34:23
mark minor minor yeah yeah oh speaking of which I need to get those black Talons cuz they look Mega I've not
34:30
seen the animated TV series but but the the figures look great yeah so thank you
34:35
for reminding me of that yeah yeah I hate that I just hate this thing of like trying to Comedy it off it doesn't work
34:42
for me although I might buy them off element because I don't think I want to buy them off the website well the thing
34:47
is I wonder how many people went well this is ridiculous how do I buy me space Rens and then find out element whand and
34:53
others amongst them I've got website and to go I'm got a minute it's cheaper as well oh you know what I've just
34:59
remembered I got the um the new before the website changed over I ordered the new NEC under book oh yeah oh oh it's
35:08
not turned up and that was two weeks ago cuz it's showing us out of stock on the
35:13
it when it was in stock oh so I wonder if it's oh I need to check that with customer services because I wonder if
35:19
because it won't have my order history yeah cuz apparently that's disappeared like yeah yeah the one of the comments
35:26
was screenshot of the money I spent on that book um you'll have you'll have an
35:31
email with a number on won't you yeah hopefully should yeah well there we go yeah so uh yeah no one's annoyed uh as I
35:40
said at the beginning um everything's fine we'll sound the everything's fine alarm uh I feel like it's the meme with
35:47
the dog in the house on fire and it's like this is fine yeah it's fine yeah it's better go to sleep speaking of
35:53
she's yeah we've just got a little fluffy cush in there now yeah fluffy cushion yeah for well to be fair to
36:01
she's been awake 4 hours so she obviously needs out about 9 hours worth as sleep oh I'm going to try and
36:06
remember the breed of your dog okay a
36:11
oh is it a Legato Roman noo ROM a Legato
36:17
Roman noo sounds dog from the Roman region I was going to say that sounds
36:23
made up but all words are made up so yeah yeah yeah um wonderful what um I'm happy about
36:30
that a lamb a Lamborghini Lamborghini Al Romeo
36:35
yeah yeah she's uh she's a Bugatti uh
36:41
yeah brilliant wonderful um so what else have we been up to chaps we've obviously moved we've all been a bit ill we're
36:47
kind of back apologies for the illness I do apologize fine I don't think I was patient zero but I still apologize I
36:54
mean what was um I'm going to I'm going to go back and find that pangin and punch it in the face
37:01
um that was patient zero wasn't it um I think it was it like a in a wet Market
37:07
or something like that um in in China with the is there because they store the different species on top of each other
37:13
with that and then and then that helps cross like contamination between species
37:18
and then it can drump to humans or something I don't I can't remember that's my limited what we should just
37:24
done is just flame Nagle nagling that's I mean sorry we've been off
37:30
nagling in infested the studio apparently that's the acceptable
37:35
excuse well if I go back to my other days of retail if I got ill I was not allowed to be ill cuz I'm Space Marines don't get ill Jeff oh that's true Space
37:41
Marines do not get get ill if you've got one lung two hearts I've got two hearts you've got two lungs full of Co
37:48
that's fine because you've got your third other lung that should be able to keep you going yeah yeah as a 20
37:54
something you're like oh yeah space means don't get your should go and then you grow up and like you're an idiot space means don't exist I got ill and
38:01
I'm staying off so I'm not worse yeah it's always funny when I look back now going what an idiot for falling for
38:07
that yeah yeah I think there's a song that like and it's oh what's it go it's like that's some kind of
38:14
abuse like I think it was number one at some
38:21
stage bril yeah yeah so we moved we moved I mean I know it's been finished
38:27
uh and you can't see me yet but I built I want to say G Gabriel Gabrielle
38:32
Gabrielle dreams come true no different it's funny CU if you if you change heads
38:38
he has got one where he's got a wonky eye he has yeah so it could be Gabrielle could be Gabrielle get an eye patch for him uh but yeah he's great uh so thank
38:45
you to a fellow friend for donating the model that they got donated to uh there
38:51
was some Gloom requir because it was a little bit trash but he's huge he is I think one to four scale I believe is the
38:57
scale uh so pretty pretty big quarter scale is probably I mean if that's a space that's quarter scale they're tiny
39:03
right I don't know yeah I the mightbe one to Fourth scale of a regular human yeah maybe yeah maybe 1 to e of a of a
39:10
Space Marine yeah is he in Terminator armor he's in cata fry armor one to nth then maybe a few people
39:18
have been asking me on on Instagram like where it's from and I was like it was from licensing they got rid of it cuz it was damaged um the actual company that
39:25
made it I couldn't tell you was done for dawn of War as a promo thing and I think you could buy it was like 15 grand ,500
39:31
quid wow what yeah yeah so lordy I don't know why I'm surprised at that but yeah
39:37
I mean it's it's it's impressive but I won't pay that I tell you what talking of figures I'm really looking forward to
39:42
see what wet are going to release yeah they they they're doing six scale stuff is that right was it I don't
39:50
know what the scale is I missed that bit was it was it oh cuz there was a so Asma
39:55
there's a company called asmus that does one one to six scale figures and they do um a Gandalf and an Aragon there's been
40:01
a lot of like Lord of the Rings characters in the past from different companies but asmus are quite uh high-end onet scale figures and
40:09
Gandalf's got rooted hair and it's all like proper curly and like it just looks really I mean it's like 300 quid for the
40:15
Gandalf but you look at the model you're like that looks like Ian McKellen and that looks like Ian McKellen's hair not
40:21
sort of pissy wizard hair looks a bit weird but it looks really legit and
40:28
Aragon looks really good too was that um thought wet AR going to just do Lords of
40:33
the Rings are they I don't know what the doing for Games Workshop are they do an
40:39
actual cuz there was a there was a video releas yeah they do 40K in fantasy or you know I think it seems like cuz they
40:46
showed pictures of um a uh chainsaw oh
40:51
right oh no okay so uh Warhammer is already known for making the best fantasy min in the world and now its
40:57
legendary characters themselves from the tabletop into a brand new series of one
41:03
