Bye bye Jim.

Hey everybody, welcome to Explain America. I'm your host, Carmine Sabia, and we have an
0:04
awesome story for you today if you don't like Jim Acosta. But before we get started
0:10
please make sure you hit that like button, hit that share button, leave us a comment
0:14
and if you're on YouTube or Rumble, absolutely smash that subscribe button. Those little things
0:20
really help us out and help our channel grow. They're super important and we really hope you
0:24
do that for us. So earlier in the week, John Nacogia said that there was a name that was
0:29
going to be dismissed from CNN. He said that this person did not fit with the new CNN
0:34
the new middle-of-the-road CNN. And you know, there's been a lot of talk about CNN as they let
0:39
Brian Stelter go, they let several other talents go, they moved Don Lemon to the daytime, Jake
0:45
Tapper to the evening. There's been a lot of talk that CNN is moving more to the center, which I
0:51
think is a good thing for everybody. You know, you got, you know, skewed politics on the right
0:56
you got skewed politics on the left, but it would be good if there is a major network that just
1:02
tells you the facts, you know, the way it used to be. You guys are all smart enough to make up your
1:07
own minds. I'm smart enough to make up my own mind. We don't need anybody telling us our opinions
1:11
right? So to have a network that at least we could turn to sometimes to get the news that's just
1:18
straight, just straight fact, you know, old Walter Cronkite days, that would be a great thing
1:24
Well, to that end, you guys remember Jim Acosta was a huge thorn in the side of the Trump
1:29
administration. It seemed like he used every white house press briefing to put the attention on
1:34
himself and try and make himself a star. And he succeeded. He got his own weekend show that he
1:39
hosts on Saturdays and Sundays, and he still takes aim at president Trump, even though the man has
1:44
not been in the white house for two years. Well, Nicosia said that he knew somebody was leaving
1:50
CNN, but he couldn't say who until this weekend. Well, the weekend has come and he's revealed that
1:56
name to be Jim Acosta. Now Nicosia was correct about the demise of CNN plus he was correct from
2:03
inside sources about the departure of Brian Stelter. See, he was the former editor of media
2:09
He has a lot of connections and a lot of sources. So there's no guarantee. And he can't, you know
2:14
we can't say for a hundred percent fact that Acosta is definitely gone. But what we're saying
2:20
is judging by Nicosia's track record and what we're seeing and the new direction of CNN
2:27
it seems like a pretty solid prediction. He's saying he's hearing it from Warner
2:32
Brothers discovery sources. So I have no reason to doubt him, but of course
2:37
until the report is official, it's not official. So we have to take it with a grain of salt
2:42
That's just journalism 101. But I think, like I said, it would be a good thing for, you know
2:48
even every major network, they get just a little more towards the middle. We're so divided these
2:53
days. And I think if people realize that we're 95% the same, and there's like this 5% that
2:59
separates us that we focus on so much, I think the world and the country would be stronger for it
3:05
So of course we hold certain things very close to us as conservatives
3:10
And we want to hear those opinions as well. So there's a place for that, but there's also a
3:14
place for some straight news. And I'd like to see that come back. Hey folks, thank you for
3:18
joining us here today to explain America. Again, I'm your host, Carmine Sabia. Please remember to
3:23
like, to share, to smash the subscribe button if you're on Rumble or YouTube. And really importantly
3:29
today, I want your thoughts on this particular story. Do you want to see Acosta gone? Would you
3:34
welcome a more neutral CNN? Would you watch a more neutral CNN? Are there other people at CNN
3:40
or any other network that you'd like to see gone? Let us know in the comments. We really love to
3:45
read them. God bless you guys. Thank you for watching. Take care, everybody
