Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and it looks like we now have
0:05
straight from the horse's mouth the Biden team's election campaign strategy. Before we get started please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe
0:14
Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
So somebody who works on Joe Biden's team was on MSNBC and they said something very telling
0:25
You see Biden is what we call a human gaffe machine. He continuously makes mistakes. It's
0:31
not just his stutter. I have sympathy for that. Some people have a stutter. I have friends
0:36
that have a stutter. It's not the stutter. My friends are intelligent people. You have a
0:40
stutter. You have a stutter. That's no big deal. It's that Biden continuously makes mistakes
0:45
That's not a stutter. That's making mistakes. Then sometimes the longer Biden talks the more
0:52
lies he tells. You know like about his uncle getting eaten by cannibals in New Guinea or the
0:58
fact that he keeps pretending he was a college professor when he was not. Yes he had a quote
1:03
unquote honorary position but he got paid to make speeches. That was his college professorship
1:09
He talks like he was a teacher in the day-to-day grind. He wasn't. So he lies a lot and what this
1:16
campaign advisor said is what they're going to do and I'm surprised they're actually admitting it
1:21
They're going to cut his speeches shorter because as they said sometimes quality is better than
1:26
quantity. Yeah especially when you have a guy who may be senile who may have dementia. I'm not saying
1:33
he does. I'm not a doctor. Giving speeches. I wouldn't say now 147 years. No he's 81. He's
1:39
81 years old. Yeah I mean you know look none of us are going to be as sharp as we were in our 40s
1:46
and 50s when we're in our 80s. It's just life. It's just life. There's nothing wrong with that
1:50
That's life but you don't want that running the country. I want you to take a listen to what he
1:55
said and tell me what you think of this plan. You know the Hyde and Biden plan. They did it in 2020
2:00
Let me know what you think about it. Of course as always you can let me know about it when you
2:05
like, comment, share, and subscribe. I'm Carmine Savia for Explain America. We love you guys
2:11
God bless you. Take care everybody. So as you're expanding the argument we have new this morning
2:18
from NBC News that the campaign is looking to shorten its speeches. Biden's general election
2:24
strategy is less is more. The president's aides are seeking to tighten his pitch to voters with
2:29
shorter crisper speeches. To be honest with you, I think that's a very smart idea. For everyone
2:37
For everyone. And I really I appreciate that approach because it is a way for the president
2:44
to sort of hit with clarity, stick his points, and move on and not get lost and sidetracked
2:51
Give us a little bit more of the scene setting around the thinking there and trying to
2:56
reimagine the campaign going forward with what you just said and this idea now of the president
3:02
tightening his grip on his speeches. Look, our campaign believes in quality over quantity
3:09
We believe that these touches, these smaller things that are getting directly to the point
3:13
about what is going on in the stakes of this election are going to be easier for voters to
3:18
tap into and sort of also go out and say and talk to their friends and family about what's at stake
3:23
And I think that those are some simple things that we can say. Donald Trump is directly responsible
3:27
for the fact that one in three women in this country of reproductive age are living under
3:31
national abortion ban. Donald Trump wants to destroy health care and rip away social security
3:36
and Medicare. We've got to remove the clutter. Voters are tuning in and we've got to get directly
3:40
to the point. Donald Trump wants to be a dictator on day one and he's saying that he's proud and
3:44
that most people like that. We have to just remove all of the clutter and get it directly to the
3:48
message to make it easy for voters to follow, understand, go out and communicate. And that's
3:53
what we're doing in our field offices around the country. And that's what we're going to continue to do with our principals as we send them out over the country
