this video is sponsored by Squarespace hello I'm Jeff hello I'm Patrick hope
0:05
you are all well how are you yeah I'm all right how good good I'm all right thank you sadly no Ross again this week
0:11
yeah uh he's got things going on and we hope he's okay and we'll see him as soon
0:17
as he's ready yes no sooner no sooner than when he's ready yeah if you are listening to this Ross before it gets
0:23
released I love you and I miss you yeah we do man yeah all I I you know my my fingers are just so old now I can't do
0:29
that no no like just like arthritic claws that I now have for hands so apparently
0:35
there's a way um to to tell which generation you're in um
0:41
because older people if someone says do a heart shape with your fingers she just knows doesn't she she
0:48
does know she has to get a camera time yeah hello hello
0:54
hello sorry having a little dog into lead um is yeah I I would do a heart
1:00
show like that yeah whereas I think uh I can't even do it um you if you're like
1:05
gen gen Z or something you Gen X yeah you do it like this all right okay or or
1:11
you know yeah I say I was just claws now barely managed to get them straight never mind all all right okay but you
1:17
can hold the paintbrush still yeah just about thank Sensational um so I have uh there lots
1:25
of exciting uh miniature miniature gaming content but I've got got the answer to the to the question that I
1:32
think we asked the most and maybe the audience want to know as well um
1:38
Battlefield trophies oh it's a great box I got was in in the last chat that we recorded which is a couple of weeks ago
1:44
now um I think because I put the title um being like this is actually the best
1:49
warham release in ages referring to this yes um and then I think everyone thought we were talking about Em's children um
1:55
how wrong they were yes but um I as if we weren't going to just be random as usual yes yeah yeah yeah um but we we I
2:04
remember we were like oh my God Servo skulls before the Box uh got released and we bought it we're like we wonder if
2:11
they're dead or alive and then we were like LOL well they're skulls they're dead I can confirm that they've been
2:17
molded with one flat side uh yes I've got to be honest I've got it and I've not even looked at the servo SC on a
2:24
base so they're they they're dead dead they are dead dead okay you know I was looking through
2:30
it and I thought the only people who don't seem to be there and I assume it's because the fact the way their helmet
2:36
are designed I don't think there's any uh votan yes we talked about this there
2:43
just there's some tiny human skulls which I think could be things like rattlings and things they might be meant to be although votan seem to have head
2:50
human heads virtually the same size yeah but um yeah it doesn't seem to be particularly votan in there but
2:56
virtually everything else seems to be covered even weird alien even weird
3:02
heads that I think are from Blackstone Fortress oh okay there's some ones in there which are like um human human
3:09
skulls but with no eye sockets yeah I think they're from creatures from um I think they're creatures from one of the
3:15
Blackstone Fortress releases yeah so yeah it's a really really good box um
3:20
Sensational later on I'll be uh we'll be on the show I'll be showing my New Year's resolution oh yes yes of a
3:28
character or a unit month and I've actually used something from that already ooh I can't remember even though
3:35
I've seen the miniature I can't remember what's on it um I'm going to guess it is
3:41
a tyranid head o oh yes I will put that up later on cuz I am I am relying on the
3:50
C on the customers sorry in Barber Shop mode there I'm relying on the viewers to
3:57
uh to be on my case if don't bring something in once a month yeah cuz I
4:02
think it's the only way that I'll I think extreme peer pressure is the only way I will carry on with getting something yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
4:09
and even then when I knew I had to get this in for for well I could have essentially rarely speaking I think it
4:15
could be next week could be it's it's cut off that I would have needed to have got it in but um even then I was
4:21
thinking I've got to get this finished I need to get it on the show and then I was like oh these and I was just oh and I wouldn't mind p a bit of that and I
4:26
was like oh for the love of God stick to one thing so uh yes so uh yes that's the
4:32
plan of continuing to do that yeah I've got some work in progress uh Raptors which are so good can't wait for the
4:38
episode where they're seen so they'll they'll have their own video but I'll I'll put some on a turntable and we'll
4:44
have a look they're looking really good I'm really impressed with your uh with I love Raptors anyway but I think you've done a banging job with them so that's
4:50
cool and that was following um uh a mighty brush he released a PDF recently
4:56
so I'm following that and uh seeing how it goes even involved in an emergency visit to the barber shop didn't it it
5:02
did it did yeah I mean that was an interesting one so yeah we'll talk about it later yeah talk about it later
5:09

6:35
we're leate to the party because we don't have the opportunity to get together as offic and as other people
6:41
do everyone's talked about it and I think we probably should as well the
6:46
start is two trailer yes there've been all these other videos but everyone cares what us two [ __ ] have to say
6:53
um but what are the painting faceing
6:59
absolutely Sensational everyone cares about our opinion the most we know valck thinks you put a video up about a minute
7:05
and a half after it came out absolutely yeah yeah yeah no well well played to the guy do you imagine do you like when
7:13
when some news drops or it gets released or a trailer comes out like his phone blows up and he's just like sorry kids
7:21
you're not you're not doing karate class anymore back in the car and then he races off home he has to get the video
7:27
out I'm just if VI like me I have been on the occasion he think he's phoning up and he's going yeah kids club can you
7:35
yeah go and get them from school I won't be there yeah he's partway through cooking kids the roast is just
7:42
completely burned order a pizza the start his two trailer drop
7:48
like the man's on it he does he does he spins around very quickly and good old
7:54
orex tactics spins around very quickly as well for them orex tactics is more of an Enigma I think do you think I just
8:01
often think with uh chapter master valra that he actually does do you think he
8:06
just sits in a chair just staring at his phone just literally waiting for it he's just literally can't do anything just
8:13
sits there just staring at no I tell you what I tell you what actually happens like all of his leaks are like he knows
8:20
his stuff yes he to the point where everybody knows including Games Workshop that he has somebody quite high up yeah
8:29
in in everything um telling him what's coming out so I
8:35
think he does a bit of both doesn't he I think he's very good at having I think he's got someone on the inside yeah but
8:41
I also think he does an extremely good job of keeping a very close eye on things like Reddit and stuff like that I
8:47
think he's he's he's always information sifting as well I think yes yeah yeah um
8:52
so yeah he um yeah I think he was not all this
8:58
running away from uh kids karate class and not stopping stopping cooking tea halfway through he's actually
9:05
pre-recorded that video and and he's just got his finger on the trigger when he's allowed tost so then start his two
9:12
trailer drops and then he's just there clock watching thinking how long would it have taken me to film this video and
9:18
get it out if I'd stopped cooking tea straight if I hadn't actually recorded this video six weeks ago exactly yeah um
9:26
I reckon if you saw like valra in the video when he releases it uh and then Val you'd be like you grew
9:31
that beard really fast you actually look physically older yeah yeah you look
9:37
weathered by time um yeah so there we go um I think I think that's what he's
9:43
doing he's pre-recording everything he's that finger on the pulse yeah yeah you know he's probably read he's probably
9:49
read the 11th Edition rule book back to front and just wait until he can talk about it yeah yeah yeah
9:54
yeah but um I don't know if if uh if anyone actually watches him but my Squarespace adverts um you know you have
10:01
to make a Squarespace website and um the the like I've made a website that is
10:08
just like who is valra spy oh right gam Workshop um and uh use that to sell
10:15
square space Services yeah um but yes ay yes what did you think just general
10:22
overviews think as soon as I watched it I think I uh I think I just sent you a a
10:28
starties video is up wow and I was re I was really really impressed with it and
10:34
I think I did a lot like a lot of other people did which was and and I think valra as well might be a bit guilty this
10:41
where I just went wow that's amazing didn't read anything that warom said and
10:46
went oh it's going to be episodic it's going to be about a different a different chapter or a different hero
10:52
every week and all the rest of it and just completely put an entire narrative together in my head about what it was
10:57
going to be they were actually clips from the show you know and then
11:03
um and then sort of then caught up with myself and went oh no these are actually
11:10
flavor for people who may be in the next
11:15
yeah in the next run of episodes as opposed to it being these are clips from the show and and and then and then you
11:23
today really put me in the frame and went this is quite these clips some of
11:28
these clips are quite old and these weren't even the original chapters when they first when they were first released
11:35
they reskinned a lot of guys yes yeah so um there was after aartis came out and
11:41
the Warhammer community and general sort of Internet awesome Community just went this is the coolest thing in the world
11:48
ever yeah um there were clips that got released for a starties 2 when it was
11:55
still like a fan project um so it was super interested in watching the trailer cuz I was like oh I recognize these so
12:02
when I don't know how they got past me is a bit that the GU is like punching Orcs in the face and there's really
12:08
awesome like squishy bone sounds where you just like yeah um and that's
12:13
fantastic uh he is a lamenta in well he's a lamenta in the original one but
12:19
now he's a moric a mortification that was what I was looking for yeah I like them they're creepy as hell the most of
12:24
the cases yeah um and then the guys that uh fighting with the tyranids um so
12:31
