Can You Wood Turn Pistachio Shells ???

In this woodturning video, I used some pistachio shells and coloured epoxy resin to make this awesome hybrid pistachio bottle opener. To reduce bubbles and trapped air I used my pressure pot but still quite a few bubbles were in there during turning. Just filled them with some 5mins epoxy and did the trick just fine.
