Spicy Garlic Air Fryer Tofu Recipe
Ingredients: 1 block firm tofu (14 oz), 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 green onion (chopped, optional). Instructions: Press tofu between paper towels with a heavy object on top for 20 minutes to remove excess water. Cut into 1-inch cubes. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and black pepper. Add tofu cubes and toss to coat evenly. Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Place tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking basket halfway through, until crispy and golden. While tofu cooks, heat sesame oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove tofu from air fryer and toss with sautéed garlic in a bowl. Garnish with chopped green onion if desired. Serve hot as a snack or over rice for a meal. Adjust cayenne for preferred spice level.
