Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and you know
0:04
one of the hardest parts of doing videos sometimes and doing stories is finding the right
0:09
headlines to capture what the story entails, to encapsulate that in less than a sentence really
0:17
And then sometimes, sometimes headlines write themselves. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe
0:26
Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow. I'm sorry I'm laughing already. The breaking news here is that
0:36
a member of Joe Biden's administration, one of the heads of the TSA, you know the TSA when you
0:43
go to the airport and they give you a pat down and examine your whole body
0:47
x-ray vision, check your shoes, all that stuff, you know that TSA? The head or one of the heads of that organization was ironically arrested at an airport when she
0:59
got off her flight in Georgia by Customs and Border Patrol. But that's not even the hilarious
1:06
part. The hilarious part, and if you've seen, you've already seen the headline
1:11
Biden administration official arrested, accused of taking advantage of a dementia patient
1:17
What? We got to arrest the whole Biden administration if that's the case. When I first saw that, I'm like, they're finally arresting these people for taking
1:25
advantage of a dementia patient? Of course I'm kidding. I don't know any conditions anybody has
1:31
I'm not a doctor. I'm certainly not the president's doctor. But when I saw that headline
1:37
I just, it just smacked me like, Biden administration official takes advantage
1:42
of a dementia patient. But yeah, they're all taking advantage of a dementia patient. The
1:47
whole world is taking advantage of a dementia patient. But this particular woman, she took
1:52
advantage of a dementia patient in her own family, according to Port St. Lucie police
1:57
who actually issued the original warrant. And what they said was that she got the family member who
2:05
suffers from dementia to sign a quitclaim deed to their home over to her and her partner
2:11
And that the quitclaim deed was signed, but it was like, you know, obviously a person with
2:17
dementia can't do that. They're not of sound mind and body. And they also said that the person who
2:22
was on the deed with her, who I believe is her brother, he wasn't even there. He wasn't even in
2:28
the state when the signing happened. So he couldn't have signed it. So his signature had to be forged
2:35
So there's, there's forgery charges on this and there's all kinds of charges that she's actually
2:41
being hit with. I just, you know, like I said, when I saw Biden administration official takes
2:45
advantage of dementia patient, I was like, yeah, yeah, that's about right. But I want you guys to
2:51
hear it. So it was on the local news in Port St. Lucie. I believe it'll probably make national
2:55
news next week. But I want you to take a look at this. This is not the first person, by the way
2:59
in the Biden administration that's been arrested at an airport. You all remember Sam Brinton
3:04
He got arrested for stealing someone's luggage and stealing clothes out of the luggage. That was a gender fluid guy. It was in the energy department
3:12
Forgive me. I said, guy, I don't, I don't know what gender he identifies as today. So I don't
3:18
think he ever gave his proper pronouns. So I don't know what to call him. I just call him Sammy
3:24
because that's his name. So Sammy got arrested for that and had to pay restitution. This case
3:30
is a little different. I'm going to let you watch the news report and I want to let I want you guys
3:34
to let me know what you think in the comments. Also, again, please remember to like, share and
3:38
subscribe. It really helps us out. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explain America. We love you guys
3:45
God bless you. Take care, everybody. Another big story we're following right now
3:48
a federal TSA assistant director now in jail on a Port St. Lucie arrest warrant
3:53
She's accused of exploiting an elderly family member with dementia. Port St. Lucie police say
3:58
U.S. Customs and Border Protection detained Maxine McMahon after she arrived in Atlanta from
4:04
an international flight. They say she forged a quitclaim deed for an elderly relative living in
4:10
Port St. Lucie who has dementia. The deed would transfer ownership of a property and the relatives
4:15
named to herself. McMahon is now facing a third degree felony charge of forgery
4:20
and she's in a Georgia jail awaiting extradition to Port St. Lucie
