it's nearly Valentine's Day and if the
0:02
way to your partner's heart is through
0:04
their stomach like with mine then these
0:07
cute little heart-shaped biscuits might
0:10
be a great present to make for them
0:13
start with 150 g of plain flour 50 g of
0:16
castor sugar and 100 G of unsalted
0:19
butter in a bowl and just rub between
0:22
your fingers until it gets to a
0:24
consistency like breadcrumbs this might
0:27
take around 5 to 10 minutes so be
0:29
patient patient when it looks like
0:31
breadcrumbs like this you can start
0:33
forming it into a dough so just squeeze
0:35
and squeeze and squeeze until it looks
0:37
like this it will be very crumbly to
0:40
start with but don't worry that just
0:41
means that your biscuits are going to be
0:43
delicious then roll out on a lightly
0:45
flowed surface until half a CM thick and
0:49
use a heart-shaped biscuit cutter to cut
0:52
little heart shapes out of the dough
0:56
then you can roll and do this as many
0:58
times as you need to I'm manag to get 20
1:01
biscuits out of my dough when you
1:03
finished you can lay all of your
1:05
biscuits on a baking tray lined with
1:08
baking parchments and bake in the oven
1:11
at
1:12
170° CSUS for 15 to 20 minutes until
1:16
they look like this leave to cool
1:18
completely then you can decorate use 50
1:21
g of icing sugar and a little water add
1:25
a tiny bit of water to start with and
1:27
then a little bit more until it reaches
1:29
the right spooning
1:31
consistency top onto the each of your
1:34
heart-shaped biscuits and then add the
1:36
toppings of your choice I used hundreds
1:38
and thousands marshmallows pomegranate
1:42
seeds and two different types of little
1:44
edible balls and they made these
1:47
beautiful cute little biscuits these are
1:50
also fantastic for making with children
1:53
uh I can attest to that because my
1:54
2-year-old helped heavily in this
1:58
process there you go perfect respect for
2:00
gifting to the one you love
