Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:24
Now, details are sketchy at the moment about what happened. Some reports are indicating the call about the missing person came from inside the Obama estate
0:34
Others are saying just from someone on the island, and we just don't know right now
0:38
What we do know is that the body of the missing paddle boarder, an African-American male in his 40s
0:46
was found either on the property of former President Obama, or near the property, or water in front of the property
0:53
of former President Obama's Martha's Vineyard estate. Now, Martha's Vineyard is a big place, and this is a tragic situation
1:01
We do not know if the Obama's were home on Martha's Vineyard at the time of this incident
1:06
A lot is still developing, but I want you to watch the official report from Fox News
1:11
Breaking right now, police in Massachusetts say the body of a missing paddle boarder
1:17
has turned up off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, not far from the sprawling estate of former President Obama
1:23
where reportedly the initial 911 call was made about a man who had disappeared paddle boarding out in the water
1:31
Alexis McAdams following this breaking story for us from New York as we continue to get new details on this
1:37
Hi, Alexis. Hi, Martha. That's right. We know from this dispatch call that the address matches up to former President Barack Obama's home
1:43
out on Martha's Vineyard, which we'll get to in a second. But police got this 911 call from someone out on the island. We haven't heard exactly who yet
1:51
Rescue crews Martha really jumped into action rather to help, but it was too late. Listen
1:57
Control to Edgartown Fire and Water Rescue personnel. Echo 90 in an echo unit
2:02
Responding to a call for a 40-year-old male, possibly drowning. Unit, do you acknowledge
2:08
So that was the address there that was bleeped out. Here's what we do know. Police in Edgartown, Massachusetts tell us a 43-year-old African-American man was out paddle boarding Sunday night
2:17
As you heard, Martha, he was reportedly on the water without a life vest, but another paddle boarder who was out on the water told authorities that this guy was really struggling
2:25
then went under, and he never came back up to the surface there in that pond
2:29
It happened just before 8 o'clock p.m. out on Turkey Land Cove. That's near President Barack Obama's estate on Martha's Vineyard
2:35
You can see it there. A multimillion-dollar property. Divers made the recovery using side-scan sonar from one of their rescue boats
2:42
Again, this is still breaking news, and we're going to have more details on it, hopefully, in coming days
2:48
And, you know, just stay with us. Right now, you know, nothing to see here, I guess, folks
2:54
You know, I got to be very careful what I say. A 40-something-year-old black male on Martha's Vineyard
3:01
drowning in the water. It's interesting. And, you know, listen, right now our thoughts and prayers go out to that man's family
3:13
Just an absolute tragedy, and just sad. And I really want to get the details of what happened here
3:20
And it's just, again, just tragic. I would say to please keep this young man and his family in your prayers tonight
3:29
And, you know, just pray for the best for their family. This is a tragic time they're going through
3:33
Unfortunately, this is all the information we have right now on the situation
3:37
But as soon as we have more, we will bring it to you here at Explain America
3:41
Again, I want to ask you to like, share, and subscribe. And I want you to leave your comments about what you think is going on here on this video
