In this woodturning video, I will be transforming a silver birch log into a Snowman. With the festive season around the corner, I thought it is time to make something Christmassy. Used my cordless chainsaw to trim the log a little then began shaping this big chunk of wood on my woodturning lathe. The wood had plenty of spalting what further enhance its look. Used male X tool laser cutter to cut some button, eyes and mouth and also turned a little nose out of some paduek hardwood.
