Got in another statue to review and unbox for you guys and it's Clouds Studio Deidara! This one is inspired by his fight with Sasuke, he is displayed alongside his C1, and there is an explosion with a light-up feature, so I had to have this one.
In this statue unboxing, I'll give you guys a closer look at the pieces, assemble the statue, and do a showcase towards the end. Hope you guys enjoy the video! ?
If you are interested in seeing more from Clouds Studio, I also have statue unboxings of Clouds Studio Hidan and Clouds Studio Kakuzu on the channel! Up next is my July manga haul and I had a lot come in with Right Stuf's Birthday Sale, so I have a lot to show you guys!

What's up guys, it's Kristen from Anime Collective
0:02
So I got in a new statue this week. So I have a new unboxing for you guys
0:06
and it's Cloud Studios' Datora statue. So I had to have this one
0:10
because I thought it was really unique for a Datora statue and I also already have their statues of Kakuzu and Hidan
0:16
which I reviewed on the channel for you guys. So definitely check those out if you haven't already
0:20
Also stay tuned because I do have their sorcery statue on pre-order as well in addition to their one of Tobirama
0:26
So more are on the way from Cloud Studios and many, many more as well. Also wanted to briefly mention that you guys may notice something's a little bit different about my background
0:35
So I know I told you guys I was going to do a room tour when I got my Magi case shipment in
0:40
However, I made a mistake. I have so much on order and so much on the way that I completely forgot that actually what was on the way was the backboards and the baseboards
0:48
I decided to change those out to white instead of black so that my statues would pop out more
0:53
And I'm really happy with the result. So just wanted to know that real quick because you may notice that difference
0:58
So I'm really sorry I made that mistake, but I will have that room tour coming as soon as that Majuke shipment arrives
1:04
So as you guys may have seen, I did tease this statue in my community tab
1:09
and I saw a lot of you guys thinking this was a Tsukuna statue. So I'm really sorry if you did think this was a Tsukuna statue
1:16
but I do promise I'll make it up to you guys because I do have plans to buy a lot of Jujutsu Kaisen statues
1:21
and I will be unboxing those on the channel for you guys as soon as I find the ones I want to order
1:25
With that all said, we're going to kick things off taking an up-close look at all of the pieces
1:29
then Brad's going to assemble the statue for you guys, and then we'll do that statue showcase
1:34
and stay tuned for that because you'll see the light-up feature in that one. Let's get into it
1:38
So first up is Danaer's head sculpt. He is shown wearing his scope, and they really did a great job with his likeness here
1:44
One of the best head sculpts I've ever seen of him, and I love the smirk he has
1:48
His ponytail came separately sculpted to prevent breakage, which was a smart decision because this piece is delicate
1:53
and the way his hair is sculpted as if it is flowing looks great. All of the small details on his head sculpt are amazing
1:59
and I especially love how they captured his eyes. Both of his arms came separately sculpted
2:03
and my favorite of course is this one which shows his kinjutsu which resulted in the mouse you see on his palms He also has one on his chest but the statue doesn show that one and of course he can use his own mouth too but the detailing on this hand is one of my favorite things
2:16
about this statue, and the way they got that expression here, and the teeth and ton are
2:19
well executed as well. They even added a gloss coat to the ton and some saliva details too, which are really nice
2:26
This also shows his arms sewn back together with a part of that transplant arm by Kakuzu
2:30
after it was blown off by a certain someone, so you see all of that detail here too, which is awesome
2:36
Daedara has the ability to weave one hand sides, so this other arm shows him doing that
2:40
and the mouth on this one is painted precisely as well. The hand here is sculpted really nicely
2:45
and I love all the details they added to the creases in his palms and fingers to make them more defined
2:50
Like their Kakazu statue, Daedara is shown with his Akatsuki cloak flying up behind him
2:54
The only difference here is that Daedara is wearing his cloak with one arm out, which is really cool
2:58
The only issue I see with this piece is the red band around the edges. It's a little thick and also some of the Akatsuki clouds run over the black into the red
3:06
so the paintwork and application on the cloak isn't as precise as I'd like it to be
3:10
But the way they sculpted his cloak makes it look dynamic, so it looks great when assembled
3:14
Next, I want to show you guys his body sculpt. So the outfit here is accurate
3:18
He is shown in that sleeveless shirt with the mesh underneath. The way they executed the mesh looks incredible, by the way
3:23
They included the belt with the two bags on it, which is where he keeps his clay
3:27
and you can even see the clay in his bag, which is an awesome detail. All of the details are great on his body sculpt
3:32
