SASCO Makes Triumphant Return to University of Venda's SRC

University of Venda's Student Representative Council (SRC) elections have taken a thrilling turn, with SASCO (South African Students Congress) winning victorious after a three-year break. University of Venda students seized the opportunity to shape their student leadership yesterday, October 10, by casting votes for their preferred party to take the reins for the next academic year. After three years under the EFFSC's leadership, the students got to decide who will represent them again in the Student Representative Council (SRC) .It came as shock and excitement for some students when votes were announced and they were informed that the EFFSC has officially stepped down and that the SASCO has won the elections . After announcement , students gathered on campus to celebrate SASCO's victory. Vusi Mokoena, known as "Jesu," will lead the new SRC. The atmosphere was electric, with students wearing SASCO shirts in numbers a, welcoming their new leader, with the rallying cry "Lead us President Jesu, take us to the promised lead."