they've um I think you know there they've probably repurposed footage whether it's just for the trailer or not
12:38
but the general sort of it's the general consensus it's we're looking at individuals that will probably if we go
12:44
by that Inquisition like kill team yeah they're going to well they'll be they they'll look like they buy that
12:50
Terminator with the the Inquisition symbol on his head meaning that they will then be probably at the very least
12:57
members of Death Watch or death watch um Death Watch Terminators and these are like just you know
13:03
apparently the the rumor is that that these scenes we've seen won't even be in yeah they are just literally they're
13:11
just so good yeah they're really good um like like the first like intro shot like
13:17
when they're sort of descending and you see the city and the rain and everything I think like it does such a good job of
13:24
capturing atmosphere yeah um and everything you look at is like seeing a
13:30
a tower stealth suit like disappear whilst it's being shot at and sort of like that sort of electric Trail sort of
13:36
disappear off and oh yeah like it's just so awesome it's really good um I really
13:43
love the um the really uh casual shot looking down at the um the three uh
13:49
sides of the emper off the way on the way to the pub just just like striding off to wither
13:56
Springs one briefly turns around just to double check who designated
14:03
driver designated R driver on the Wither spes just out a shot yeah just quick
14:09
whip of the cake and then yeah yeah it's great and you know and it's funny cuz I'm not um I don't often consider myself
14:16
which is a leftover thing from being a space Wolf player as I was back in the day I'm not a big cap guy on Space
14:23
Marines I'm more of a um Pelton Space Marines sort of Guy and um you know I
14:28
always and don't get me wrong I've I've painted for my son plenty of Space Marines with capes on because they're his army and
14:34
you know he likes them and it's up to him but I still always I think hold on to that slightly that thing from The
14:40
Incredibles that you shouldn't have a k Punk it's going to get yeah it's just going to get you in trouble you
14:45
got a little bit like that but there is so many cool and blinking you'll miss
14:51
some shots in it and just you know things like we were talking about just seeing the back of a just seeing the
14:56
back of a dreadn and being able to spot that it's got a missile p on it and everything it's just and the sheer scale
15:02
of it yeah really cool like we talk about as well super skinny chains swords
15:07
that yeah you know what that was something that I didn't pick up on at all yeah really thin chainsaws which I
15:14
think looked great and I think gives the idea that is a a decent jeweling weapon
15:19
but yeah I'm also you know think you know I was on a page of the day and someone said why aren we why AR why
15:25
don't Space Marine chains swords look like that on the Miniatures and he go be push to get them that th and then get
15:32
teeth in it you know and I thought I like the way they look I like the fact that with them having an exhaust on it
15:37
and you know blankly and Eng and that they are a bit of a chunky looking thing but in that shots the couple of shots
15:42
that you see them in in the uh a starties two trailer I think they look really cool yeah yeah I was really
15:48
really blown away from by it um I showed it to my youngest who was instantly Blown Away by it as well so that was
15:55
really cool um and I obviously is always absolutely Blum and beautiful animation
16:01
as well just just always blows me away how good it is for it not being a team
16:07
of 300 people yeah yeah cuz I I assume it's a bigger team this time around yeah
16:12
than it was last time um and it's really really interesting like the um like the original aartis 2 like clip teaser
16:20
trailer it's like 16 seconds long yeah tiny isn't it um if I can find a link I'll I'll stick it in the description if
16:26
I remember um but you just type in aartis 2 and then it's kind of like the third and fourth one down after Games
16:32
Workshop but um it's so it's so so good yeah um and I I went back and I watched
16:38
the original aartis and um and that's still amazing it's still excellent and
16:45
that was like five years ago oh yeah it's got to be five years ago at the least isn't it
16:51
you know yeah and God knows how many years ago it was when he started yeah you know what I mean it's great the top
16:56
comment on the um aartis 2 official trailer is oh they finally let the
17:03
aartis guy out the basement and you think yeah you go and
17:09
obviously he's been allowed off the basement because we as we said there there is still new shots in there as well but yeah you know think if if they
17:15
are actually shots that never see the light of day in in the actual second
17:22
series then you know it would it would be a shame it would be a shame but um I can't imagine they put
17:30
all that effort and and yeah I mean maybe that's why they've rkin stuff but
17:35
there is loads of new footage in the trailer as well CU to me it it looks like the idea is introducing you to the members of a Death Watch Team yes you
17:42
know and then I wouldn't be surprised then that you know when we actually get the series that them shoulder pads are going to be the ones that we'll see on
17:48
all you know yeah um yeah I think it's um I think it it's really really Mighty
17:53
impressive um and you know what I like I I hope because they they you know they
18:00
they do feature quite prominently and it is Chapters that that you know virtually
18:06
well every chapter by the blood angels in that trailer are all second
18:11
founds yes yeah yeah they're quite more of the bit Niche yes yeah so so I think
18:18
you know it be nice to see um it'd be nice to see maybe more of of uh inspiring people to get their paint
18:24
brushes out and do these chapters that you know are still a bit out there I know the problem is is you know for for
18:30
us me Immortals that can paint okay the idea of going I've now got to try and paint the the sons of Medusa logo of
18:38
like that spiky circle with a skull in the middle of it or having to start trying to paint sides on a helmet and
18:43
and on a shoulder pad and you know you just think it's not going to be the easiest of things the multiplicators are
18:49
pretty simple because the fact that are they like black and white black and bone black and Bone and they have a um a
18:58
skull emblem yeah and you know the amount of places where there's a skull emblem big enough
19:03
to go on a shoulder pad that right sizes loads of you know party places and all that kind of yeah third party or even on
19:09
the Games Workshop On's schools are of the right size fine right so you know they're not going to be the most
19:15
difficult to do but um you know but I think some of the other one you know some of the other ones are a bit querky
19:21
and and obviously uh his his home brute Space Marine chapter that he's got that
19:27
there's no there's no I think actually someone might have done decals for them I can't remember if they
19:34
I'm sure I might have seen I imagine some exist yeah which like it's like a um a gloved hand holding the skull oh
19:40
cool so yeah I think I've actually seen somebody done them and I can't remember who it was whether whether it was scumbag Customs
19:47
or Mighty brush or somebody like that I think might have done them already but I can't swear to that yeah but I I I hope
19:54
it you know yeah like the quality just looks like a step up the scale of
20:02
everything like we've got Space Marines and tanks there's all the the NIT running in the desert being blasted by
20:08
the Rhino which you pointed out yeah um like everything about it is just sort of like taken up a level like the the first
20:16
to starties was all interior spaceship type stuff until like the very last shot
20:23
yeah absolutely right and that's a funny one is because it is something I'm I am although I'm really enjoying it is
20:29
something I'm painfully aware of at the moment is which I don't think I fell first time rounds as much but I'm currently playing um the remaster of the
20:38
original Dead Space on uh PS5 and I am feeling a little bit like you know I'm
20:44
getting a bit bored of corridors metal corridors you know and I know and they going oh look there's
20:50
another air conditioning fan and there's are this and there's that and they go and I know they're just taking the they
20:56
the art they create the art of of these things and then just bolt them into places when they're building the levels
21:02
and a big grubby industrial space Spa spaceship would probably just look like that and I completely get that but you
21:08
know you're just a bit like you know I'm just I'm getting a bit Corridor blind you know and you're right with the
21:14
original one it was very much like that it was but um the thing is I've got to say is I do
21:23
hope and because it was weird alien trickery in the first trailer yeah and I
21:29
know there was a big slies of Chaos in there as well don't get me wrong I do hope that this actually does continue
21:36
yes cuz that poor Space Marine just flopping into that new environment with no arm yes and and then standing up and
21:43
it's all them big seating statues of like skeleton type alien figures isn't
21:48
he I was thinking I do I'd like to see if that is How It Ends um you know like
21:53
to think I'm quite broad Minds with storytelling that not every story needs a definitive end just when no and he
21:58
fell through into another dimension and he was never seen again and that was all there was to it then that's fine but I
22:04
think I would like to see more of that and if it involves you know I'd like to think maybe the Death Watch Team will
22:10
end up where he is you know would be quite cool yeah so if it if it is a if it does tie in my sort of thinking was
22:18
that it would be the inquisitors uh or the Inquisition going to find out what happened to that Space
22:26
Marine Squad yeah especially as well as like the Inquisition probably te up to find out what happened to that Inquisitor that they punched really hard
22:32
in the face and then double tapped yeah oh yeah like that I love the speed
22:39
of their reaction chaos punch B bam yeah yeah they were just like they were ready
22:45
yeah and oh cuz that that scene specifically has been repurposed for like so many means oh yeah yeah um where
22:52
it's just like BOS and again the sound design is so good um you really feel the
22:58
impact and then the beaky Marine is just like double tap yeah cuz you think at some point the inquisitors are going to
23:04
go we haven't heard from inquisitors to Steve in a while yes he went off to look at
