Woodturning - Cheese Knife

0 views Jul 15, 2025

Re-cycling an old and blunt table saw blade to wood turn into cheese knife. Used a piece of pinecone and purple heart transition and multi coloured pigments for the resin the make the knife handle. After woodturning the handle, it was sanded up to 12000 grit and polished for good shine. Cut the knife blade with my angle grinder and then sanding begun. Sanded all the way till 3000 grit to achieve nice and smooth surface. Used 5 mins epoxy to glue the blade into the handle and we were off to go to test the knife on piece of cheese Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/davidswoodturning Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DavidsWoodturningUK Website: https://www.davidswoodturning.co.uk Affiliated Link: 10% OFF on Starbond Glue Website Use Code: DSWT10 https://www.starbond.com/?rfsn=5612082.c38978&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=5612082.c38978 Affiliated Link: 10% OFF on Starbond Glue Website Use Code: DSWT10 https://www.starbond.com/?rfsn=5612082.c38978&utm_source=refersion&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=5612082.c38978 In the future I would like to share my creations with the audience here ranging from both simple woodturning ideas ideal for beginners but also more complex and artistic works for those like a bit of challenge.