six scale premium Statues by weter oh wow oh so statues not figures okay yeah
41:09
oh right yes you they won't be posable or anything guess yeah yeah normally if you go to like Sideshow or hot toys
41:15
they'll say if it says statue then you know it's just like it comes as is i' love I'd love to see hot toys got a 40K
41:20
license yeah there there's one at the moment I don't I can't remember the company they've done a death core c uh it's on pre-order at the minut it it um
41:27
like on one of the websites it was like 100 quid and it's it it looks really good but it's not at all licensed by
41:33
Workshop so it was interesting do you remember that other one who was it made that other one that was like an Kad
41:38
actionman siiz Kad that was green wolf um and I don't know if because they I
41:44
don't think they exist anymore because they did a lot of Modern Warfare like weapon sets for on it scale figures and some Modern Warfare figures then they
41:50
randomly did the um the cadan which CAD officer year but I don't know if it ever
41:56
got made um it's a shame I remember seeing it and thinking it was pretty decent yeah it did look pretty Co they
42:02
came with like a nice see if nice arrange of stuff like you give a p Fist and stuff and SW for what you get and
42:10
the cost of the figure I don't think was worth it yeah if you was he more was he
42:15
like hot toys price I would say hot toys are cheaper in comparison oh wow um I would rather get a hot toys like Star
42:22
Wars figure you've got a few haven't you a lot of them are custom ones that I've made myself there was Red Son I got years ago if you're looky and go on eBay
42:28
and like loose websites you can make your own and they still look just as good but yeah I've got a couple we you got some GI Joe on I've got GI Jo ones
42:35
yeah so that was the time Sideshow in like the mid two like 2010 plus they did
42:40
a lot of GI Jo characters some new ones coming out now um but they were kind of
42:45
based off the cartoons but more modernized to look like modern warfare troops and you got so much stuff for
42:52
them and at the time they're like 70 quid which at the time seemed a lot of money comparison like 250 now but you
42:58
get like all the webon which opens cuz you got you know you get your little bag belt buckles you get little tiny belt
43:04
buckles that open and you get water canteens that go in it pouches for your your magazine so if you got like a cobra
43:09
trooper and he add it look like an ak74 you get a MAG that goes in it and then about six other mags that go in pouches
43:17
a knife that went in a pouch grenades that went in set pouches um like goggles
43:22
mask helmet all removable interchangeable hands I've I've got um
43:28
I've got um I've got a Boba Fett and the um the pistol has got you know like as
43:36
with a lot of pistol holers has the loop going over the top of it the loop has the tiny the has the tiniest magnet so
43:43
when he goes over it literally magnets into place so and the um and the to another weird thing he has of the tools
43:50
in the front of his pockets on his shins all them can come out yeah I really like that stuff when you get all those little
43:55
see if I can lose them yeah easily lost for sure yeah yeah I wonder what will I
44:03
assume the first things that will come out of wet a I mean they'll obviously be a Space Marine like I think that's a good I
44:10
think that's a solid guess that that but I wonder if they'll and maybe what like a Cadian ANC yeah like you think do you
44:17
think they'll get like one of the biggest factions think they'll do any characters I wonder what they'll do
44:23
characters would be a good way to do it wouldn't they I think so maybe instead of like here's a generic Space Marine
44:28
they go like here is Gillman or cuz I mean if you like look at the
44:33
lording statues they've done it's obviously based on characters not like random gondorian it's it's like you know
44:38
denior or faramir or bamir or whatever but then maybe they did do like random
44:44
characters yeah I mean if I was going to get a statue that's that that costly I don't want random guy that dies in scene
44:49
one no I want I want big ass character that survives to the end well I I would
44:55
quite like random guy that uh dies in pelor fields cuz I be like
45:02
cesium he's missing an OD it's Michael yeah yeah yeah yeah oh that's funny yeah
45:09
it be interesting to see what happens yeah I forgot we doing stuff for Workshop how much how much are the Lord
45:14
of the Rings ones uh what the six scale figures so the asmus ones for Gandalf is
45:20
like 3450 quid I'm not sure how much Aragon is you can you can get other company ones again can't remember the
45:26
names of them but they retailed when they first came out like 150 um cuz six scale figures are expensive because of
45:32
all the manufac and the paintwork this is what people forget because they're look at and go that's expensive for an
45:38
action man doll it's like no all their faces are individually painted by an
45:43
artist who look like the actors oh the the hot toys I think the first one of them where I became aware of hot toys
45:49
that literally stopped me in my tracks was when I seen um Iron Man with no helmet on any went Jesus Christ that's
45:55
like photo perfect Robert Downey Jr literally cuz the other thing as well they're not painted in eyes the eyes are
46:03
are like a little glossed yeah piece of plastic that are then inserted so there's a oh no some are painted oh some
46:08
paint some are painted you get removable eyes yeah you get ones that have like painted eyes and then do all the iris
46:15
and stuff like that I mean you look at even like the heads are like quite chunky like that kind of size um and you
46:20
look at the eyeballs in the IR like blooming out that is some that is some artistic skill cuz I look at them from an artist Arty point of view and I even
46:27
like you look at the clothing they weather the clothing with airush dry brush as well oh yeah the Bobble Fett
46:32
I've got from sort of like from sort of like we're talking about them the the shin tools downwards it it starts to
46:38
fade into like a it becomes like more oily than the feather it gets to what what I do like so going to Star Wars
46:45
vein is they've got um Tamir Morrison Bob aair yeah and you get like a set
46:51
that has like him in his battered armor when he gets it back from Mando razor crest and then him and his like Boba
46:57
Fett sort of black outfit yeah um but then what they do is you got like the Clone versions of Jango yeah um so or
47:05
Boba um and you have like Rex but because it's based on animated they've
47:12
