So that in case if you do any mistake in the DNS settings or deleted any DNS record, then you can easily restore it from your backup file

So recently I got a message that he has lost his DNS record in Cloudflare but don't know how to recover it

So to prevent such type of incidents, you need to backup your DNS record inside the Cloudflare

So for this you need to login to your Cloudflare dashboard and open that website

So let me just open this website and here you need to click on the DNS settings here

Now the DNS settings will look like this and here you will see two different options

One is add records and another one is advanced. So just click on advanced here and here as you can see here you will see this option export

So just click on the export button so it will export your DNS file to your computer

And now just rename this file as DNS your website name and save it in somewhere safe place

So in case if you delete any record in Cloudflare then you can easily export that DNS setting by clicking on the advanced button and then select that downloaded backup file and it will be exported the DNS record to your Cloudflare website
