Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and former President
0:04
Donald Trump has gotten some bad news from the New York Police Department
0:09
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
Trump has had, I think we can easily say, had a really rough time in New York
0:28
He was found liable in the E. Jean Carroll case. I could not disagree with that verdict more
0:36
I think it was a horrible verdict. I think you saw the statute of limitations extended in the state for the particular purpose
0:43
of getting Trump in this case. That was the whole purpose of extending that statute of limitations
0:48
Interestingly enough, one of the people who championed for it to be extended is now getting
0:53
hit with old allegations that would have been beyond the statute of limitations had
0:58
it not been passed. And now he's crying foul that it's unconstitutional to extend the statute of limitations after
1:05
he worked to get it extended to get Trump. You got to love the irony in that
1:10
You know, it's kind of cosmic, isn't it? Be that as it may
1:14
You then saw Trump in the Letitia James case being held liable for an insane amount of
1:20
money. An insane amount of money for bookkeeping. For a bookkeeping quote-unquote, it's not even a crime, it's a civil case
1:30
And then of course there was the Alvin Bragg case. The Alvin Bragg paper mache case, I like to call it, where he just patched some things
1:37
together to take a misdemeanor from 2015 and somehow worked that into 34 felony counts
1:46
in 2024 and then take it to a judge whose daughter works for Democrat campaigns and
1:52
who himself has donated to the Biden campaign and anti-Republican campaigns with a New York
1:57
City jury and get 34 felony convictions. Well the punishment for Trump as far as sentencing, that's not going to be known till, well, July
2:09
But punishment for him for being a convicted felon, that's starting, well, now
2:18
According to reports, the New York City Police Department will not renew Trump's license
2:23
to carry a firearm and will confiscate his firearm if he has it
2:28
That's the action the New York Police Department is taking now. They're taking the Second Amendment rights away from former President Trump
2:37
But fortunately, Trump likely still can get a firearms license in the free state of Florida
2:44
where Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in charge. So as you know, again, this is part of the whole, you know, it sounds good on paper that
2:56
felons can't carry a firearm until you realize what some felonies actually are
3:01
And you're like, why can't that guy carry a firearm? You know, it starts to not make sense when you look at cases individually
3:07
And I think as a person who believes in the Second Amendment, this is part of the problem
3:13
And I'll take it to the Hunter Biden trial too. He's on trial for getting a gun while supposedly being on drugs and lying on the form
3:23
Okay, he lied on the form. But doesn't he have a right to own a firearm as an American
3:30
No matter what you think of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, this is really a Second Amendment case
3:35
And they got a lot of conservatives cheering for, let's get Hunter Biden, right
3:40
But what you're really cheering for is a case that assaults the Second Amendment
3:46
That is deeply concerning. So don't be tricked. Don't be tricked into supporting something you don't really support
3:54
I urge you to take a long look at it because it results in cases like what just happened
3:58
to former President Donald Trump. I do want to know what you think about all these cases in the comments, including the
4:04
Hunter Biden case. Please let me know. As always, please remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe

We love you guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody
