Apache Guacamole is a great Html5 based remote access gateway, especially to use it to access your on-prem application and systems from anywhere with a browser. It supports standard protocols like VNC, RDP, and SSH. It does not need any plugins or client software to be installed on client machines. The most important part is it will always be free and open source under Apache License. You can find more from https://guacamole.apache.org/open-source/. This video is to show the native installation steps for version 1.6.0. Docker installation can be found from my previous videos in my channel. I am planning to create more videos around Guacamole since it does has many unique use cases to meet business need, and I am hoping it can get more attentions in enterpriese environment. This is the first video in this Guacamole series and it only covers a basic installation using user-mapping.xml authentication.
