We show the process of turning a slab of meteorite into a beautiful ring. We start with the rough slab of meteorite and cut two concentric circles into it with the waterjet. Then Patrick Adair takes over and shows how to do the rest. He uses mainly his lathe from that point to expand the center hole to the right size, then sizes the outside. Because of the chemical makeup of the meteorite when you etch it with acid it disolves the softer of the metals just slightly to create that amazing homemade pattern.
