America's Longest Tunnels Engineering in the US has made incredibly strides in the past. As late as the mid 1900s, the idea of freeways was still developing and they werent yet built on a widespread scale. And now, there is incredible infrastructure being built around the country, including 24 mile long bridges, covered in an earlier video of mine, but now, over mile long bridges; going under cities, water & mountains. So today I wanted to look at the longest road tunnels in the country, and show the history of how insane these really are.
