Although it shares similarities with the original Bingo, the Bingo Plus is a completely new car, offering a larger size and an extended range of 510 km. While the naming may cause some confusion, much like the BYD Dolphin and Seagull, the 2024 Wuling Bingo and Bingo Plus are related models with a shared design philosophy. However, the Bingo Plus distinguishes itself with a larger body, measuring 4090 mm in length and 1720 mm in width, compared to the original Bingo's 3950 mm length and 1720 mm width. The height of the Bingo Plus is slightly reduced by 5 mm to 1575 mm. In comparison, the BYD Dolphin is longer, with a length of 4150 mm and a wheelbase of 2700 mm. Visually, the Bingo Plus features distinctive design elements such as linear LED running lights integrated into the headlight cluster and larger air vents on the front. The side profile showcases a floating roof style typically seen on SUVs, along with new five-spoke wheels. At the rear, the taillight clusters are slimmer, and the hatch opening is larger compared to the regular Bingo. While the interior details are yet to be revealed, the vehicle claims to have a spacious trunk with 1450 liters of storage capacity, utilizing 78.4% of the available space. Under the hood, the 2024 Wuling Bingo Plus is powered by a TZ180XS275 motor developed by Shandong Shuanglin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. It delivers a maximum power of 75 kW, surpassing the Dolphin's 70 kW, and peak torque of 180 Nm. The car is equipped with a 50.6 kWh battery, which is quite substantial for its size, enabling an impressive range of 510 km (CLTC). Pricing details will be disclosed during the launch, but it is expected that the Bingo Plus will be competitively priced around 100,000 yuan to rival the recently launched 2024 version of the BYD Dolphin.