made it look like real life so they've taken Tam Morrison to look like Rex then you get the bad batch which like they
47:18
have like elements of Tam Mor you're like oh I can see it um that's my only
47:23
dislike is the fact is that I struggle to to tune into the bad batch ones
47:29
because you've taken someone who's never been an naturual human-faced character
47:35
and made them look like a human when you go but the they features are very animated features so and it's like you
47:42
look at them and you go well it's blatantly who it's meant to be but it looks weird cuz they now look a bit real it's kind of like yeah they look like
47:48
the animated but they also look real it's like yeah you know what I mean it's like it's it's almost as if the bad
47:53
batch exist in a movie and then they animated them afterwards the way the the way the hot toys look you know yeah I
47:59
think I my favorite Star Wars one is um not got him but it's it's like you know finally one day I will get him is the
48:06
Clone Wars version of Anakin because he's got all his like Clone Wars armor Andes it looks so good but his face
48:12
obviously it's Hayden Christensen yeah um but it's got the long hair and it just looks like Clone Wars era but
48:17
they've recently brought out Padme from aack of clones oh my God it's so eily Natalie Portman you just literally got a
48:23
mini Natalie Portman in your shelf I think she's like 190 quid but she's not out yet but she has movable eyes she can
48:29
like like reposition the eyeballs into different positions just could she can make a
48:36
good looking out Natalie yeah yeah oh yeah their stuff's
48:43
good um I think my um I think my Holy Grail and hot toys would be um they do
48:49
biker Scout on bik don't I'd love that I mean you can at the moment if you go to kg hobby kg Hobby cuz I've been looking
48:56
I was look at them cuz they often have discounts you can get scout trooper without bike for 00 wow which is reduced
49:04
from 170 and most places if you look on like eBay all they're like 200 quid well the the guy you get half price Jeff you
49:10
get Scout for half price don't encourage me the guy who um the guy I got the Boba from he um he said um do you want me he
49:18
said I'll show you something cool so I'm at the door and he went I'll show you something cool and he walked away and he come back and he went close your eyes
49:23
and I went all right and then he and he went open them and he had a correct scale uh grou oh wow okay a correct
49:31
scale it looked like it was going to start moving it was and I said to him what like full size yeah so it was
49:37
actual size and um and obviously you know they've obviously put them in from
49:43
behind you know the eyes and the eyes were all like layers and layers of plastic because of all this and I said I
49:49
said God it it literally looks like it's looking right into your soul doesn't he goes yet he says I was he a really cool
49:54
thing hidden under of the skin was a magnet so you could put the metal ball in his hand you remember when he was
50:00
obsessed with that yeah you could put it in it and all the clothing is all stitched and yeah it looked literally
50:06
like someone put a movie yeah someone put the puppet down and G the puppet from the movie from the show you go oh
50:12
yeah blatantly and it's just this I like when they do the hidden magnets cuz like um like the Mandalorian jetpacks are
50:18
like magnetized to their body suits take it off and the magnet magnetizers on I still can't work out where the magnet is
50:25
but Cobra Commander from the sideshow ones GI Jo figures yeah um he has a cape
50:30
that doesn't like tie on he's got like these two like little clasps and it just magnetizes onto him I'm like where is
50:36
the magnet I can't find it's not in his jacket it's not in his t-shirt underneath and his shirt it must be
50:41
somewhere in his body and it must be a really powerful magnet that's good but it's just really cool it's just like you just get these these two little clasps in a really nice flowing black cloak and
50:48
it just like magnetizes just to there and there so you never know then one day well maybe you never know he might get
50:53
hot you might get hot to his 4K if the TV shows get off the ground I hope so or the movies get off the ground with that
50:59
would be cool so I I keep getting mled up with joy toy and hot toy yeah so Joy the 1 to
51:05
18th I think 1 to 18th yeah and it's weird isn't it cuz hot toys and what did you say the other ones called side they
51:12
literally like they produce the same thing don't they really I would say hot toys I we've mentioned him before on the
51:18
channel when we've done like um when I was doing the shatter Point video Justin's Collectibles he does a lot of reviews on everything he does third part
51:25
ones he does hot toys and a lot of the sideshow ones are quite dated in comparison to like the hot toys ones so
51:30
he brings up hot toys clones Shido sh Sid show clones and yeah it's miles
51:37
difference um in in like quality yeah it's because I don't um remove from Miniatures to like well no because I was
51:45
going to say like um like I don't know if say like w bringing out C girl statues and stuff like I don't know if
51:51
it interests me um I have to bring one in and I have to bring in my um cuz I
51:57
did this with James and Dan from uh wart TV the photographers we love James and
52:02
Dan and I brought in my um oh my God I forgot it's Bruce Willis from Gio
52:08
retaliation and it just looks like Bruce Willis and James was hawked he's like I need I need one of these in my life and
52:14
he's just been looking at like all the Modern Warfare characters cuz you can get like um like Lan Survivor you can
52:20
get um uh oh God what's the action Loan Survivor thank you I keep want to say Matt Dam but it's not yeah you get you
52:27
get literally the Lone Survivor dude that looks like Mark wiberg um and it's just it's uncanny yeah cuz I maybe like
52:34
maybe I'd like get an Arie one from like predator or something like I feel like that is like a big part of like my
52:40
childhood and growing up Commando and predator of and and like watching movies with my dad and and that would be like a
52:48
nice sort of momento of that but I don't know if like I don't know I think I like
52:53
Miniatures yeah because they're Miniatures like I I don't know if having a Space Marine on a bigger scale you
52:59
don't want a bigger CH interests me yeah I think it has to be something you really want so the first one I ever got was the GJ ones CU I've was a fan of GJ
53:07
and I got uh Cobra Commander no baroness and Cobra Commander and then just there was a couple like eBay auctions where
53:13
