Where Is Steven Furtick During Tragedy?

Does anybody find it interesting that

Steven Ferdick, pastor of one of the

largest churches in America, hasn't

mentioned a thing about Charlie Kirk,

hasn't mentioned a thing about the

murder that happened in his own city

that caught national attention. You see,

I'm not going to approach this like an

angle that he should support Charlie

Kirk because Charlie Kirk called him out

a few weeks ago and he did that for a

reason. No. See, when you put yourself

out there on a national scale like

Ferdict has, and when you count the

numbers of people who are watching you,

and trust me, they count them, you

become their shepherd. You become their

pastor. And whether Ferdict agreed with

Charlie Kirk or not, whether he agreed

with how Kirk handled himself or not,

that's not the issue here. The issue is

millions of people, specifically

Christians, are hurting at the death of

Charlie Kirk and their shepherd

hasn't addressed it at all.

That's the issue.

You see, Ferdick has built a massive

platform. Ferdick has become one of

America's most recognizable pastors,

especially to the younger generation

because her music is powerful, his

messages are powerful, and therefore he

has become their guide, their shepherd,

and now millions of them are hurting.

And Ferdick hasn't said a thing,

not one thing. And there's a reason

Charlie Kirk called him out. I don't

know that reason, but Kirk was very

careful with his words.

Kirk was very smart in his words.

And I wonder why Kirk did that.

There's a lot of accusations out there

about Steven Ferdick.

I'm not going to get into that.

I'm going to get into it just from a

biblical standpoint that here is a

pastor who counts the people who watches

him every Sunday, who counts the numbers

of people who watch their worship

videos, who targets those people on

purpose, and now during a time of need,

now during a time of hurt, now during a

time when they need a pastor to guide

them through these turbulent times,

Stephen Ferdick is absent.
