In this video, we invite you to reflect deeply on the day's biblical readings, with powerful passages that challenge us to examine our faith and trust in God. Today, we will meditate on the First Reading (Jeremiah 17,5-8), the Second Reading (1Cor 15,12.16-20) and the Gospel (Luke 6,17.20-26). Each of these passages offers us a unique insight into how to live the Christian life faithfully, trusting in divine promises and embracing the teachings of Jesus. First Reading (Jeremiah 17:5-8): The prophet Jeremiah presents us with a powerful image of what it means to trust in God. He begins by warning about those who place their trust in human beings and temporal riches, comparing them to a bush in the desert. On the other hand, those who trust in the Lord are like trees planted by flowing waters, always fruitful, even in times of drought. This reading invites us to reflect on where we are placing our trust: in passing things or in God, who is the constant source of strength and protection? Second Reading (1Cor 15,12.16-20): In his letter to the Corinthians, Saint Paul addresses a fundamental issue for the Christian faith: the resurrection. If there is no resurrection, our faith is in vain, he says. Saint Paul reminds us that Christ rose from the dead and, through His resurrection, guaranteed victory over death for all who believe in Him. This teaching is central to our Christian hope, for without the resurrection, our faith would be useless. Paul teaches us that the resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our own hope in eternal life with God. Gospel (Luke 6,17.20-26): The Gospel of Luke brings us the famous Sermon on the Plain, where Jesus pronounces the beatitudes and curses, reversing the logic of the world and showing the path of humility and service. The beatitudes proclaim the happiness of those who, despite earthly difficulties, seek justice, mercy and purity of heart. On the other hand, curses fall on those who trust in their wealth and status, reminding us that true happiness does not lie in material possessions, but in living according to the values of the Kingdom of God. These daily readings invite us to deeply reflect on where we are placing our trust, on hope in the resurrection and on the values that guide our lives. The words of Jeremiah, Paul and Jesus are an invitation to live a solid faith based on God's promises, seeking to live in a more authentic way and aligned with His will. Share with us in the comments what these passages mean to you and how they touch your spiritual life. Let's meditate together and seek to live in accordance with biblical teachings, always seeking a more faithful life committed to the principles of the Kingdom of God. 📖 Readings of the Day: First Reading: Jeremiah 17.5-8 Second Reading: 1Cor 15,12.16-20 Gospel: Luke 6,17.20-26 🌟 Related Hashtags: #LeituraBíblica #ReflexãoDiária #ConfiançaEmDeus #Ressurreição #EsperançaCristã #BemAventuranças #ReinoDeDeus #FéCristã #PalavraDeDeus #bibliacatolica List of Best Keywords: Trust in God, Resurrection, Christian Hope, Beatitudes, Christian Faith, Sermon on the Plain, Word of God, Gospel of Luke, Christian Living, Promises of God, Divine Justice, Mercy, Kingdom of God .
