Hey, this is E36 Fanatic Steven and today I'm going to be showing you how to remove a door
0:14
panel off of a Mercedes Benz 2000 E430. So it's pretty straightforward. First thing you're going
0:23
do and you don't have to do this for the first thing but I generally like to
0:34
I'm gonna take this take this cap basically off and then this SRS airbag
0:43
right here. Generally you're gonna want a plastic plastic little crowbar. I forgot
0:52
what they're called but all I got is a metal one so just be really careful not
0:55
to tear the leather. So once you've got this pulled out you're gonna see that
1:02
there's a little screw in there it's just a regular Phillips head screw then
1:08
you've got one right here you're gonna want to remove. So then you've got a plug
1:15
right here and I just popped it out my fingers it's really easy to get out
1:21
And then you have a screw, just another Phillips head screw inside there
1:31
So next you gonna take your screwdriver or your plastic flat tool and just put it under here and pull out and then pull out under here And it come and this door handle piece will come out Then once it out it reveals one more screw right
1:53
here just another Phillips head. Now this light at the very bottom is going to
1:59
need to come out too. Just take your screwdriver and get it under there and
2:04
pop it right out. So once you've got this little light out right here
2:10
it's pretty straightforward. You just take your tool and run it along the edges and pull
2:21
out because it's got little push fasteners that hold it in. So you basically pull them
2:37
out when you run it along here and pull back a little bit. And here's your door
2:45
panel off. The top is held in by these tabs right here. I want to get in with a
2:53
screwdriver. You're gonna want your window down so you can get it from the
3:00
get it from the back side on the top tabs right here. And then it's just held
3:06
held in on the sides in these holes. They have little rivets that go in here
3:14
Then if you want to remove your speaker, it's held in here by one, two, three screws and
3:23
one at the bottom down here. And you just pull those out and it pops right out
