How And Where To PROPERLY PLACE A Microphone For Video

There are many types of microphones for video recording, but I personally like to use a lavalier microphone, lav and sometimes called a lapel microphone. The lapel microphone is a small microphone that is placed on a piece of clothing, near the face at chest level. Its main advantage is that it allows us to move or walk while still capturing sound. Most of these microphones are omnidirectional, meaning that they pick up audio coming from any angle, so it doesn't really matter which direction the sound comes from. This type of microphone is very useful for interviews; I use it a lot when I do wedding videos to capture the audio of the bride and groom. #microphone #video #lavalier
