Biden Makes Biggest Mistake Yet - This Could Be It For Him

in a big way thanks to Corrine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary

She really threw President Joe Biden under the bus and well, it's kind of funny, but it's also kind of sad

So, Corrine Jean-Pierre had to answer a question. The question was, Joe Biden put out a press release on the untimely passing of former New Mexico governor

and former ambassador Bill Richardson, a Democrat. Now, I don't know how many of you guys know about Bill Richardson

Yes, he was a Democrat, but he was a great statesman, great governor

He's helped free a lot of hostages. May he rest in peace. He was actually a great man

Politics aside, he was a great man. And President Joe Biden honored him with a statement

And in that statement, he sent condolences to Richardson's wife and he also sent condolences to Richardson's daughter, Heather

There was just one problem with that. Richardson doesn't have a daughter named Heather

In fact, he doesn't have a daughter at all. When Corrine Jean-Pierre explained it, well, you got to hear this

I have another question about fact checking here at the White House. The initial statement from the president about the passing of governor Bill Richardson

included condolences for his wife of 50 years, Barbara, and their daughter, Heather

That line about Heather, the daughter has been removed because they didn't have a daughter named Heather for daughter

Can you walk us through how these press releases are fact checked

Who signs off on them in the end? And then in this case, how this error was made

We apologize for the error, certainly. That is not something that we want to do

We want to make sure that we get this information out clearly

and in a straightforward way to the American people. That was not done intentionally

And certainly when we realized that error, it was removed from the website

We do have fact checkers here. We do have multiple people who take a look at the press releases

especially from the president. This was just a miss, unfortunately, and we apologize for that miss

So there are multiple fact checkers checking every word the president says

And first of all, and you missed this? But even that being said, the president of the United States

needs multiple fact checkers and extra scrutiny? Is that what you're telling us, Ms. Jumpier

That's a heck of a revelation. That is a startling revelation. The leader of the free world can't check his own facts

and needs to have his stuff basically looked at with a fine tooth comb? Wow

That's a frightening thought for the man carrying a nuclear football when he's supposed to be the leader of the free world

But yeah, sure. Let's go ahead and give him another 10 years in office, right
