Bulu Box - Unboxing (August 2016) - Health and Fitness Subscription Box!

Hey guys! So I just got my very first Bulu Box. This is one that I've seen the name come up a lot on a lot of the subscription box review sites, mainly because right now they have a promotion where if you subscribe, you get your boxes for $5 for life

So from what I've gathered, Bulu Box is a health and fitness type of subscription box, which is kind of weird for me because I'm not very fit when it comes to things like that

But I do like healthy things, I like vitamins, I like supplements, things like that. And I don't really know what all they're giving you. This box has been $5 for a while, so I would think that it would only add up to be about $5 worth of stuff, but since they're upping the price to $10, maybe they're kind of increasing the quality of what you get

So I'm totally blind to what's inside this box, but I figured, hey, let's give it a shot

So the box itself is really cool. It's kind of full of motivational quotes. So that's pretty awesome. I think that's really encouraging for anyone, especially if this is trying to get you to get into fitness

You need that kind of motivation, like every day. I know I would. So let's open it up

Okay, so there is a little, I guess it's like an advertisement for one of the things inside it

I kinda figured this thing would have a lot of advertising material in it with it being so cheap. I don't know, I don't mind for five bucks

And this is a description of the items inside so I'm gonna put this over here. So they have some tissue paper here

Oh okay, it's like a cute little package. I'm actually pretty impressed for five dollars

So let's start with these trail chips. Wildberry medley Interesting cauliflower seeds cranberries chia blueberries quinoa and pumpkin seeds So it very natural very healthy

So they're definitely the color you would expect a wild berry chip to be. It's kind of like a bluish tint and there's a bunch of little natural looking berries and nuts and stuff in there

This is pretty cool. I'm excited to try this. Hmm. It's not as sweet as I would have thought

You can kind of get the hint of berry, but it's really really much like a like a tortilla chip

Just a plain one, but yeah, I kind of expected to be a little bit sweeter So that's not as exciting as I thought it would be, but it's still pretty good

So let's see let's go ahead and go to this so it's like a little cake up Which is awesome because I have a Keurig so this is Westbrook coffee company

Mezza morning, so I would love to try this but it's nine o'clock at night

And I'm really sensitive to caffeine when it's late at night So I am going to try this in the morning and I'm going to put a little annotation over here describing what I thought of it

So hopefully you have time to read that so I think yes This is the skin balm that was advertised on that little promo card. It's Earth's Care dry and cracked skin balm, which is awesome

I'm a huge fan of lotions and like hand creams and stuff like that

So this is really cool. I didn't expect anything like this to be within a health and fitness box. Oh, wow

Wow, it's so thick. That actually looks really good. Like, I wanna eat that

It's kinda oily. I not usually big on oily hand products But wow it smells really good It smells really healthy and clean and minty This is a good amount For paying for this box and having this huge tub well not huge but having this tub of this product that pretty cool

So let's see what this is. So it's called Cold Ease, Natural Allergy Relief

I have tried a couple of products that are labeled as, I don't know what the term is

It's like that quasi-science thing where it's like herbal remedies to things

I don't know the word for it. It's homeopathic. There's that word right there. Oh, actually, I just now noticed that it's not cold-y. It's just from the makers of cold-y. So it's just

natural allergy relief. So I'm not currently experiencing allergy symptoms, so I'm not going

to try this out. That's kind of cool. I'll hold on to this. And it doesn't expire until February

of next year, so I have plenty of time to have my allergies act up. Let's see. Next up, we have a

nut crunch. I think it's kind of like, it looks kind of like a granola mix. You can kind of see it

It's kind of clumped up like granola. And it says it's made with cashews, almonds, pecans, and walnuts

So you can see it's kind of like a granola bar. I think it just happens to be stuck together. That's really good

There's definitely like a little bit of sweetness to it, but it's really, really nice nutty flavor

Yeah, I'm a big fan of this. So next up, it looks like we have a fruit ice pop, which unfortunately I can't try it on camera for you guys

So it seems like the flavors are blood orange and ginger. That's a really interesting flavor

Maybe by the time I edit this video I'll have already eaten this, so maybe I put another little annotation here If not I just going to cut this part out and you never going to see it but you might see it cool and lastly we have two little packets of soluble fiber they both

citrus berry fusion so apparently you don't mix this with anything you just kind of drink it right

out of the packet um so let's give it a try that's really good i mean it kind of does taste like it's

like a vitamin or something but it's really really sweet and really fruity i give it a thumbs up well

So there you guys go, that was my very first Bulu box. I am really impressed, for five bucks, this is definitely more along the lines of ten

bucks worth, but really I feel like this is even more value than that because a lot of

subscription boxes, they don't really give you more value than your box costs, but even

if I was paying ten bucks, I'm really happy with this, it's a really nice selection of things

I like that it's not super focused on fitness, I was a little worried about that, I thought it would kind of be more for active people, not me

I think this is a great option for $5 if you can get in on that early deal

Even for $10, I would consider continuing with the subscription. But the fact that you can sign up for it right now and get $5 boxes for life, this is an absolute win in my book

Especially if you're someone who doesn't subscribe to many subscription boxes and you want to see what it's like

Just kind of the experience of having a box come each month and never knowing what's inside. Definitely recommend this one. It's so cheap and you can get locked into that low price
