Woodturning - The Goblet of BLUE Fire

In this woodturning video, I will be transforming some amazing olive wood pieces into a one of kind hybrid goblet. After some wood preparation such as quick drying in the oven and removing or loose part such as bark or inclusions it was ready to be casted in some blue deep pour epoxy resin. Once it was up on my woodturning lathe I was able to start carving into the desired shape using carbide negative rake chisel. It was sanded up to high grit and applied several layers of clear gloss lacquer.
