$10 MYSTERY BOX OF AWESOME - Unboxing and Review (September 2016)

Monthly... mystery... month... Mini mystery month..

The mini mystery box of awesome. Hey guys! So before I get started I want to give a quick shout out to Matthew Wiles, or Matty as he's called

He's a YouTuber I found recently. He has a really cool channel. He does vlogs, challenge videos, things like that

So make sure to check it out and let him know I sent you. So today I will be unboxing my very first mini mystery box of awesome

Now I must admit, this isn't my first mini mystery box. I actually got one last month and I was going to do a video of it

And I didn't realize that once you open this, you see what all the items are

It's not like it's a box within this. So I kind of spoiled it for myself. So I don't know too much about this box

Honestly, I just saw it on a website and I was like, that sounds pretty cool. But it's only $10

I think the full size one is $20. But it's from a site called That Daily Deal

And it's a completely random subscription box. so I have no idea what's inside this one

So without further ado, let's open her up. So I'm just going to reach in here and pull out the first item

Oh, that's a pretty big box. So this is a Philips Flexible Cable Wrap which is actually really cool because I actually just ordered a bunch of LED lights for my lighting setup and a new surge protector so this actually will come in handy

But it's six foot of cable management, you can kind of see an example right there of

how it works. Yeah, I mean these are pretty cool and my desk area is a complete mess

Luckily you guys see from that perspective instead of edit, so this will definitely come

in handy in tidying up this room a little bit. Next up we have a Banana Boat waterproof suction speaker

That's cool, although I have a ton of bluetooth speakers. Apparently you can suction this to maybe like a shower or the side of a pool

That's kind of cool, I had no idea that Banana Boat made anything other than sunscreen

So I figured why not give it a try and see how it sounds

First of all, see if it's, oop, it definitely, I have it suctioned to my desk, I'm not sure

if you can see this, hold on one second. So pardon the mess, but I have it suctioned to the desk right here

Um, I guess I pulled this tab to get it up. It is, wow, that is really strong

So now that I have it suctioned to my desk, let's give it a try. So I mean, it's not the best sound, but at the same time

for under for this whole box I pretty happy with it I wonder if you can listen to this underwater That would actually be pretty cool Next up we have oh this is cool It a one LED light bulb with carabiner

This would be really cool in, like, a camping kit. I wonder how bright it is, so let's open it up and try it out

So it's really tiny. It kind of looks like a cute little light bulb. Cool. So let's try it

Ooh. It looks a lot better on my webcam, actually, than in person. My webcam looks like this, like, magical glowing thing. This would make a really cool thumbnail

Sure, that'll work. But yeah, in person, it's not all glowy like it is on camera. It just kind of

looks like a little tiny LED bulb. Maybe if I hold it up close, you'll see what I'm seeing

Okay, that's a little more impressive. Still kind of false impression on camera though. So yeah

not the brightest, but a nice little addition to a camping set. And I think that might have

actually been it. It looks like there's a couple of coupons down in here. So you get $50 off

HelloFresh. I tend to get these a lot in subscription boxes. So there's a scratch off on the back and

they give you a list of prizes that you can win. You can win a year of pizza, an Apple Watch

sunglasses, a Fitbit, a Surface 3 inflatable hot tub, or a 4K Ultra HD 3D smart TV. So let's see

what I won Okay so you actually have to scratch off the code and enter it on their website Let see what I got So it looks like I earned 10 off my order which is probably one of the defaults They probably have like tons of those prizes but definitely a nice little addition to the box and it makes a little fun lottery gambling

aspect to it. So this month, 23 people got a 3D virtual headset. They don't list a brand

so I'm assuming it's probably one of those off-brand ones. And next month, at least one

person will receive a segue, like a little personal segue. So it's pretty obvious that

this mini monthly box is trying to drive traffic to their website, which isn't a bad thing. It's

kind of a site where they post like a featured deal each day because who doesn't need an 8.75

inch survival knife with magnesium fire starter. Literally, that's the deal of the day right now

and it's only $6.49. So there are these completely random deals that you don't need, but you just

have to have them. So yeah, I feel like that was another successful mini mystery month. I cannot

say this like for the life of me. Mini Mystery Box of Awesome. I need to just remember it like

lucky of awesome. So yeah, I'm a big fan of this. It sucks that I couldn't post unboxing last month
