Comment "HEIGHT" if you want a height friendly bakanced plate idea.
As a Physician/ nutrition expert, I often see parents assume genetics 100% determines a child’s height.
That’s only part of the story. Height is influenced by genetic potential, but nutrition, sleep, activity, and early growth patterns matter too.
📌 Research shows that growth in early childhood — especially balanced nutrition with quality protein and micronutrients — is linked to better height outcomes later in childhood.
One cohort study found higher protein intake in early years was associated with higher lean mass and growth mediators like IGF-I, which supports growth around puberty.

📌 Another large study in Indian school children found that protein and energy intake were positively associated with height-for-age scores, even after adjusting for parental height.
✔️ That means: genes set the range, but environment sets where inside that range a child ends up.
So if you want your child to reach their maximum growth potential:
✨ Prioritize a balanced height-friendly plate
✨ Ensure good sleep every night
✨ Encourage daily play & activity ( jumping, running, skating, swimming)
