DA Makes Embarrassing Admission — Trump Case Takes Turn

New York District Attorney Alvin Bragg ain't got nothing to brag about right now folks

now What I'm talking about here is Alvin Bragg is running scared from

The Republican majority in Congress see the House Judiciary Committee which does have

Standing in jurisdiction over the judiciary has sent a request to mr. Bragg

Whereas they want him to Well, they want him to appear before Congress and explain

What reasons he has for launching his investigation into Donald Trump because they want to make sure it's not based purely on partisan politics

You know why would they think that I mean here you have a DA who says he's not gonna prosecute certain

Robberies he's not gonna prosecute certain crimes. He's letting criminals go who assault police officers

he's not pressing charges on serial thieves and shoplifters, but But you know an error by by Donald Trump or a misunderstanding or a clerical error or we want to describe it

That's priority number one for mr. Bragg now gee I wonder if

gosh, I wonder if Maybe his political future might be on his mind

Maybe running for governor of New York might be on his mind because you know

If you win a primary in New York as a Democrat, you're all but assured to be the governor. I

digress the Republicans have called him out and Bragg is backing off back Bragg has released a statement from his from his

Spokesperson saying they have no jurisdiction here, and they can't believe they're impeding on a local investigation

But you know the Republicans are firing back They're saying hey, this is about the leading candidate for president of the United States of the Republican Party

We want to make sure that everything is legitimate They have a reasonable concern so he knows they do and so he's saying now well

he respects them and he respects the the branch of government, so

He would like to have a meeting a private meeting not in public where people could see it a

Private meeting to discuss whether or not they have jurisdiction in this case. It's absolute absurdity

It is absurdity. Where was Donald Trump's private meeting? Where was anybody's private meeting to see if you have a jurisdiction in a seven-year-old case about a campaign finance violation

How is that a local New York crime if anything? It's a campaign finance violation

What does it have to do with Alvin Bragg and New York City? Nothing as far as I'm concerned and a lot of legal scholars are concerned

This was this case is all about in my opinion Alvin Bragg and his political career and Donald Trump and his political career

It is about those two things make no mistake about it the Republicans in Congress know it and now Bragg is running scared

But he's gonna have to face this at some point even if they have to subpoena him

And he's not gonna have much of a choice. So you enjoy that Bragg

Maybe that's why you haven't talked to the grand jury about Donald Trump all week

Maybe that's why the indictment that was supposed to happen this week never happened. Maybe that's why now you're talking about

Oh, maybe next week the grand jury will meet and maybe now you're starting to realize that you're not as big and bad as you