23:10
something he's not come back yeah then need's going have a words with them Marines so I'm assuming maybe yeah CU
23:17
there was those two sort of circular spherical things that kind of potentially talk to each other um it
23:24
turned that guy in Saye and made him get punched in the face yeah um and then the other one swallowed all the
23:31
Marines yeah but then only the one came through yeah so yeah I can imagine that
23:37
the Inquisition might go H yeah and then and then tricker a foot and then do it
23:43
so it might be cool if there's a team and then um you get to see how they join
23:49
the team and then what they're doing together be interesting to see if the second one's silence that would be very interesting
23:56
because yeah the first one there's like dialogue like no audio at all is there no um and he doesn't need it no no God
24:03
no cuz the storytelling is so blatantly obvious I know it gets a bit weird when you go and weang on there's this ball
24:08
thing here and there's another one over there and what how are they that gets all a little bit you know open to
24:15
interpretation but generally didn't need it did they you know no and and the the
24:20
the intentions is are such a high level I remember rewatching it um with a bunch
24:26
of people or like after i' filmed a battle reports and slowly sort of learn
24:32
40K or the very Bare Bones of it enough to to edit it and um the scene where
24:38
those two sort of like psychers are sort of like holding the bullets and and all that sort of stuff they like they follow
24:45
the phases so they spray them with like automatic fire and and shoot at them
24:51
then they charge and then they fight like and it's just all like every everything in that was such a good yeah
24:59
interation of the game rules yeah um and it it wasn't to the detriment of the
25:06
show so many people will have watched the starties and loved it and not have
25:11
no idea of how the game works but if you do you're like oh they did that brilliant um which is awesome yeah it's
25:18
really um it's really cool it's um it's funny isn't it CU already it feels a
25:24
little bit like it's taken the Shine off secret level yeah you know what I mean I mean and go that's really tough because
25:29
secret level bless it was about 20 minutes long and this comes out it's about a minute and 32 and everyone like look that it's amazing yeah yeah yeah
25:38
well to be fair I'd like credit where credit is due to Workshop they they've
25:43
hopefully on purpose let's assume that they have um played a Blinder in
25:50
that Henry Cav's Amazon show got announced on in December and then
25:57
secretly came out yeah in December I think the Warhammer episode is like a big standout yeah one I think it was
26:06
really good like the vibe of it was great all the direction everything just the four of those Space Marines walking
26:12
in a line being like right let's put some work in and head butting people to death Sensational um and then running
26:18
running through a boogie which is one of my favorite yeah that was yeah Titus just been like you gone um absolutely
26:27
amazing um punching people so hard they just disappear into smoke yeah great so like
26:34
um Corridor crew did a video like reacting to it and saying how great it was cuz I think they're fans of
26:40
Warhammer and and all that sort of stuff but that show gets like millions of views so it got a lot of eyes by a lot
26:46
of people and then they've dropped the aartis 2 trailer whilst they're still like it
26:52
it's all sort of growing yeah um so I asked people on Discord sort of like what their thoughts were and someone
26:57
said I'm worried that they've released the trailer like too early well do you know what the worst thing that could
27:03
potentially happen here is that they've gone 2026 and it comes out next December you know you're going that's two that's
27:10
two years nearly yeah have they have they put a date on it did they just said 2026 oh they did did it say 20 oh I
27:17
missed that oh that's devastating so it's a year away or very nearly two or
27:23
very nearly two yeah so I don't think you I think the reason
27:28
they probably haven't put a date on it and I think it in some ways is probably a good thing for Games Workshop is they might not put a date on it and just went
27:35
as soon as it's literally the paint dry will release it as opposed you know yeah
27:41
yeah okay yeah oh that's I was so excited looking at space range punching Orcs in the face um I I like probably a
27:48
lot of orc players quite excited at watching them Orcs go to work on that
27:53
one it's quite it's quite funny how um it was out the back of a mil wall game
28:04
cuz in in the original trailer when it was a lamenta yeah like he's like
28:10
putting some work in and then you get swamped by Orcs And there's a scene where there's like four or five are jumping on him and because it's a
28:16
lamenta you're like well they're dead yeah um but then then now it's someone else you're Oh They'll probably get buck
28:22
up again they'll be fine they're a Space Marine all the don't do well yeah they bless them um right so yeah 2026 that's
28:29
uh devastating so yeah it's going to be hard to keep the hype going with uh the other one as
28:38
well I think we actually didn't discuss and actually was pretty decent was um well you just quickly go quickly quickly
28:45
check the name of what it was called but the um the one about the cadens on Warhammer plus oh yeah yeah yeah that
28:51
was have you watched it yeah and you know what it was um yeah it was really good to be fair um yeah return to K yeah
28:58
it was course yeah that was really good and um it had uh a couple of nice little
29:05
plot twists in it um you know wasn't the usual suspect I
29:10
don't know you know they weren't mind blown but they were cool that they were in there um and for hammer and Balter
29:16
was quite interesting because it wasn't the comic book animated comic book art it was proper computer animation yeah
29:24
but um yeah um it's okay and um and it is
29:29
um yeah relatively suitably creepy you know yeah squads of cadians have gone to
29:36
I've seen the trailer but I haven't seen um yeah does a really cool thing which is it's really odd when you do this
29:42
thing when you think about the fact that it's a practical effect and then you see Gia of somebody running with the GoPro
29:49
facing back on them yes and you're go you know and you think the L you know it's become a a bit of a staple in some
29:55
Horror in horror movies over the last few years and then doing it in CGI always bit I think I'm going oh we've
30:01
got to make it look like you know and he go fact that it's actually not even a person great it's really well done it's
30:07
really well done like I I rewatched um Pacific Rim recently oh yeah uh the first one cuz there's only one I've
30:13
never seen the second one so I assume the is only one yeah um and they do such
30:19
a great job um with all the CG and the scale and everything because they think
30:24
about how it would be filmed in real life yeah and then that makes not sort of forget that it's sort of like CG
30:31
basically um so loads of the shots are from helicopters yeah or whatever and
30:37
there's some in there that are completely implausible yeah um but it helps like ground stuff in a reality and
30:45
then it it helps tricky brain so having that GoPro thing you're like oh they strapped a GoPro to that person's head
30:52
they're a person yeah they're they're they're scared and that's what that that's what this does it does it does
30:57
helps us also just to really help push the horror element of the story yeah but
31:02
that if you haven't seen it and you have got Warhammer plus if you are one of those die hards that just keeps
31:08
forgetting to cancel their direct deit like me um then yeah it's uh it's
31:15
not a bad little episode that I quite enjoyed it but did you have some opinions about uh from from uh Discord
31:22
we had some opinions about it yeah yeah too sorry uh a great trailer with elements uh of a trailer that uh Sam Pon
31:30
originally released for aartis yeah uh it's co Snippets for more potential prequel shows for aartis 2 which uh is
31:36
totally going to be a Death Watch series yeah uh lots of people comparing it to secret level but uh Simon Peterson was
31:43
also part of that thought he was so he was a layout artist okay which is sort
31:49
of like almost like you're laying out the shots you're designing the shots and
31:55
sort of like what they look like and and that definitely had like that same feeling of like gravitas and awesomeness
32:00
so so uh awesome of that U so he's part of the team uh so it's part of the team
32:06
yeah yeah the swings roundabouts every single part of the trailer is a work of art uh from composition to sound design
32:11
to lighting to pacing it's an excellent trailer I hope it doesn't become a victim of its own success for people who
32:17
didn't read the wgom article I'm definitely one of them uh they may not know that none of the footage will be in
32:24
the full aartis 2 show so they might have certain expectations and could end up being disappointed yeah for me though
32:30
I can't wait to see whatever comes out because it's too late to change it now as the rest of this year is likely
32:36
rendering and editing everything who sent that so that was uh posum man thank
32:41
you very much posum and then gibbo said uh they're promoting it far too early uh
32:46
like in the past with the preview shows uh showing things that come out 8 to nine months later and we forget and
32:53
don't want it anymore it's difficult keeping the hype train going this long well you never know they might just keep
32:58
they might just keep pushing little bits out you know that'd be nice you know every few months you know and then uh
33:04
and then blah blah says loved it even if it's basically a Vibe piece that wasn't
33:10
uh that won't actually be in the shorts that's uh released in 2026 it definitely Nails it very cool to
33:18
see multiple settings factions depicted definitely want GW release an up start
33:24
and a start his upgrad spr now with properly sculpted shoulder pads and a bunch of Mark 7even helmets and such um
33:31
so yes um yeah people very much sort of getting the vibe that not all of that will be seen um so repurposing the
33:39
footage Mak makes a great deal of sense why they've done like the other ones
33:45
maybe they were just sort of like ones that he had in his back pocket or absolutely right cuz there's quite the
33:52
the the rumors like uh s repeats in the the chat behind the starties like GW
33:57
brought him on yeah and then there's rumors abound that he was invol he was
34:03
apparently just walking down the street and he was bundled into the back of a black van yes yeah the Lori want more
34:10
more animating more often um that he was involved in the Horus heresy trailer all
34:16
right um the one that had Horus like walking along which is very cool stabbing a bunch of people yeah um
34:22
that's really cool that one he's been involved in secret level so like maybe they're only committing to a date now that's year away because they've
34:28
actually gone oh we might actually need to do a starties to like tell you what
34:34
so potentially they haven't played a Blinder because they've gone they've
34:40
gone oh there's loads of hype around Warhammer in a minute Henry caval everyone like secret level let's say
34:45
we're doing a st e 2 but then maybe it is just a bit too early yeah maybe maybe
34:51
yeah it could be a good that's could be a a fair point but I think um I've got
34:56
to be honest I would have thought the minute they bundled them into the back of the vanand that they yeah it would
35:02
have been first would have been first starties 2 wouldn't it I so I like to think that it's been on the cards and I
35:08
like the fact as well that you know they could have yes some people go I think they've had to a bit of fuss in both
35:15
camps here some people are going it's too early to show that if it's not going
35:21
to get potentially 20 odd months away at the worst case hope it's not that I know
35:27
you know it's first of January 2026 is what we hope yes you know but you know
35:33
but they could but at the same point in time and they could have gone say nothing to one yeah like with you know
35:40
movie trailers at the very best with a movie trailer you sort of get one at the you know the the fairest away is about six
35:47
months yeah on a movie trailer January generally is you might you might get a
35:53
teaser a year you might get something and and but generally like about 6 months out is about your norm and then
35:58
you start getting bigger and there'll be like two or three different trailers especially if it's a big Blockbuster thing um getting nearer but I I think
36:08
the fact as well that I think the people games work gone we need to remind people that we are still dealing with this it's
36:14
still a thing yes I think some of that was part of that as well you know look we will we we we promised that it's on
36:20
the cards it's getting made so you know the fact that that they've done that as well cuz the original War 100 plus
36:26
announcement apart from saying all the special VIP show things oh you know I'm sick of going to them you know them war
36:32
hammer plus VIP events God you know what just takes up so much of me time F got a weekend never got a weekend in the house
36:39
yeah yeah the am of business I've lost not being open having the barber shop open on a Saturday cuz sorry I'm out a VIP event I thought 45 VIP events was
36:47
too much well you know like maybe um just got drawers and drawers full of me
36:53
specialist t-shirts that they get send me and oh you know what
36:58
I can't believe a pie a little for it and you know what every one of them
37:04
VIP events for Warhammer plus subscribers free bar oh honestly very
37:09
kind of them hammers every
37:15
week brilliant yeah they're always in nottingam oh always in nottingam yeah
37:20
yeah God you know well I I can't it kills me now if I walk on a carpet that's not red
37:28
dog friendly as well yeah dog friendly yeah brilliant limo from the house to Lenton you know oh yeah yeah I forgot
37:34
about the show for driven pick up yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so that's hilarious cus that aren't aware of the
37:41
sarcasm there hasn't been a Warhammer plus event in the however many years I've now been subscribed to it yeah so
37:48
when they announced a St 2 CU I think it was just before the war plus announcement they uh
37:55
said we've bought a St and yeah we've we've kidnapped this
38:00
gentleman um much like they did with poor Sophie and I wonder whether Paul
38:05
sopia stuck at the same same costage house somewhere yeah yeah he's like oh
38:11
I'm I'm the foremost Warhammer animator in the world what what do you do well my cousin's nephews dogs's niece plays
38:18
Warhammer um T [ __ ] um yeah so they announced it yeah
38:27
like over four years ago so it's great that we're finally getting something yes
38:33
which is lovely and and you know and like I said I understand stuff's not quick to make but um you know I I I do
38:40
think that has been I think that there has been less time between uh Hollywood
38:45
Blockbusters Blockbuster animated movies that there has been between these two yes oh I'm sure there's a lot less time
38:51
between inside out one and inside out two than there is between the starties and the starties two but to be fair you
38:57
know inside out two probably has about 700 people oh yeah and the budget's
39:03
insane yeah so yeah I get it but was inside out pixel yes yeah yes I haven't
39:08
seen either of them there we go both great both really good films yeah um but uh I'm just glad I I think my bottom
39:16
line is it I'm just glad it's being done yes and I don't mind I K you know I'm
39:22
keep looking at the worst case scenario for being like 23 months away but but
39:27
you know you know what that's as as someone that I will hold my hand up and say got over excited and and thought it
39:34
was next week no like yeah I don't know what I thought but you thought it was
39:39
this year I'd hoped yeah um maybe like a summer release um along but it's no it
39:48
makes sense that it would be next year because will it be the new edition of
39:54
40K next year yeah could be yeah cuz they did it
40:00
should be the new edition of heresy this year cuz it's on a three-year cycle right so apparently so 4K Val seems to
40:06
be under the impression that uh you're getting a good shout outs this time valra um that 11th might come sooner
40:12
than was initially believed oh right but I don't know if that's true um it was
40:17
Sigma last year it was 40K the year before that MH so maybe they do
40:22
something with heresy this year and then it will be 40K again yeah so maybe a
40:29
year and a half here's a new edition yeah and we can use all the cool arties Clips in the promotion allegedly Space
40:35
Marines Space Marines Orcs next time oo allegedly allegedly oh that's exciting I
40:42
wonder what new ORS they'll do cuz the boys stor storm boys storm
40:49
yeah cuz oh we thought they'd be killed team didn't we they fly now we thought yeah we were convinced yeah um convinced
40:56
they s yeah we were convinced that it was going to be a very heavy flyer yeah kill team
41:05
happy to be proven wrong on that yeah yeah I'm happy to be proven wrong um we got ratlings instead yeah with the most
41:11
bizarre the most not jump jump pack thing you could put out there rattlings
41:16
rattlings and uh and and uh Orcs carrying big hammers but um yeah
41:23
so yeah I and the thing is now and the main reason now don't think storm boys
41:28
will turn up and kill team and this could be massively proven wrong is that
41:34
the ORS have now just had a recent bite of the Apple again haven't they because they they were they were the launch army
41:40
they were the launch Army um Force for the last kill team yeah which they got the yes
41:47
the they got no I mean for the F last time round oh the Commandos the Commandos which are absolutely stunner
41:54
models I put them together ages ago but now they're have handed some over to my little boy I've just been looking at
42:00
them again and it's just the worst sprew in the world oh it is the worst spew in the world cuz you do get absolute spew brist trying to find everything on it
42:07
they're amazing when they're put together everything's spread over three sprws like each model like nothing is like self-contained here's one model
42:13
here's another here's another it's just like H yeah they are they are lovely it's they're lovely when they're put
42:19
together the amount of detail on them is phenomenal yeah but I think so they've had them and now they've just had the
42:24
recer crew I can't see them being getting another go for a little while no
42:31
you know no and because the problem isn't it for Orcs is Orcs are in the nicest way possible Orcs are Orcs
42:36
whereas the Imperium is about 15 different Blum things isn't it and you've got like your your different um
42:44
models like you be snaggers I think I think they were potentially thinking
42:49
about going down the different cultures and and stuff like that but then we're just like no Orcs is Orcs And be a while
42:57
being a another clan can't you it's like a job yeah yeah yeah um so yeah I so I
43:03
can't see them uh I can't see them getting any any love for a little while the ones I the ones I would really like
43:09
to see is I would like especially it's been a big quite a big gap is um I'd
43:15
like can I have Kil team power armored sisters please I know they've got traine
43:21
sisters in their body gloves yes body Dan Abnet would say yes um
43:29
glove but um so so I'd like I'd like to see um I'd like I'd like some cool posed
43:36
sisters in yeah you know in you know cuz at the end of the day you know there is
43:42
cool posed Marines yeah so and you know but they're still just Marines you know
43:48
as as much as they are and so you know some sisters maybe you know cuz the cool thing you get out of it isn't it is that
43:55
and you got this a lot with the extra spruce for um for the uh faux boss guys
44:02
was the fact that they went there's Medics there's a marksman there's a radio up guide there's this there's a
44:07
that so you got an extra sprew with cool skill sets on it so be like you know can we have if you can't give us new sisters
44:15
I'll have old sisters but with can I have an upgrade sprew with and we've seen how good the upgrade up upgrade
44:21
spru can be with an night LS so yeah when you win model of the year when you win model of the year with an upgrade
44:26
spru Sensational so they absolutely can do it yeah they can do it yeah so I'd have I'd
44:32
have if you just gave me a sister upgrade yeah you know and but the thing is as well you know and you know it's
44:39
interesting because um they've they've knocked out the park already because this brutal and Conan
44:47
neither of them were an upgrade no no I think with the sisters I think was
44:53
second out versus yes to yeah and I think the to was an upgrade spr the to
44:59
was an upgrade spr yeah so they went through a phase of the first box would
45:04
be two new yeah um and then it's new and new and an upgrade new an upgrade new
45:11
and an upgrade and we've gone new new yes oh wouldn't be great if it was new new new all the way through and that was a part of the new kill team uh the new
45:18
kill team uh uh near nearly went Army there and went Sops and we're going to
