That Michael Cohen was so devastatingly horrific for the prosecution on the witness stand and

he's going to have more cross-examination on Monday. So horrific was he for the prosecution that it might lead to an outright acquittal and

that Trump's attorneys are now looking for an acquittal before they were looking for

a hung jury. Now they're looking for an acquittal, which would be the final nail in the coffin of Alvin

Bragg's ridiculous career. You know the career where he doesn't punish real crime but goes after political opponents

Almost immediately, Trump's attorney asked Cohn whether he had recently gone on TikTok

and called the defense lawyer Todd Blanch a derogatory term. Cohn was also yelled at by Trump's defense attorney, saying his claim about a 2016 phone

call at issue in the trial was, quote, a lie. Do you think this cross-examination was damaging and could Cohn's credibility problems sway

jurors not to convict Trump? It's damaging if the prosecutors can't on redirect give an explanation for it

Was he just mistaken or was it untruthful? That could be damaging because remember, they want an acquittal

That's the goal for defense attorneys. But they will be ecstatic if just one juror says not guilty and there's a hung jury

Now Michael Cohn's cross-examination is still underway. Trump's team will resume questioning Cohn on Monday

What do you think we can expect next weekend, potentially from closing arguments barring

any last minute witnesses? Well, there should be closing arguments. If there are not, that means that, well, I don't believe in any world that Donald Trump

will testify. But if they call defense witnesses, if they do call defense witnesses, that will be a

gift to prosecutors. Prosecutors can't comment on the defendant not testifying. Prosecutors can't comment on there not being defense witnesses

But once you call them, then the prosecutors can talk to the jury and say they call these

incredible people. So assuming there are no defense witnesses, summation should be on Tuesday

Defense goes first. Prosecutors go last. And that's where you will hear the defense talk about the lying Michael Cohn who went

rogue with Allen Weisselberg and don't believe this case. And then you'll hear the prosecutors talk about all of the circumstantial evidence that
