A quick review and demo of my new Squier 40th Anniversary Stratocaster Gold Edition. It looks beautiful, but it needs some improvement. This particular model has a weirdly buzzing B string and it has some tuning problems. I'm not surprised - the vast majority of Squier guitars needs a setup after unboxing. Still, I'm convinced that this guitar will be an absolutely killer axe after fixing these minor issues! Is it better than the Classic Vibe Strat? Well, it depends on how you look at it. If you're okay with spending a bit more for this unique finish with golden hardware, go for it.