they normally they're like 120 quid and I was able to get them for like far cheaper than that like in some places
53:18
like 30 it felt like robbery um and like Liz like how much was that was like that
53:23
was 30 quid like you should I was like yes it was it like cuz people just like weren't bidding on them or they didn't
53:28
write the name properly or they didn't like you know it wasn't I just timed it right um and I still feel like I Rob
53:34
these people because they are worth a lot of money now um but you have to pick it if you like it yeah it mean it means
53:40
nothing if it's just a random figure if it's something you've always like I mean I eventually made my own red Sonia because red Sonia is like really hard to
53:46
get hold of now and there's a company called TB League which do like mostly
53:52
female and sometimes male sort of sword and sorcery characters so usually scantly clad or whatever likeing like
53:58
bikini armor boob armor gr armor that's it that's just the male ones yeah absolutely but they started getting like
54:05
like like more into like some of the comic characters and stuff so they did like red Sonia and I was like I've
54:10
always liked red Sonia as a character I wish they did like Conan but there are a couple of third companies that do I've
54:15
got to be honest I've always liked don't get wrong everyone loves AR Schartz Niger Conan but I always love the way he
54:22
drew him with like the deep dark set eyes and quite FR art yeah he looked
54:27
really really feral yeah well very Neanderthal sort of brow to him cool so
54:34
yeah so if they bring yeah we'll see what WETA do I'm quite looking I'll look forward to it but like I say I'm a bit
54:40
like you it's not something I'm hugely interested in but you know they'll done release him and you go oh my good god I've got to have that in my life you
54:47
know it's going to be like that it just become a a bit of a I guess a habit after a while of like oh that's cool
54:52
I'll get that one oh I've got I've got a collection now see the only one I ever wanted was Boba Fett and the reason was cuz it is and I and I accept arguably my
55:01
um my favorite science fiction yeah costume of all time the first time we saw Mandalorian right yeah absolutely
55:08
yeah I they do the and I know now I think it's hot toys I think do do uh
55:14
Boba Fett where he comes with all of the gear so you can do Empire Strikes Back all Return of the Jedi because obviously
55:19
there's a big costume change between the two they do prototype Boba Fett as well in the w in the white and they do like
55:26
one called Arena where he's all in black yeah which is one of the comics yeah yeah yeah because um yeah Boba fetch um
55:33
armor is Gauntlet change color between the movies oh because they basically cuz
55:38
name dropping I asked Jeremy Bullock when out a convention one said why was he a change of your gear and he went the
55:44
honest answer is he said they lost it and then he says and when they remade it they went oh let's have a look at it in
55:50
red yeah all right we'll go with that so a lot of it yeah loads of stuff went Miss cuz obviously his gun changes
55:56
between Empire and Jedi yeah yeah yeah I never noticed this ever few things jet
56:03
Pack's difference Vader his armor changes in every movie fil and the Storm Troopers change a little bit and stuff
56:10
Troopers Mandalorian Scout Troopers are very different to return the Jedi Scout Troopers yeah but he didn't know that
56:15
breast plate armor joints oh I like Scout I never noticed yeah so
56:20
the breast plate for Return of the Jedi is different to uh Mandalorian and some like the shoulder pads and some of the knee pads cuz someone saying like they
56:28
put the knee pads upside down but it was actually just a different knee pad I mean I'm sure I get correct in the in
56:33
the comments but hot toys mimic what they see in the show and you look at the two side by side cuz I was recently
56:39
watching the scout trooper review of like the hot toys one and it puts up the Mando version yeah and they're very
56:46
different from each other I was like oh I was I didn't realize that I think if I was getting the trooper now I think I'd
56:51
really like one of the models of the um of I like them show sh Troopers I think they're very Co yeah yeah the sh
56:57
Troopers are from Rogue one from Rogue one yeah I've always wanted and they're not I don't think they've done it I I
57:03
always liked the uh Navy Trooper the Empire Navy Trooper the one with a massive helmet and the the the black
57:10
outfit I don't know what it is I always thought they look pretty cool and Sinister and I've always wanted to see
57:16
that outfit but all they've ever done is done the helmet on princess layers um base for Return of the Jedi with Wicket
57:23
they never actually made they've done like Death Star Gunners and stuff like that but they've never done like the Navy
57:29
Trooper yeah hello we're awake again do you have a good nap yes oh good good
57:34
glad glad glad you had a good nap yeah yeah like the third microphone's over there play the microphone the four one
57:43
talk to the audience talk to the audience yeah I'm just going to go on to the last
57:49
thing about side show they they did start scraping the barrel for ideas for Storm Troopers you ever seen some of the Storm Troopers they've done they' done
57:55
like the ones in um you know you get porcelain sort of like bowls that have all like the blue willow pattern oh yeah
58:02
like like the Dutch design like the Chinese sort of St they did like a stormtrooper with that they' done like a
58:09
Christmas Stormtrooper done like Chrome and bronze and gold I'm you're scraping the bfly
58:14
now aren't you Mexican Day of the Dead storm I mean who's why would you want a porcelain designed with like blue
58:21
pattering you know you have you know you're looking at your Stormtrooper on your shelf and you go you know what great but if he looked like a plate he'd
58:27
be so much better I mean my grand likes Storm Troopers and plates so let's get
58:33
that let's see if we can put her with her collection on her well stresser and see how long it is before she
58:39
notices I've not heard that for a long time that's that's a good advert right there it's like do you like Star Wars
58:46
cuts to someone yes do you use plates
58:52
yes this is the model for you porcel Stormtrooper get it now oh
58:57
amazing I don't know if I mentioned it on the any of the chats but I know we I briefly talked about it on um uh stream
59:05
live streaming but sucom uh I went to that uh oh was good it was very good
59:10
really enjoyed it I wasn't there all day uh as I intended to be because of the flooding uh cuz driving to BPO was
