Those things really help us, and they're easy, so just do it already ****************** About the Video ******************* We got a pretty large chunk of petrified wood, we wanted to see if it looked the same all the way through or was just a painted rock. We took it to the trusty ole' waterjet and gave it a whirl. First Mitchell checked lickopedia and found out how petrified wood is made and found out its considered a fossil... the more you know... It was actually harder than we expected to cut, you can see the curved cut lines at the end of the video, that shows that it hadn't cut all the way through as the jet was moving, so it was kind of a rough cut. If you watch to the end you'll see where Dan used a grinder to smooth out the cut petrified wood, then sanded it down smooth and polished it up. I thought it turned out pretty cool.
