Alright, we have the Spider-Man from the Legends Spider-Man 2 series
0:12
This is, right now, for pre-order on some sites, you might be able to find it in stores
0:17
In the next month or so you'll be able to find it more often, but right now it's pretty rare
0:21
This is one of seven figures in the line, and probably one of the most anticipated figures
0:27
for a lot of folks who collect Spider-Man action figures, because I'm pretty sure this
0:31
might be the first cosmic Spider-Man we've ever seen. And it's one of seven, which all amount to this build of figure, which is not really
0:40
a figure, but it is a build of wings. Anyway, the box is pretty sweet
0:46
I love the art on the sides here. You can really get the Spider-Man feel from the cosmic
0:51
And then on the side here is the same image. If you also note, every one of these has a different logo
0:55
This has more of a Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie logo look
1:01
And there's also some information on the side here about cosmic Spider-Man
1:06
Obviously the photography is amazing. But the box is the conventional shape and size that the Legends series has been using
1:16
for a couple years now. Let's open this guy. So cosmic Spider-Man comes with two heads and the build of figure wing
1:26
And just pull this guy out. Here's the wing. The back is some webs, which is kind of cool
1:35
And here's the build of figure wing. It just moves one way
1:39
There's some good detail on the wing. Definitely going to be really cool built together
1:46
So since there aren't extra hands or extra things besides the head, there's not a lot
1:51
to this figure. The figure reminds me of the UK Spider-Man that came out with the last line
1:59
Same, I think, same body mold. He's got the bulkier look. Certainly more muscular than other Spider-Mans
2:09
And then there's the numbers, which is a conventional thing with these figures
2:15
Overall, the paint job is really good. You can see the white specks and the blue
2:21
Really really cool. And the cosmic dots as they link up. Really really nice
2:26
I mean, that's really what a lot of folks are going to want out of this figure. I think they nailed it
2:31
You can even see in the fist, there's some good detail in the fingers
2:36
I don't know how they did the splatter. I don't know if it's random or not. I'd love to see another one of these figures to see that
2:43
Overall, really nice color. It has a nice shine to it. Obviously, you're going to note the Spider-Man mask on the front
2:50
What's interesting about this is that it actually looks like it's a piece of plastic glued onto
2:58
the face, which is neat. And then he's got this really stern face
3:03
Nice detail in the eyebrows. It's hard to see, but there's a bit of a wrinkle on the right eye
3:12
And we also have two heads. We've got a scruffy look, Peter Parker, which I think a lot of fans are really really excited
3:21
about because you can stick this on other Spider-Man figures and give him that more
3:26
adult look. The eyes are really good. Good detail in the pupils
3:31
And then we've got a head without the Spider-Man mask. It's just sort of a cosmic look
3:36
You can actually turn this figure into a non-Spider-Man cosmic character. The paint is similar to the body
3:44
It's got this nice blue sheen and specks. So let's talk about the bendability
3:52
The points of articulation are about conventional with these figures. You've got two joints in the arms, two joints in the legs
4:03
He's got that bulkier look, so he may not be able to bend quite as much as other figures
4:07
but considering Cosmic Spider-Man does a lot of flying like so, he doesn't really need
4:14
to bend that much. He's also got that ripped core with a bit of detail that shows the spandex kind of bending
4:22
which is nice. And then the really muscular back. Now, unfortunately on my figure there's a bit of a bending of the plastic here on the arm
4:38
You can see it's really deep in there, which is unfortunate, but it still bends pretty good
4:45
But you can see it's actually coming out a little bit. I don't know if this is going to be a problem with most figures
4:52
It's not a deal breaker by any means, but it definitely might get loose over time
4:57
Overall, I really like this figure, obviously because I've been anticipating the Cosmic
5:02
Spider-Man figure for years and years and years. They've nailed the paint job
5:08
The mold is really nice. He's got this sort of a Superman build
5:12
He's really, really muscular and really, really strong. Obviously there's not a lot of extras
5:17
He's just got these two heads. It would have been nice to have a thwip hand that was blue, but because he can fly, he
5:25
doesn't really need it. I'm going to say most fans are going to really love this
5:32
It's a Spider-Man figure that is unique if you collect Spider-Man figures
5:39
It harkens back to a time in Marvel's history that was a lot of fun, and I think this figure
5:45
is a lot of fun too