59:17
interesting from Derby even like with all the floods it was still quite sort of like that's going to rise quite high
59:23
up if I don't get home soon um but the event itself was great uh really nice sort of venue lots of like
59:30
really nice boards as well they had loads of like like laser cut scenery and stuff is a really nice place to play but it was just a really good event Arbiter
59:36
was there that was good Cas of him so played a shootout with him which was T he brought the cops oh I the ashes I I
59:45
spent ages like I'm not I'm not very gy but I decided I want to minimize the rules for me so most of my ases I read a
59:51
LZ gun a LZ pistol and a sword or or two swords left for me to think about yeah
59:57
and I did one e who I called red Sonia uh and she had two swords and in the end CU she got the some skills um one of
1:00:04
them is I think counter attack one called rain of blows that I could if he misses me I can then turn those into
1:00:11
attacks I had nine attacks against one of his coppers and missed with everything and I was like I've got nine
1:00:16
attacks here how can I possibly fail this is going to be amazing M of it all so I really screwed up the day I don't
1:00:21
think I won a single game he's a lovely guy arit three he's nice company I played against a if
1:00:27
he's abroad now I think he might be isn't he he's doing a lot of the stuff yeah I think he might be going over to I
1:00:33
think he might be over to in Australia at the moment maybe lucky man into aand
1:00:39
but there was a table next to us I was playing guy a guy called Kieran used to work for Workshop a lovely guy used to
1:00:46
spend hours playing like games with him like because I made made James Bond game up and stuff us to play that and he was
1:00:51
like oh I couldn't get tickets for something I was like yeah get some tickets we'll get sorted we got him I got him down there um and I played
1:00:58
against Tim and there was a bit where he cuz he'd done a a venor war band which is like Bounty Hunters basically just
1:01:03
make what you want you what you want and he'd made a war band of those no it was Outcast my tell like it was an outcast
1:01:09
War band and he had this augin guy which just just dropping a what is that thing called it's not a ball a Kong a Kong
1:01:16
sorry if you could just he this about Rubber Ball B and there's one bit where we're
1:01:21
playing this game and he's got this o augin and I'm bending down to get my rule book out cuz there's something I need to checked for like a um like a
1:01:28
Special Rule and he said something about oh he's wearing a lizard suit and I was like why is he wearing the lizards
1:01:34
because you got loads of new War gear in the book and all I can imagine is those inflatable like
1:01:39
T-Rex that laughing why is so I was laughing he realized I said lizard suit
1:01:46
he meant Hazard suit he said Hazard suit I heard lizard so we're having this massive like moment where we're just
1:01:52
like in tears of laughter cuz we massive Mis both imagine these inflatable T-Rex and
1:01:58
the tables next was just like looking us like what so you know when you're try to explain the in joke to someone else and they're just like got you got to be he
1:02:06
said Hazard but I thought he said lizard I just imagine like this a running around liard suit around the under makes
1:02:12
no sense but yeah we had we had fun it was it was a blast you really enjoyed it it was a good event um try try next year
1:02:17
bring the Dela bring the corpse Grinders yeah yeah absolutely right very much
1:02:23
looking for I'm I'm going to try and play I want to see what it's going to be like in NEC under as well cuz I uh with
1:02:28
Arbiters cuz I've built I've got 10 of them now as well so they oh course cool just use them as the cops palanite en
1:02:34
forces yeah yeah just think the load out you can load them out exactly the same as well so and also you got the venor
1:02:40
rules from the book app perel so you can always look at that and just use those rules instead yeah that's true um you
1:02:45
could do anything with them every model is a necam under model absolutely and that um character you got from war plus
1:02:51
the vampire Camp will make a outcast no I think yeah that's a good shout actually that's a good shout do out at
1:02:58
some point I think what else have had since we've done the show oh space ring codec got New Codex that's pretty good
1:03:06
yeah quite liking that all the different variants of um task force that you can take a de I've heard like generally
1:03:12
positive things about yeah yeah it's been pretty good to be fair um it did shoot me down a little bit because
1:03:17
remember a while back I said to you even though I'll use a prime RS miniature and a bike I'd like to make Captain on a
1:03:23
bike yeah and thought I'm going to make Captain on a bike go to the new Cod X took Captain a bike out of him I thought
1:03:29
well i' Sav me a job yeah oh they removed it yeah they removed it yeah he's gone over he's gone over to Legends
1:03:35
oh right is it an old model yeah cuz there's no primaris Captain on a bike oh yes they've just done away they've just
1:03:41
done away so they've done away with it which I find weird well the fact that you've got a chaplain on a bike so how
1:03:46
do you do white scars exactly yeah well the one I mean that's this used to be a
1:03:51
bug bear of mine is like You' by ra Jakari dark Elder call dark Elder you
1:03:57
get dark Elder right you get your Raider fits 10 so you have put your 10 witch
1:04:03
elves in it or you put your 10 calite Warriors in it or racks if you want to yeah then you get your Venom can carry
1:04:09
five so you put five witches in it or five uh kabalites in it whatever but
1:04:14
then you have to buy a separate one for just an archon or a sucus I was like why can't you have 11
1:04:21
so you can put your lord in there and some troops or six put Lord in there and some troops yeah um cuz that's what you
1:04:27
do with like Razer backs it can carry six so you can put like a command Squad in there and a captain or you can um you
1:04:32
get like land Raiders which can carry what 20 so you can put a squad in there plus extras um it's 20 Marines isn't it
1:04:39
no 12 oh 12 yeah they've to be fair to them they have now upped occupancies in
1:04:47
vehicles because now pretty much they they the the way they want you to play it now is
1:04:54
is to apply um characters to squads yeah so they they have sort of um they have
1:05:01
sort of tried to go right well if this guy normally comes in a fiveman crew make sure he can carry six cuz you might
1:05:08
