Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran was a frontliner when the COVID pandemic reached Bacolod City after Mayor Evelio Leonardia appointed him to head the local inter-agency task force on what was then known as the novel Coronavirus. He thought he had seen it all until COVID came inside his home after his grandchild, a girl, tested positive.
