As we have seen in the last couple of decades the Middle-class is shrinking and not all are getting rich and moving on up like George Jefferson. We are gonna look at average home value according to a couple of different real estate websites, the livability score, and the annual average cost of living excluding housing according to the Consumer Expenditure Survey from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This video may seem like the best place for the middle class in Texas. That's because half the list is cities in Texas. Texas is a great place for the middle-class these days. Iowa is starting to catch up. Both Iowa and Texas have affordable cities. Both those states are in the middle of a California migration with Texas getting far more than Iowa.