have something attached to it and you know so they they have sort of jiggled that about a bit to try to so hopefully
1:05:14
when you see a dark Al dark well I've heard that now the dark but that that used to be a big bug be early days but
1:05:20
the thing that going back to my point is like the one thing you'd expect from so Jakari is fast moving stuff
1:05:27
right so so it was always like you'd end up having like all your stuff in fast moving Vehicles apart from your lord who's walking through the webway yeah so
1:05:34
everyone else is like flying in Jets and he's like oh I'm I'm walking again it's the same with the white scars why is there no commander on bike why is he why
1:05:41
is he always walking i' never get it it really it's just a big bug bear in M are you being a pain we talk about making
1:05:46
narrative thematic Al armor you try and do you can't do that you can't make a thematic Army because it's like I've got
1:05:53
all these cool guys that can speed around the battlefield apart from the Lord he's like I'll walk I'll walk again
1:05:58
sh yeah how long's that bike going to be in the garage yeah I think all of that I think
1:06:05
yeah I you know and I think they'll probably catch up but um I do think all of that's a bit silly that you're going
1:06:11
you know especially you right for specific things like if you are a White Scar player that you haven't got a you
1:06:17
haven't got you can't make a Captain on it like no and then other weird things is like you know they've made everything
1:06:23
under the sun variant of how to have a um have a Space Marine left tenant but you're not getting one in Terminator
1:06:29
armor you know I mean like come on D Death Watch Overkill set do you remember
1:06:34
that it was the death watch set for the box game with the jeene silic yeah I remember that coming out was the white
1:06:40
Scott on a bike in that I believe he was oh he might be actually yeah it was really weird driving around yeah
1:06:47
Interiors of like an old factory but s it why not I like the idea of being on a bike and being really smug while you
1:06:53
make next door to you all walking I need to find this out I need to find this out now I mean I I can imagine like serves
1:06:59
yeah like you say like they were like okay white SCS we're going into battle Captain uh you're walking and then and
1:07:06
then later they're like okay it's a stealth mission in this Factory and he's like yeah about the rocket launcher with
1:07:14
these sniper Scouts oh know I do you know I'm glad that I never play cuz I
1:07:20
was when when I played 40K previously he's on a bike he's on a bike everyone else is walking but the other White Scar
1:07:25
guy is on a bike which is thematical yeah so I missed sniper sniper squads
1:07:32
because when I played 40K first time round the Scout just joined an ordinary
1:07:38
unit and then in my absence they went like we're going to do sniper groups and then so you're going you get four
1:07:44
snipers and a man with a missile launcher you go that's stealthy yeah yeah when they got rid of them as well
1:07:52
now so's no snipers squads in the int maybe they'll update them with the the new Styles hopefully give you more
1:07:59
weapon options they um speaking a bikes they announced the uh Christmas boxes
1:08:04
and it's yeah it's all fast attackers Mar all yeah there's 15 jump pack intercessors oh wow um the captain and
1:08:12
then you've got three bikes and the ATV like yeah that's that's a white to car set Mar Double Dash left if only had a
1:08:20
captain on a b oh well it's suppos the captain's flying so still fast that's yeah I said that would make it even more
1:08:26
funny that it's all jump packs apart from the captain who now on a [Laughter]
1:08:33
bike I just can't catch a break so okay guys we're going to deploy into the
1:08:38
battlefield how are we doing it uh we're just jumping out the ship what I've got a bike ah it's your problem mate uh just
1:08:45
I've got to be honest I like this whole thing that going anyone can play any task force but if you have got an army
1:08:51
painted a particular way that had a trait of how they played we're still there for you you know like if you're
1:08:57
stealthy and you you've got Raven guard there's a stealth one if you a gun line Imperial Fist and you know ultramarines
1:09:05
is that do you think they'll release codex supplements or I think they will I
1:09:10
think a lot of the chapters I think will still end up with codexes because they have specific
1:09:17
Miniatures yeah right you know what I mean like like black watch black watch
1:09:22
black watch that' be cool black Templars have a codex because they have sword Brethren
1:09:29
they have they have Castell they have different a sword brethren in the Space Marine CeX no no right they're only in
1:09:36
and crusader squads which aren aren't a Space Marine thing either they are a black Templar thing so if your unit has
1:09:44
a specific way of doing things then like Dark Angels are blatantly going to get a
1:09:49
codex a because they've got the lion yeah they'll they're going to get because they've got death watch um not
1:09:55
death watch um Deathwing and then they've also got Raven Wing so they're going to get a codex blood angels will
1:10:02
get a codex because again they have specific they have they have
1:10:07
specific units that are only are unique to them so I think it's if I think what'll happen is if unless your unless
1:10:14
your Marine Army doesn't have a unique unit you'll probably stay with the normal codex and if you do you'll get a
1:10:21
supplement can I ask a noob question h go for it um if you have a black Templar
1:10:26
Army and you bought loads of the new ones can you play them in tth do they have cards for the like the sword
1:10:34
Brethren and Hell bre yeah there's there is there is you're still on the index cards for black Templar but they will in
1:10:41
Du but the really interesting thing is is that obviously the black Templars
1:10:46
take vows so they do things a little bit differently to the standard Marines so they do all of that but then you can
1:10:52
still apply one of the task forces to them as well it's not they go oh they're
1:10:58
locked into playing this way you can still take all their vows and their unique ways of playing but then they can
1:11:03
still go we're going stealth or we're going fast on bikes or we're going to do this so they can still so you can still
1:11:08
lean into the other ways as well so it's made made them very so the ninth codex still works with the 10th rules is that
1:11:14
what you're saying no no I mean no because they've done away with that completely but the the the black Templar
1:11:20
