AI Training Has a Sweet Spot—Then Motion Collapses

More training doesn’t always mean a better result. I compared 32 checkpoints with the prompt, seed, and pipeline controlled so the only changing variable was training progress. The likeness locked in around 1,750 steps, but by 2,000 steps the generated video had already lost 71% of its motion. Even more interesting: the voice converged about three times faster than the face.
