If you are new to the series/channel, Penang is a historical city, rich with street food. Malaysia is rich with different cultures which means it is also rich with amazing local cuisine and street food! Malaysian street food, Chinese street food, Indian street food and much more! In today's video, we sample some incredible Indian, Chinese and Malay inspired dishes. We start our day off with some street side roti canai with curry chicken + roti bakar + teh tarik, both Indian and Malay inspired foods. We then try the acclaimed "ice coffee" made by the extremely friendly aunty at Kopi Peng Famous Aunty (or Star Kopi). With her signature star on the kopi, we cooled down with her delicious coffee on the hot Penang day. Next, we head over to an important Hindu Temple, to check out some monkeys and the view over the city. For lunch, a hot plate of mee goreng filled us up. He was a mee goreng master!