have the index cards for all their unique units and their unique ways of
1:11:25
like they do vows instead so they do this they take this vow which means like they hit plus one in combat and this
1:11:31
that other but then in the codecs they can still take all the different task force ways of playing so they can still
1:11:37
stealth it or they're not stuck with just playing one particular way which I thought was quite it's an extra level of
1:11:43
you know thought was quite cool where'd you get the index cards from then well you can't even really get them anymore
1:11:49
can you all right okay I think they they they turned up for about 10 minutes and they're gone now and um
1:11:54
so now you um you have to rely on the you have to rely on the app which fly
1:12:00
enough guess what is on a subscription that's clever but to be fair I I was in
1:12:05
Warhammer world the other day with Pat and they was still I still seen a lot of the the index card just nor you go to the shop you find this just online is it
1:12:11
I get the impression from what I understand that they're not printing anymore yeah what was printed is that it
1:12:16
oh right okay it same with like the um necam uh gang tactics cards and stuff
1:12:22
like that it's like a limited print usually there's always some in the shops but once sold out online you're never
1:12:27
going to get them again have to go to a shop that's interesting yeah yeah I was talking to some of the guys at some kind
1:12:33
like yeah you can't get these ones anymore unless you go on to eBay web like eBay and like spend like 30 quid for one set I'm like I'm good Madness
1:12:41
I'm good Madness get those cards and laminate them so they're always in perfect condition right you might be
1:12:47
right yeah so yeah they're so bad codex um I bought uh uh stuard the the the proper
1:12:57
five as opposed to five and then um yeah what's that kit like in compared to the Lo of good stuff on it um it's nice I
1:13:04
not use them because they G pure prime Rus but I like the fact that they've done some the stard guys still are wearing like mar8 helmets and things
1:13:11
like that and and they can have them um you can give them combies or you can
1:13:16
give them bols and it will give you all of the variants to do all of them which is quite cool I like that they cuz
1:13:22
they're all the stone guard they're all primaris aren't they like that scale yeah um but then they have like the old
1:13:29
helmet on do you think when you cross the Rubicon does your head get bigger do he have to get that like did he have to
1:13:36
get if you can still get your old helmet on yeah yeah um so yeah may maybe they
1:13:42
bigger FY the helmets maybe they do biger yes biger I would imagine then the
1:13:47
thinking of like Marine of marine helmets when to go I want to keep me own helmet being like um wreck from Clone Wars It's been cut off one oh yeah big
1:13:56
well I wonder why what what what it was about his helmet from like cuz there elements of like phase one and phase two
1:14:03
that he was like I really like the respirate on phase one but I really like the the Dome bucket on phase two I'm I'm
1:14:09
always like what is it about that part of the helmet that you really like is it like lucky I don't think it's ever explained no it's not um it just does it
1:14:16
I didn't even realize for the long a thing and and then one of you guys pointed down and then of course
1:14:21
it's welded is that like work for space Oh yeah will it does it what I
1:14:27
love about this show is we ask the real questions I mean I got to know this cuz they all like ceiling units like Storm
1:14:33
Troopers and like Troopers that can you know survive in space with their helmets and the gear yeah um but Rex is like
1:14:38
compromised the Integrity of that helmet now it's um space welding space space w
1:14:44
space weld KN I knew You' know P Pat knows you seen enough Mandalorian to know it work know yeah so yeah uh so I
1:14:54
and I bought it and I I've given in and done which as much as it kills me as jump pack Marines
1:15:00
on on precariously small tactical rocks nice you know cuz you know I hate it I
1:15:06
hate them being on two toes stood on a bit of rock I hate it but I'll put them together I put I've just put a couple
1:15:12
together on I can't think of a better way off the top of my head to do this right now and I think and if I do think
1:15:18
of a better way I can just snip him off and do that mean you should put pouches on the shoulders as well oh of course
1:15:23
yeah right at the back of the shoulder every time I see a a pouch somewhere weird on one of pet the
1:15:29
wargamers videos I now just think he's just trolling me yeah yeah yeah probably probably for for for getting his back
1:15:36
when we used to uh raid him when he was on Twitch yeah and just send him into a bit of a meltdown and every time he just
1:15:43
he just does like like just a list of like five by Gates where it's just like yeah that's another pouch yeah that's
1:15:49
another P that'll teach them for saying a boost a biscuit yeah yeah oh yes of course yeah that trigged that big
1:15:55
meltdown meltdown and we know it's not yeah I Mis Raiden Pete yeah I watch I
1:16:01
was watching Pete's video last night actually he was trying to figure out how to he was working out the idea of building an um a new necrom Under gang
1:16:09
based around the idea of I've not played it so I don't really know them very much but trauma team from um cyberpunk oh
1:16:17
2077 is that what is yeah so so they're like um it they're like an ambulance
1:16:23
crew but heavily armed and look really cool I would imagine that imagine that
1:16:28
on berer yeah yeah yeah that's that's what that's what private healthcare is
1:16:34
like theel the model the figurine that he
1:16:39
based it off is really cool it's like a a guy dressed in that sort of medical
1:16:44
green but with armor and a gun yeah but then the guy behind him and they got like these cool looking helmets the guy
1:16:51
behind him has actually got like is getting the medical kit out so it's like he's covering him while the other guy's
1:16:56
getting ready to save someone's life and that was what was inspiring him to make them and they looked really cool to beir
1:17:03
fun the the great documentary that is er uh from if you ever watched ER the the
1:17:09
old TV series about Chicago watch it but George Clooney yeah yeah there's a lot
1:17:15
of like big actors have you been sued into a fight with the dog goose is in it Goose from to yeah he didn't well he did
1:17:23
die eventually didn't he cuz he had a horrible tumor in his head I think yeah Mark green I think is the
1:17:29