45:23
standard operational procedure that it would be that every box is now new yes that would be lovely be very cool and we
45:30
should see how many times they can say new the great thing about the new kill team is it's new new new new yeah um so
45:36
yeah that would be awesome if they if they can keep that going that would be cool yeah but they don't have to keep it going because they've just vindicate
45:43
themselves is that they did they did the night Lords got years yeah we can just do upgrade SC somebody somebody high up
45:51
in Workshop is gone so we don't we don't actually have to make anything brand new
45:57
just and everyone loves it Ching yeah yeah it's just blinking
46:04
pounds yeah you're like because we've got loads of these sprs just lying about
46:09
um I like the idea that the P go says that they go Steve have the rest of the week
46:15
off yeah yeah take it as paid leave yeah some
46:21
extra day holiday buddy well done um but yeah you know yeah I mean I hope they
46:26
don't do that obviously no I I hope you know it'd be nice to it but do you know
46:31
I haven't been massively upset by any of them when they've been an upgrade screw
46:36
I've always thought the upgrade screw's been pretty good yes like when they did the The Marksman for the faux boss one
46:42
he's got like a better looking he's got a better looking uh bulk gun and he's got slightly twist onto side he looks
46:48
like he's just on the sight oh cool and it's just like little little things like that I quite like you know so um you
46:54
know the fact that you get uh uh you you get your Medic in there and you also get
47:00
your comm's guy as well whereas you know um old fo boss D the normal foboss
47:05
Marine box was which you should never buy even though I knew the new one is more expensive but you should never buy
47:11
that standard one because you only get uh you I can't remember whether you get
47:16
the medic in the box or you get the comm's guy in the box and it was this weird things that they did faux bosses
47:22
like easy build before that like spearheads or something it was B
47:27
newer cha chaos Marines oh right cuz spearhead has been repurposed for AOS
47:33
but I think it's like operation spearheads or something and it and it was like a uh it was like um Marines
47:39
versus Space chaos Marines and then they put the Marines and it became a get you
47:44
a starter box before they were a combat Patrol oh okay and then they them ones in there had the one you don't get
47:52
whichever which way around it was it was The Medic or the radio guy yeah and they got the other one was in the normal box
47:57
so you were always looking for this guy but incly harder to get him cuz they were phasing the easy builds out right
48:04
yeah but if you buy the kill team one you get both you get a comm's guy and you also get access to the medic so okay
48:10
Co you know and you know and then obviously even if you don't play kill team you've got the you've got the tokens that if you ever decide to get
48:16
round to it you can take it so yeah that that that fa boss team's actually again
48:22
getting back to the original point I was waffling away there that the upgrades Brew for a standard already pre-existing
48:27
unit is really good you know it did a good job so yeah so yeah foboss the night Lords yeah they they they've done
48:34
yeah and you I think you know a lot of them have been pretty decent but there's there's a few now are like there's a few
48:39
isn't he that increasingly now be coming round to their second run votan about two bites of the Apple now as well they have I mean they they're in desperate
48:46
need of having like a bigger Army aren't they I oh I think they're uh the best war hammer box in the world
48:52
ever the um yeah I think um I think their codes actually is going to flesh
48:57
them out a bit especially because the first time votan Ed up in Kil team they had a jump pack guy yes just one yeah so
49:05
I think they'll turn that into a jump pack unit so I wouldn't be surprised yeah that makes sense yeah yeah so I
49:10
think the and they have a guy like with like knuckle dusters on I think which might have been unique to that I'm not
49:16
well up on the vote answer so if he if he isn't I do apologize but I think he was unique to that as well so yeah I
49:22
think they will get I think they will get and I wouldn't be surprised as well that they might get another another vehicle or two yeah something else along
49:29
the way they've got bikes haven't they they're floaty bikes they got floaty bikes and then they've got that armored
49:37
thing in like it's two kits but it's basically the same thing but with just more guns and a bit bigger like they did
49:42
with the repuls on the Repulsor execution it's basically the same thing but one more on it yeah yeah so yeah
49:48
hopefully um so the votan I've had two bites the apple and there's a few that i' have now is Marines existing there in
49:54
or angels of death existed there in three ways being faux boss standard primaris pretty much and Scouts yeah so
50:03
you've got three goes so yeah I'd like you know there's other people I'd like to see have a a second bite of the Apple
50:08
I think would be nice now but like I say especially sisters cuz it's been quite a while for them has been a long time
50:14
isn't it yeah they were second they were second out on the second new kill team yeah but yeah so that would be cool and
50:22
we can't be that long off starting to hear Whispers of the next kill team
50:27
no I guess oh I'll tell you when we'll get it we'll get it in we'll get iton yeah we'll get it in March for adepticon
50:34
yeah so is that is that late February early March midm March if is it mid-
50:39
March I think uh de Conners yeah yeah so that that might be when we get the next one I think I wouldn't be surprised yeah
50:47
but uh yeah I don't know where the dates are oh uh oh 26th of March yeah to the
50:54
30th yeah yeah I make I'll get them on yeah get next month out the way I wouldn't yeah that'd be about right that
50:59
makes sense yeah cuz somebody was telling me that it was like cuz that came out tail end of December didn't it
51:04
was brutal and cunning cuz I bought it the Saturday before Christmas yeah so and they come out water are the like
51:10
every four months as they or is every three months like every quarter every quarter so it's every
51:17
three months usually four a year isn't it yeah oh so you know we we if it if it only gets announced to then that might
51:24
be actually running a bit late mm but brutal and cunan seem to come out quite didn't didn't take that long to come out
51:31
after hi storm though today so maybe they are just rebalancing a little bit Yeah
51:37
Yeah but yeah so hopefully we'll know what that is sooner rather than later I'm not even sure what I think I would
51:44
expect that to be no I don't have a clue no it's quite nice like I probably won't buy it so uh
51:51
oh oh um comers that kill team that would be cool yeah
52:00
quite a gly do if do quite a garly upgrade sprew or do new ones either way around I think that would work quite well yeah yeah that's what I'm going to
52:07
go with that the bad guys will be K Bas in the next one I'm going to be massively wrong but I like that
52:12
though I like it it's going to be chaos ratland
52:18
yeah yeah yeah instead about he trying to force V's M of sausage and be like a
52:23
baby's arm there you go like e like one of them's eating a cherub yeah
52:33
yeah rotis cherub oh that would be Sensational yeah I think even by even by
52:40
the Grim the Grim darkness of the 40K universe that might be a bit fun that might be more trench crusade to Fair yes
52:46
yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah the Amazon exacts looking at it going let's not put that in the TV show
52:53
um is it too late to that deal yeah get the
52:59
tipex we didn't sign this yeah but yeah so that would be um yeah that'll be cool
53:05
um other things that seems to be a sort of circling is the idea that we might be
53:11
getting um which we haven't really had much of before a 10th edition might be a
53:17
campaign book where they do one of these little campaign books and then they sometimes introduce new Miniatures in
53:23
there they give like they like a C chapter approves didn't they and all that sort St whereas they kind of people
53:30
were generally like God there's so many books yeah you need to KN this on the head because they the last they had a
53:36
run on it did the ninth when that other guy who end up that that one who wanted to become a a chaos God oh yeah yeah B
53:44
yeah and they did like x amount of books that didn't me CU like you know the lion turned up and one and there was rules
53:50
for certain things like vash's gang and stuff like that so yeah might be do one
53:55
of them maybe maybe that might be where that salamander image comes into play
54:02
that we've seen where it looks like we might been salamander codex we might not be it might be a campaign book maybe
54:08
we'll see so maybe cuz if alra saying 11th edition's going to come sooner than you think like if it's scheduled for
54:16
release next year anyway yeah if it's earlier it can't be this year so maybe
54:22
it would be kind of like a course correction book chapter approved yeah
54:27
I think um 10th edition seems to be having a lot of rules rewrites to the
54:33
point that it almost it look it's starting to look almost like it needs a new book just to because there's been so
54:39
many alterations and stuff that it might need a a bit of you know I was really panicking about um they just did with
54:48
their big update for kill team and I've only had a minor look at it but I was thinking oh God don't be don't massively
54:55
as I'm in the game don't massively throw me off and give me a whole range of stuff and but it's it's that it isn't
55:03
horrendous be fair so it's okay that's good yeah I amum if I told you this I was I I
55:12
because we struggle for time a little bit at home um I'm starting to consider teaching my youngest to play kill team
55:19
yeah and um he comes over to the barber shop to the barber shop from school and
55:25
I was sitting in the back painting yeah and uh he came in and I've gave him my
55:30
uh the kill team rule book and we were talking about so I said you want to learn to play and he went yeah I said
55:36
I've got to be honest it can be a little bit more complex than you think you know and he was like what what you find complex and
55:42
I said well I said for me getting my head round um shooting and cover and
55:48
such and such and then he went oh you mean and then he started
55:53
reading it to me in a slightly theend a mana and I was like yeah I can read what
56:00
