On May 18, 2025, in Guangdong, the video captured a young girl perching on the edge of a treadmill that was running at high speed. Within seconds, the machine’s belt hurled her backward, sending her tumbling onto the floor. The shocking footage showed how quickly the accident unfolded, as the girl had simply sat down on the rotating surface without realizing the danger. The girl’s mother, Ms. Huang, later explained that the incident actually happened two months earlier. On that day, she had told her daughter to switch off the treadmill and go shower. Instead, the child climbed onto the running machine, which instantly propelled her off. Ms. Huang said she was terrified but relieved her daughter was unhurt, adding that she has since banned her from touching the treadmill again.
