Hi, it's the broker that gratitude guy
0:02
common courtesy I Was thinking the other day I asked somebody I said, you know what? Hey, I was thinking why don't we go to the football game? and
0:09
They go into this big long explanation about oh gosh I can't do this and they carry on about 30 to 45 seconds about I'm doing this I'm doing that and I said hey
0:18
Hey, let me stop you here for a second. You don't have to give me the explanation
0:21
All I'm looking for here is some common courtesy if you can't make it you can't make it
0:26
I'm grateful that you know, you're a friend and I hope you're grateful that I was asking you to the football game
0:31
But you'd have to go into the big explanation and it kind of reminded me back years ago when I asked somebody
0:36
It's a long time when I asked somebody. Hey, do you want to go over for dinner? And their question was what do you have
0:41
And I started laughing. They said what am I having? Not you anymore
0:45
If you care about what I'm having more than just wanting to come over for dinner and have our friendship and share a meal together
0:51
So it made me realize how important common courtesy is be grateful for your friendships
0:56
Be grateful for all these people that you get to interact with in your life But when it comes to explaining things, you don't have to go into a bunch of detail
1:04
Just use common courtesy and I think the same thing in this day and age with emails and phones and texts and voicemails
1:11
People sometimes get back to you. Sometimes they don't and I think all I tell people is hey all I'm looking for
1:16
Some common courtesy so be grateful you've got friends be grateful You've got all those ways you could communicate and just remember the best policy of all policy of all is just to use some
1:26