like reading the book or from his head well well you know cuz obviously you know you know I'm like I can read the
56:05
book myself you don't have to read the book to me and that was when I turned around to give him a like growl and go
56:10
all right calm down and I turn around and he didn't have the book in his hand just goes in and stays there you
56:19
got a A Sant for a yeah I know I said to I said to bestie Tim I said I told Tim
56:24
this what I'm telling you now I told Tim that and he went I think we might need to get him round to onire r
56:31
games yeah might be the case yeah Bor yes so what else have we got to oh I
56:38
tell you what we've got to talk about games workshops seem to be um I've hired more hamsters for the conveyor belts the
56:46
C release for the rest of the army seems to be coming out a lot quicker than it did for the cadens yes so the stter box
56:51
came out at the time of recording came out last week yes and then the
56:57
pre-orders are up this this weekend is it a two we pre-order I think so yeah I think everyone's a two we pre-order I
57:03
was family yeah really seems to be a lot faster than it did with the cadens yeah and they've also shown a new cadan um uh
57:12
combat Patrol as well which seems to be even though it's not GRE is quite horse heavy as well yeah which is uh quite
57:19
interesting um yeah but more of La poli's Games Workshop I think that's uh
57:25
I think that's pretty good instead of this thing of putting that a lot I know there's I know there's things to be said
57:32
positive and massively negative for the fomo Box yeah I get it but
57:37
um I was very just on a side part of that very surprised at the fomo boxer
57:42
cre see more of them knocking around a few days later than I expected to see I thought they would be gone gone same day
57:49
yeah yeah yeah yeah but um so hopefully they're sorting out the stock yeah and uh and like I say the uh the gap between
57:57
the fomo box for cadians and then the rest of the units that they release seem to have a bigger a bigger Gap but this
58:03
time they seem to be much much closer together yeah basically yeah you know
58:09
it's you know fomo box to full fomo box to full release in what looks like
58:14
basically 30 days that's crazy yeah or near as dam 30 days I would say yeah
58:19
yeah yeah so what from the release of getting your hands on the first one to
58:24
get your hands on the next which good cuz I know like again going back to kill team like when the night Lords came out
58:30
I was sort of like oh I really love the night Lords but I don't love the elar that were in there or dark H whatever it
58:36
was mandres oh that's you know what I've just realized that's a second there's another unit that on in that trophies
58:42
box there's not dark alar in there oh yes the one that I knocked on the floor yeah dark alar in there
58:50
strangely just take some maybe take some n oil darken down the normal Elder don't
58:56
allow themselves to be caught yeah that's it um yeah no stealth
59:01
suits in there a shame or maybe they are maybe L um yeah so uh kill team took
59:10
ages to individually release the teams yeah uh like six months and then I think
59:15
bit and then there was a big suede of them released at the same time so it was like ah you've been storing them up and
59:21
yeah um maybe potentially um so yeah great cuz my my boy is now already
59:27
looking to have um wants to is saving up his pocket money to buy the release of the recer
59:35
crew yeah cuz he's already got the recer crew but he wants to release of the recer crew because that reca crew in the
59:41
orod deck can be two different teams oh right okay so it can be tank Busters and
59:47
something else is whatever they're call but they can be two different teams yeah so he wants to be able to make two
59:52
squads for for his orc Army but then also Al the fact then he's got all of
59:58
the options to blend to make a kill team that he like so he can do like a mixture of
1:00:04
rocket launchers and Hammers and stuff so so he's he's he's counting down the dayses for the release of that as well
1:00:09
so okay yeah yeah yeah yeah no that's good yeah um so yeah no like I guess
1:00:14
they yeah they uh they want people to play Creek so yeah they seem to be really po yeah I I was when they
1:00:20
announced their pre-orders over the weekend I was really surprised to see it was the rest of the cre or that quickly
1:00:26
for good on them I think uh especially if you know if you want if you're getting into them from scratch you want
1:00:32
to you know you want to be able to have if you want to certain things you want a production line paints have
1:00:38
an all of them there so you can crack on and get you know I think it's a good move yeah but that's uh yeah that's a I
1:00:45
think that's a good little um move forward to what they normally do of that big Wilderness gap between the phone box
1:00:52
so yeah good on them yeah oh have we got anything else yeah um we have uh the
1:00:59
news of Armon parade that people were very angry about yeah for a a relatively
1:01:05
short period of time and then there was some clarification interestingly I I didn't see the original announcement um
1:01:11
but I think people sort of it was interpreted or was sort of written that you couldn't do uh you couldn't kit bash
1:01:17
your armies yeah which I think is is is you know a lot of people love to do
1:01:22
especially because the amount of I I never know whether it's my b but the amount of people who do stormcast
1:01:28
Marines don't they they turn stormcast into Marines or or into inquisitors or
1:01:33
things like that and you know people quite keen on that and I think if you just shut that door I think it would have been a bit sad what would Pete do
1:01:40
yeah absolutely what would Pete do yeah I don't know if he end his army on parade anyway no um but there we go um
1:01:46
but his Raptor Army is kind of generally all sort of quite kit bashed in and everything isn't it so uh yeah was it I
1:01:53
I I didn't see the original announcement but I I saw the uh the update saying uh sorry uh you can kit bash you just can't
1:02:00
do Straight swaps yeah which which is fair I'm I'm all for that you know um I
1:02:06
think just going oh this guy is that and you go well he's not he's blatantly just a stormcast guy that you've painted to
1:02:11
look like a blood Angel yeah you know what I mean I I I do get that I do think this should some be some level of green
1:02:18
stuff and scalpel and saws involved in making a thing but I also think that
1:02:23
especially for the stormcast I think there is a wellth of stuff in there that makes really interesting looking Marines
1:02:28
you know yeah yeah yeah but um yeah and and it's always been the way that 40K
1:02:34
and I always know that you can't you're not allowed to touch anything from middle a I get that but it's always been
1:02:40
the way that age of Sigmar and or even old fantasy battle used to you know I
1:02:46
used to mine um I can't remember the name but I think they called some like miden heimers they were um a unit from
1:02:54
uh from from uh fantasy battle and I always used to use their heads cuz they had long hair and beards when I was a
1:03:01
space Wolf player would use a lot of that and they used to some of them used to have a little Medallion yeah which had a Running Wolf on them oh sweet so I
1:03:08
that would you know I'd buy them every now and again just to keep pumping up the the the space Wolf aesthetic so yeah
1:03:14
I think it' be a shame if they are gone no you know yeah I just think you know
1:03:19
you start leaving yourself with not if you want to do some really cool and crazy you start leaving yourself with
1:03:26
not a lot of options there but yeah but uh I know it was initially sort of
1:03:31
looked it's been sort of been mentioned that it's a backpedal but
1:03:36
I don't think it's a backpedal I think game game Games Workshop was just more of a clarification and said no we're not
1:03:42
saying you can't you just can't from what I understand of the situation which isn't a great deal uh I'm inclined to
1:03:48
say that but uh I'm happy to be proven wrong if anyone in the comments knows more than I do I think it just might
1:03:53
have just needed adjust a slightly better way I think or like if if there was a way that
1:03:59
it could be interpreted as the worst way possible then that yeah happened you
1:04:05
know your friend of M kiroy was like this is terrible and and and rightly so because
1:04:11
we've had Kyo on the show and he has makes some bizarre mad stuff out of age
1:04:17
of sigar that lives in the 40K world and vice versa and I think you know if
1:04:23
they'd have done that to looking just at him as a gone that would have been a real shame if he was entering that
1:04:29
because he really tips he really goes into all of the kits to get these really crazy nightmareish that he makes are
1:04:36
really amazingly designed but I think it would have been a shame if people like him were getting told no especially if
1:04:42
it going forward meant then it meant no in things like um tournaments and things like that but I'm glad that's been
1:04:49
clarified because it's uh it's been something they've been doing for time of memorium Dipping into other kids so yeah
1:04:55
yeah yeah definitely mostly oneway traffic mostly fantasy into 40K not a lot of 40K yeah 40 40K into fantasy
1:05:03
doesn't really work um understand stormcast with stormcast with chain
1:05:09
swords yes yeah oh that would be interesting isn't it yeah the other way around you be like yes I brought this
1:05:16
Bolter thank you Sigma I found it in a Dragon's Cave yeah
1:05:22
but yeah so no that's cool so I'm glad that got s though cuz and and it turned out to just be a bit of a stor and a
1:05:28
teacup which is good yeah yeah I feel it's been nipped in the bed yes right
1:05:33
then what else have we got or is that here have you got your uh we need to talk about our oh we do don't
1:05:39
we shot and get yeah oh oh he's actually got legs oh my God you've seen it here
1:05:47
first guys Jeff's legs legs enormous tree trunks of things see if I stand up I'm just the same height um yeah so I
1:05:55
have and you say you're going to put this on a t table so I've done a faux
1:06:00
boss librarian I don't know why I picked it it was just sitting there looking sad
1:06:05
and gray on a shelf so I thought we'll go with that I'm having a nightmare with it though because I managed to snap the
1:06:11
sword and I was too deep into the miniature so if you're looking at and you're going God that sword looks really
1:06:17
juny the sword is really junky but what I will do is after he's been seen I will
1:06:24
uh I'm lob the sword off and give him something that's a bit more Templar esque because these guys use the Templar
1:06:31
