So here is our machine. I mean, this is the front side here

You can see everything is enclosed, which is another important piece. infamaker k1 is now set up and i gotta be honest with you guys i do not have a long history with

cnc machines however what i recognize is that this is an attempt to take the idea of a cnc

machine and make it a thing that's far more approachable to people that aren't familiar

necessarily with CAD software and to kind of I mean this is the way I'm looking at it take a CNC

and make it as much like a 3d printer as possible that's kind of what this feels like interacting

with this thing and using the interface like the hardware is one thing shrink it down make it

smaller make it all in one and like this this is a five axis machine so it does have multiple tools for different materials it kind of like a set it and forget it like click play and it will actually do the work The magic of CNC is materials This is where it goes way beyond 3D printing If you doing some sort of prototyping we working in wood we

working in brass, we're working in aluminum, we're working in acrylic, and we're getting

prototypes that feel a lot more like finished products and obviously can be used in a number

of applications where something like 3D printing just would not be applicable or, you know, making

it's definitely wood basically the way that this works is inside of this software you can take

even a 2d image allow it to build a model that you're going to be able to create inside the

machine they've also got a display on the device which is going to give you some readout of what

the device is currently doing you can see why it's a five axis i mean x axis y z b and c that

will enable the machining of objects like this in order to give you that level of detail on this

particular pineapple. And because this machine is capable of working with metals, you of course also

have to have distilled water in order to work as a lubricant. And that will be filled inside of this

container here and connected via tube. And the other thing this thing's capable of is it can

switch tools automatically. You just sort of load them up initially manually and then during the job

it can actually change tools. So inside the machine right now, we've got this piece of acrylic

It solves a problem with this guy right here that everybody in the tech community is extremely

familiar with, which is the fact that this magic mouse charges in the most absurd way. Everybody

knows that. Well, this aims to solve that. And this machine job is actually just completed

which means I can reach in and take it out. So this little guy which obviously we could go in there polish it up a little bit you could go in here with sandpaper and really make a finished product imagine that that uh you just got an

entire assembly line of these little docks attempting to fix the charging problem with

the magic mouse so the magic mouse is just going to sit in like this still at like a mousing angle

in order to fit your charge cable in there that can slot in over here like this now we have a