but one of the things I like the most about it is that crouched, powerful pose they put him in
3:37
I really like this because it makes him look like he's actually in the midst of battle. This statue also comes with three clay birds, or his C1
3:44
Here is the largest one, which is an eagle, and I'm really happy with the look of these because they look exactly like they do in the anime
3:50
They also look nice because they are painted in almost this porcelain white color with some slight orange and yellow shading here and there
3:55
The second clay bird is the owl. I love owls, so this is one of my favorites
4:00
The sculpting on this one's head sculpt is awesome and I really love how they sculpted all of their wings too
4:05
By the way, one of the legs and the head on this one and the next one came separately sculpted
4:09
but I added these on just to show what they look like fully assembled And the final clay bird is the hawk I love the fan on the tail and the sculpt of this one as well They just look really nice and I glad they added all of these on the statue Up next is the base So the base itself is painted in this matte black color
4:25
but in its center it has this band that has fire within it, which really ties it into the rest of the statue
4:31
If you've seen my review of Cloud Studios' Hidan and Kakazu statues, you know I love their minimalist approach on their bases, and this one is no exception
4:38
The base also features Manda atop it, which references this battle with Sasuke
4:42
and the texture they got on his scales is great. I appreciate the fact that this statue really highlights Datora's abilities
4:47
as well as references what is, in my opinion, his most memorable battle in the series
4:52
You also have three little clay spiders on here as well, and I never thought I'd say this about spiders, but they are really cute
4:58
Sculpted atop the base, you also have the explosion that rises up behind Datora
5:02
which is really cool. These spikes came separately sculpted because they would have come easily broken during shipment
5:07
which I appreciate, but they don't light up at all when assembled, and because of that, they kind of stand out when the LEDs are on
5:13
The way they painted the explosion looks good when the lights are off though, but it looks even more incredible when the lights are on
5:19
which you'll see later in the showcase. They even added breaks in the paintwork that allow the light to shine through brightly in certain areas
5:25
to make it look as if it's actually exploding. Now that you've gotten a closer look at all of the pieces on this statue, let's assemble it
5:31
So this statue is inspired by Daedra's battle with Sasuke, so it has a lot of references to that, which I love
5:36
I really enjoy the fact that this statue shows him in this outfit because many other studios display him in his Akatsuki cloak, which is great too
5:43
but I found this one to just have a really unique concept, and it really stood out to me amongst the rest of the statues of him
5:49
I do eventually want a statue of him with C2, which is the direction that other studios like Surge Studio took with him
5:55
but I really am impressed by this one because even though it has a smaller footprint, it's still packed with detail
6:00
This one is in 1.8 scale, by the way, and this is a scale I really enjoy. In terms of issues that I found while assembling this one
6:06
one of the spikes of the explosion that came separately sculpted and attaches at the top
6:10
doesn't fit in 100% flush in the notch, so that's just something to note. One thing I do like though
6:15
is that all of these spikes are numbered on the bottom and so are the notches they fit into
6:19
so you can easily find where they go I also want to note that you really have to push carefully but as forcefully as possible to get the clay birds fully into their key and areas It a really tight fit but these pieces aren going anywhere once in so this is somewhat a positive but they just a little too tight fitting for my comfort
6:34
I really enjoy the concepts that Cloud Studio comes up with and since I already had their
6:38
statues of Kakazu and Hidan I already knew they do good work and because of these reasons I already
6:42
had a good feeling about this one. Kakazu is still my favorite they've done so far but they make
6:47
amazing statues and I couldn't be happier with the quality they displayed here on their Daedara
6:51
statue. If you are in search of this one, he is still available for purchase on some sites like
6:55
FavorGK right now. I've added that link in the description below in case you'd like to check it
6:59
out. But since he is now an in-stock item instead of a pre-order, they have increased his price
7:04
If you are still on the hunt for him, you can find him there, but definitely check out all the other statues that are currently up for pre-order from Cloud Studio as well. All in all, another
7:11
great statue from Cloud Studio, and I can't wait to get more from them, including their statues of
7:16
Sasori and Tobirama in the future. Thank you
8:16
I hope you guys enjoyed this unboxing
8:27
I have many more coming to the channel this year, so stay tuned. As always, thanks so much for watching, and I'll see you guys next time