iconography even though they aren't Templars so I will change the sword later day so if you do look at and go that sword's really wonky and it's got a
1:06:37
Big Slice through it then yes it's knacked basically yeah he slightly slightly
1:06:44
droopy yeah do do I need to sword today um yeah Sensational I really like I've
1:06:51
never seen one with all of the cloth done as leather yeah well I just thought I know
1:06:58
it would looks cool because the idea he's fob boss and they are the sneaky guys that you do do them in the the you
1:07:03
know that the the official paint job and what most people do with them is do them as uh as camouflage but I just like the
1:07:09
idea that wizardy guy wearing leather yeah yeah like he does like with the
1:07:15
cloth um like underneath it it looks like he's uh like a bit more like
1:07:20
medieval yeah yeah and I just S I lean into that but yeah but yeah so he turned
1:07:25
out quite well quite pleased with him and I used me first thing off the uh off the trophy out the trophy box which is a
1:07:33
marine with his oh it is a marine oh it's a marine helmet with his face blasted in yeah yeah oh that's
1:07:39
interesting yeah he and it's uh is it a fellow librarian no it's just it was you
1:07:44
know what it was the first blue that I reached for it was more when I first put it on it was a much more electric
1:07:49
looking blue which was dead cool yeah but then the um the sounds of time and
1:07:55
what got the better of it and it's he looks a little bit like he's uh he might be an ultramarine or whatever I don't
1:08:01
know but uh yeah so I'm really trying what me game this year with regards to painting it's me really on me list of
1:08:07
things to do but uh and I'm quite I'm quite pleased with him um if you do when you do see it on if you do catch it when
1:08:13
it's on the uh on the T table um there's a decal on the red Purity
1:08:21
seal and that comes from lovely lovely sander being a separate shot of that I
1:08:26
don't know if being sand who is uh scumbag Customs the lovely Dutchman who lives in
1:08:33
Japan and he uh he does decals just right with to be able to get them onto a
1:08:39
uh onto a purity seal for those who are of a gamy handed nature like me when it comes to painting that's incredible like
1:08:46
having all of that fine detail that's on there it's it's awesome yeah yeah yeah yeah so uh check him out he does lots of
1:08:53
good uh decals and lots of good if you can't find what you're looking for just drop him a message and he might
1:08:59
be able to help yeah yeah he's a good guy to what it's like actually it's
1:09:05
really hard to get into all the bits of the Bas yes yeah what a pain in the butt
1:09:11
yeah um CU did you glue him on before you started painting yes of course I did
1:09:16
yeah because I never I never never think K threw an advance course yeah yeah what a challenge um so
1:09:25
what have you got so I mean I've I've um we're going to see these in their own show anyway yeah if I was hold holding
1:09:31
myself to your standard of uh of i' like I'd hoped I could get them finished uh by the end of January but I have alas uh
1:09:38
failed these are the space bring kill team from the starter set a few of them
1:09:45
are without uh heads um because I thought I would paint some faces uh I
1:09:51
did do a Faces video please watch it it's not performing very well um
1:09:56
sad face yes um so I'm following um a PDF that I bought from the mighty brush
1:10:04
uh who do does lovely decals loads of decals and transfers and and great PDF
1:10:09
decals and transfers same thing uh but he does PDF tutorials and I really like
1:10:15
his style it's quite um in the initial stages it's quite airbrush heavy yeah um
1:10:21
and he's uh he's a monster at airbrushing um and I thought I'd give it a try um yeah
1:10:29
and I'm quite enjoying it so far um I sort of I've been staring at them quite a lot for a long time so I am just sort
1:10:36
of like I don't know if they're good or not anymore well I when you showed me
1:10:42
them when when we when I came in today I was blown away by them and as I said to you and I'm still holding to it I think
1:10:48
personally they are the best thing I've seen you do so far in our in our friendship over the last few years I
1:10:54
think they're really really strong and that's a testament to Mighty brush being
1:11:00
able to put a good a good um instructional guy together and also your painting man because I think they are
1:11:06
really good I think you've done a banging job with them personally yeah really do thank you very much yeah it's
1:11:12
been really good fun um oh I've just SE a sploded on his backpack um yeah left
1:11:18
to do kind of I need to highlight all the metallics the cloth uh I need to figure out I mean the
1:11:25
wonderful thing about these is cuz they're push fit you can just like oh Pop the backpack off and then and then I
1:11:32
can just get in there a bit easier but also the downside of that is because I'm pulling stuff on and off like the
1:11:38
airbrush primer that I used isn't um like it's it's quite soft it's so
1:11:45
easy to scrape off so yeah I've done it a couple of times with because you know I've been doing a little bit more um airbrushing of late I've done it a
1:11:51
couple of times where I've been looking at Miniatures and then realize I've had me fingers leaning on it and I've just pulled the yeah the
1:11:57
annoying thing about these uh which I raved about in the Box um is because they're blue plastic you can just play
1:12:03
immediately yeah um but then cuz I'm painting them green um and then you keep
1:12:09
spotting bit of blue and I'm like oh if it was if yeah if it was black or gray or whatever it um a bit easier but the
1:12:15
blue is mega mega obvious well you're not you're not um you're not out of you're out of the woods to some degree
1:12:20
because I think I'm actually have come in with him a probably a week
1:12:26
I think cuz our first show back after Christmas that went when it went out was probably nearly the middle middle of
1:12:31
January the middle of January if we can do it month by month that yeah if we can get it to the end of each month would
1:12:38
probably be better and uh yeah yeah it is Monday the 3rd of February yeah so
1:12:43
I've got I've got to get something in then for uh I've got to get something something for Monday the oh I won't get
1:12:49
well I can bring him in Tommy yeah I can bring him in but then it'd be awful going got an extra week and I go
1:12:55
with Tommy and bring him in on show and I painted this sorry Tommy but Tommy
1:13:01
would be so nice not a [ __ ] painter um and then uh you're not a [ __ ] painter
1:13:07
you've just got a lot left to
1:13:12
laugh um but yes I'm thoroughly enjoying painting these guys um and it's quite
1:13:19
fun just doing like a little team yeah and I said to you I you know I could near enough build I don't think I own a
1:13:26
I don't think my for my son's Army I don't think I own a captain with a powerfist funly enough but I could
1:13:32
virtually build that yes um but I would like to buy buy that hopefully that
1:13:37
comes out in a kill Team box as well which I think it probably will do uh I'd like to just buy that and just massively
1:13:44
not painting paint anything that's remotely the colors of my son's Army maybe have a go Raptors myself or um
1:13:52
lately I don't know what it is I keep getting a little bit drawn over to uh
1:13:57
Imperial fists and I don't know why but I've got to be honest poster starties too I'm quite liking sides of the
1:14:03
emperor those those do seem to be the ones that people have latched on to like the guy with the cape like coing around
1:14:10
and the um Suns of Medusa are really cool as well that lime almost like a lime green and white helmet looks cool
1:14:16
yeah the only problem with them is I'm a sucker for wanting to have the the right
1:14:22
decal on a shoulder pad and I can't paint that that almost like spiky Cog thing with a it's so yeah it might be I
1:14:31
think I could maybe paint a SC freehand a little bit more of a chance of doing two of them than I have of doing a a cog
1:14:38
a cog B well it's not a cog but like a star badge with a skull in the middle of it yeah but I would like to do it um I
1:14:44
would like to do a space mean uh kill team that is not connected to anything I've got already cuz they are so good
1:14:51
man you've done such a good job with them thank you um impressed yeah I like I keep thinking that they're like cuz
1:14:58
they've had a wash of uh streaking winter streaking Grime oh Christ didn't even know that was the thing yeah yeah
1:15:03
so and it's I think it's quite like a green um greeny Brown wash so it fits
1:15:10
ties in really nicely with the color it's quite it's quite funny because they do look quite before you put the wash on they look quite anemic yeah um like they
1:15:17
really need that they need shadows and and highlights essentially but um I was
1:15:23
worried that they're kind of knocked down a bit too much or like you can't
1:15:29
quite see cuz I really thought I'd over highlighted them with the airbrush yeah
1:15:34
uh and then gone a bit too too hard with the Shadows I've had a bit of a mare with my airbrush there's a bit of
1:15:41
something in there somewhere that I can't find and then just um airbrushing is great there's a link in the
1:15:47
description you should definitely buy one um and um and and yeah so so I I was a
1:15:54
bit like uh I don't know and then now put the wash on like seeing how much it's knocked it back I'm like all right
1:16:00
yeah um and then I'm worried it's too much um like it's again like yeah I'm I
1:16:07
just overthink all these things I'm like did I did I over highlight it did I put
1:16:13
too much in the shadows or did I wash it too much did I take off too much streaking Grime did I not take off
1:16:18
enough streaking Grime but then you've just come in and gone they look great I'm like okay cool yeah did I'm really I
1:16:25
really really love them I actually have a little bit of I've actually got a little bit of rap the fomo now looking at them cuz they are really cool yeah
1:16:32
I'm very impressed the uh and I used liquid mask for the first time oh yeah how did that go yeah it was really fun
1:16:38
um like it uh I can't remember where I put the bottle but you just use it like
1:16:43
paint like make sure you use an old crappy brush cuz it starts to dry in the bristles like dead quick not a brand new
1:16:49
arst so size three then yeah yeah know size size five daring
1:16:55
however much they are they're not cheap but they're very good um yeah and you
1:17:00
have to kind of re as precise as you can be like definitely put it on with a brush if it has a point even better but
1:17:05