character's name is but the thing I always got from that and I never realized this was like um I think we mentioned this before in the past I
1:17:35
never knew that the fire brigade had was the paramedics as well yeah America yeah yeah they're all one organization yeah
1:17:43
oh fire and rescue is um so so when the the paramedics turn up and the ambulances it's fire and rescue it's not
1:17:50
like the NHS have their own ambulance service so all ambulances in the US are like
1:17:57
private yeah CU it's called EMS is Emergency Medical Services yeah so they yeah I don't know
1:18:03
about well don't know about privately but I guess come come and leave poor Pat's fingers alone I won that yeah it's
1:18:11
the most expensive ride isn't it in the state so far is taking an ambulance it's like Porsche Lamborghini or ambulance
1:18:17
which is more expensive oh yeah there like um uh oh you coming back for round two
1:18:25
thing is the problem is she'll do that all day long that's what happens when you've got one of their owners as a 15y
1:18:31
old boy oh right yeah yeah yeah that makes sense um I I remember yeah random
1:18:37
tangent there was a YouTube video of people going like oh how much do you think uh this costs and it was like
1:18:42
getting an ambulance or or I think it was uh somebody took a picture of their
1:18:47
invoice they were given for giving birth and um that after the baby was was born
1:18:54
they went here's your child and they went skin to- skin contact like $20 or
1:19:00
something like and it was all itemized and builds and P's face zoom in yeah
1:19:06
holding my own child costs me money now yeah yeah there's um there is a girl on
1:19:13
um Facebook uh I can't remember I can't remember her name but she's called York
1:19:19
Peach and she's from she's from um she's from Atlanta Georgia which is obviously
1:19:25
the peaches there fruit of the as you'll probably know um and she lives in leads
1:19:31
with her English husband and she always says she um I think she moved to the UK
1:19:37
I think she moved to the UK pregnant cuz he lived over there for a while with work and then they moved here and she
1:19:43
always says I had a baby for free I got a baby she always goes my baby my B you
1:19:48
know he's like about 11 now she goes said he cost nothing and she said and for months she said she said I was like
1:19:56
keeping money aside cuz I thought any minute now that Bill's going to turn up and even though husband they won't
1:20:02
charge you for having a baby she's like I'm sure they will any day now yeah I mean I just can't get my head around it
1:20:07
I mean obviously it's normal for probably people in the states they probably don't agree with it but it's still not the norm the norm whereas for
1:20:14
not I guess yeah cuz like I get we PID through it through our [Music]
1:20:19
taxes um and it's yeah funded by the state but then that it's free at the point of use like yeah yeah and I mean I
1:20:27
guess you pay for a prescription or something but but the only thing is I can't see the NHS have an unarmed Department to come out and no no rescue
1:20:35
me on the ground that would be that would be interesting wouldn't it yeah yeah
1:20:41
imagine that Sarah I know you thought you were actually doing A&E tonight but go and get your
1:20:49
rifle I mean sure that goes against the hypocracy no harm right yeah but I've got a
1:20:54
machine gun the guy behind me Will Do no harm but I will yeah oh cranky yeah oh my because I
1:21:02
I think in cyber Punk um I've never played it it's yeah because it's set I think it's set in America and and and I
1:21:09
guess yeah you have health it's it's a form of health insurance this health insurance like
1:21:15
you're armed yeah cuz you um he must drop into the middle of gang Warfare I assume yeah yeah so so I think the
1:21:21
starting the starting Mission um you find someone who is starting to die and
1:21:27
you get them like breathing again and then you take them outside and you give them to the uh like trauma team wouldn't
1:21:34
that be cool in necr that you could pay the money to have that and in the middle
1:21:39
of the game you could put Miniatures on the board that had a round of shooting and put you back on your feet would be
1:21:45
really cool that would be fun or they take you off the board and make sure you're fine so you don't have to roll if
1:21:54
they no he didn't break his leg he's totally fine yeah around to shooting and your guy is definitely okay for the next
1:22:00
game how would you pay for it though how would well you use your stash St it's like a post sequence or pre-sequence
1:22:07
cost that you could do so normally like in neam if you have like Jeff Del for
1:22:13
instance he rolls to see how many because sometimes when you normally do a game you don't use everyone in your gang sometimes you have to roll to see how
1:22:19
any of them turn up and then but if he's hired Bounty onto if his hide HDE scum they don't add to the total that's added
1:22:26
after so if you're if you're like you can only take six gangers he can only take six gangers you take six he takes
1:22:31
six plus his three hides scum and his Bounty Hunter yeah um so that's that's
1:22:37
like could come into that kind of play like I'm going to pay for the trauma team to turn up in round two yeah
1:22:43
nothing happens in round two tough look You' already paid for it round two yeah yeah they've turned up no one's dead
1:22:49
they've just shot so imagine being so lack of lack of belief in your own abilities AG go I better turn for them
1:22:56
when we're 20 minutes into this fight I'm going to turn for to turn up because I reckon I've been shoer
1:23:03
then play yes oh Bella pause
1:23:11
Bella maybe we'll just maybe we'll just end there
1:23:17
yeah we we there's some there's some uh roll in the uh
1:23:23
I bought some kitchen roll yeah should be loads in there on the Shelf uh just looking at a little puddle of yellow
1:23:29
yeah uh Bella has Christen the carpet yes yes we' we've christened the office
1:23:35
um with whiskey and dog pee oh I forgot about the whiskey yeah that was lovely
1:23:40
sure forgot about the whiskey as we can hear Jeff I can smell that's potent cursing in the background um that
1:23:46
weirdly smells a glen fiic I don't think so oh bless you oh that is pungent yeah
1:23:54
reminds me of that's Sugar Puffs I'll uh oh sorry yeah oh no yeah
1:24:02
Jeff uh you got book cam yeah that's that's the best camera um Book C yeah so
1:24:09
I think with Jeff twerking and cleaning up dog piss that's he gone to work that's that's the perfect time to
1:24:17
end thank you very much for for tuning in everybody we really appreciate it um
1:24:22
um and uh yeah we'll see you all next week bye bye
