### Pasta Primavera
**Ingredients:**
- 12 oz pasta (such as penne, farfalle, or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 small zucchini, chopped
- 1 small yellow squash, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
**Instructions:**
1. **Cook the pasta:** Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. **Sauté the vegetables:** In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