if it doesn't fine um I sort of put one layer on I could still see a little bit color so put another one on um and no no
1:17:15
bleeding through like at all I think one of these um that is yeah where I I just
1:17:23
went in with my fingernail and and try to get in at the edge um there's a little bit of blue poking through that
1:17:30
shoulder pad there and then there's oh just just there's quite a lot on that
1:17:36
one which I think I'll turn into a rust streak or something Rak or just got a little bit of um tiny little bit of uh
1:17:43
rhin oxide on a sponge or something like that just just break the P up a bit yeah yes cuz I've kind of like highlighting
1:17:49
them up but I need to I need to put in like the darker color for the chips under under the bigger chips and stuff like that so um but yeah quite happy
1:17:56
with how they going yeah looking forward to seeing the video on them man cuz I think you've done I think you've done a banging job on them they turned out
1:18:01
really really well and you'll get to see see them what will be to you in only a
1:18:07
few minutes on the uh on a turntable yeah and yeah I think it's when I get the bases done that'll be when they sort
1:18:13
of look CU every everything all the bases are kind of like greeny blue and then like you need that differentiation
1:18:21
off the base don't every everyone does red bases with Raptors so um yeah yeah and hopefully inspire you to
1:18:27
do the same of uh come on knock out knock out a team or a kill team or knock
1:18:32
out a unit or a character one a month yes keep us in the loop let us know what you've done cuz uh I think if we all
1:18:39
sort of have each other's back we might actually give that pile of Shame a bit of a dent not you not you you you your
1:18:47
pile of Shame is going to outlive you even if you paint every day for the rest life I'm going to sell so much of it
1:18:52
you've got about 40,000 points Of Orcs you're yes yeah I am about yeah um yes
1:18:59
so um yeah quite quite happy with how it's going hopefully Terminators next month oh yes I was going to ask you what
1:19:05
you hopefully Terminators will probably be next month and also because it's a little bit of a cheat and maybe I would
1:19:11
be cheating a bit too much is I've got um three uh eradicators sitting there oh
1:19:18
right and there are unit and threes um no the big MS yeah are they in
1:19:25
threes or something I can't remember so they're in a tiny little Squad so yes are they eliminators they
1:19:31
are Eliminator eliminators and then because they eliminate things whereas the eradicators erad things not to uh
1:19:39
not not to get their jobs mixed up cuz that you wouldn't want to be eliminating stuff when you should be eradicating yeah can imagine like he gets like a
1:19:45
head shot in 40K probably like from 10 miles away and then it's just like Target eliminated and You' be like no we
1:19:51
wanted him eradicate now you me yeah oh should have brought the should have brought the last car
1:19:57
by damn right then have we anything else um I think we you looked at some necr
1:20:03
stuff and you were like w oh yeah necr if if you if you're behind on it just go
1:20:09
into warcom and find the necromunda pre-releases of what's come uh what's
1:20:15
coming out it just seems to get more mental every month but brilliantly more
1:20:21
mental some of the releases for necromunda at the moment I I just do you know I know people have
1:20:27
said it and you know going back over the same old moans that it feels a little bit like at the moment 40K all the
1:20:34
imagination is in other parts of the company you know over at age of Sigma which is knocking out some amazing stuff
1:20:39
and that other game but what is it is it underworld yeah we were looking before
1:20:44
laughing our asses off at two goblins wearing the skin of a Squig yes which yeah they were like is it CU it
1:20:52
just reminds me of like it's is it two kids in trench coat yeah three kids in the trench coat yeah yeah and it was
1:20:58
just like that it just thought you know again all of the imagination seems to be scattered the cross Games Workshop at
1:21:03
the moment and yeah maybe 40K needs to arange some of that back to them but some of the mental stuff for NEC rund is
1:21:09
just absolutely bong even if you've no interested in necromunda just go and have a look at the Miniatures at the
1:21:15
moment because they are just even just on a Fascination level just really really out there yeah yeah I don't know
1:21:22
what um I think what's happened is the necro gang have found that field full of
1:21:27
magic mushrooms at the AOS gang have already have already been choing through for the last two years yes yeah yeah
1:21:34
they gave them yeah they stalked them there like like guys if we need to make great Miniatures we need to
1:21:41
follow um I wonder why we're not on the affiliate program I wonder why because we're talk about the fact all the all
1:21:48
the sculpts of Games Workshop magic mus that could be why they've knock on yeah
1:21:53
it's 100% a fact there's no allegedly this happened this is exactly well we're
1:21:59
going to lean into it might as well go for but yeah like following them like a like a police they're like right no we
1:22:05
need to stay two cars back he's turned left he down the tram tracks he just go they've got into
1:22:11
shwood Forest yes but um yeah so um yeah
1:22:17
if you just fancy if you if you're not if you have been keeping a breast of it and you just want to go and have a look at some really weird and wonderful stuff
1:22:22
go and have a look at the necrom stuff that's coming out over the next few months it is brilliantly bizarre yeah
1:22:30
the worm oh the the mechanical wor with a human arm hanging out the front of it
1:22:35
is suitably grim yes but the thing I love about that as well is that it's really haven't seen it in I think it
1:22:43
turns up in the Dak rule book for necromunda um it's very close to the the
1:22:49
image that's been done and and and also the um the two
1:22:55
cybernetic uh sort of Japanese gisha style characters yes they look very very
1:23:01
similar to what in NEC in the necr book as well like you could literally name anything in that article and I'd go oh
1:23:08
yeah that was really cool yeah so to sum up Neer oh yeah it's really Co cool yeah
1:23:13
it really really is cool at the moment yeah yeah so uh yeah oh and the the um
1:23:18
uh the last chat we did uh with the two of us uh where we were looking at the releases from Avio and I was at the um
1:23:25
so black grave Lords and I was like you know what I I think this is it yeah uh I saw quite like quite a few comments
1:23:31
going yes come over to the model rails um which and leave him alone he's busy
1:23:37
no it's quite funny cuz cuz um I mean yeah Christ um like everyone was just so
1:23:43
nice about it as well they were like oh mate like we're having a party over here come on come on um and interesting thing
1:23:48
was they're talking about the points cost in that the points for everything is is quite High know how to have m
1:23:55
loads and loads of armies cuz the death core of cre starter box quite a lot of people have been talking about that it's under 500 points oh so it's basically uh
1:24:02
it's almost combat Patrol which is they generally seem to well yeah the two that I've checked of combat Patrol seem to be
1:24:08
they both 430 Points each I don't know if that's okay pretty much to go and rate but I think it's probably about
1:24:14
it's something around that um like I mean um yeah I've seen a few people
1:24:20
paintting the Box um I think Mikey painted um painted and said I'm going to paint an Army and the top comment is
1:24:27
like Army is a bit of a stretch oh we've been there yeah yeah so um yeah when
1:24:32
Chris painted the uh the cadians yeah so um and we had all those comments and stuff and and as well but but really if
1:24:40
you had to have four of those boxes yeah to make the recommended size of an army um you'd be busy wouldn't you yeah
1:24:47
really busy lot ofse poop yes absolutely um yeah so um
1:24:54
yeah yeah I that's another interesting thing as well so I'm either cu the the
1:25:00
Gloom spy gits the the the cool dudes on the Wolves double tactical rock yeah
1:25:06
double tactical Rock a winner they were for at the time of recording they for pre-order like now yes um I need to have
1:25:13
a look at the Box CU I need I need to figure out which way I'm leaning because it's either GL GS or so B gr BLS both
1:25:18
really great aren't they yes um I think I so BL grave LS would be easier to paint yeah yeah I think they probably
1:25:26
would to be fair like bone and metal but then again you know what if you're doing wolves once you get your dry brushing
1:25:32
down that's a very good point uh so vote vote in the comments how Pat should
1:25:39
spend spend what little money he's got left how he should spend yes absolutely
1:25:44
um yes I may lose my house but I'm going to start AOS yeah um I'm sure the other
1:25:50
half would completely understand that absolutely but I've never played AE of Sigma love yeah okay I'm probably not
1:25:56
even really going to play it um yeah I just want to paint it I've never played it just think as the sleeping B goes
1:26:03
onto the Railway Bridge oh god oh oh you know tomorrow I'm have to try and find
1:26:09
some new cardboards yeah Nottingham does have
1:26:14
lots of great homeless Charities though it does indeed and lots of good Railway
1:26:22
Bridges thanks for watching yeah so we'll go out on there we'll go out on the turntable and hope you like
1:26:29
them be kind oh and then someone else said um we uh we said oh like what how
1:26:36
do how do people listen to this yes like if you're driving if you're doing this and someone said uh I have you on my
1:26:42
second monitor at work a um so if you are listening to this or watching it on
1:26:48
your second monitor at work get back to work yeah your boss your boss is coming
1:26:53
I can see him he's just been he's coming back with a coffee quick yes yeah yeah oh quick turn around they're behind you
1:26:59
uh no no you shouldn't be having breaks you shouldn't be enjoying yourself make that corporate Overlord that doesn't pay
1:27:04
any tax loads of money that's right absolutely no thank you for for wasting their company time if you're looking
1:27:10
like if you're looking at the screen now or now okay uh thank you for watching and
1:27:16
listening uh thank you very much to the patreons thank you and thank you uh if this first time first time watching us
1:27:23
where have you been but also like subscribe ring that bell all of that
1:27:28
sorts of stuff all the YouTube things all the YouTu things that I'm too old to quite get me head round but please do
1:27:34
them it'd be right yeah uh absolutely Sensational bye everyone byebye
