A broadcaster who worked in rated radio stations from the now defunct DYRH Radyo Tagring to DYHB of the Radio Mindanao Network to dyEZ-Aksyon Radyo of the Manila Broadcasting Company, Fred's deep baritone has entertained listeners with his portrayals in radio soaps to reporting and commentaries. He is what broadcasters call a dumaan, a veteran who stands alongside other greats like Joe Gabuat and Vic Mercado.
