At 250 steps that is not me. It's a stranger with my haircut. At 1750 it locks in - that's the moment it stops being an approximation and becomes a likeness. And here's the part nobody mentions: the voice got there first. It converged about three times faster than the face. By step 500 the voice was already 72% of the way from "not him" to "actually him" while the picture still looked like someone else entirely.
