Safer Festive Season Campaign Launch in Tshwane

The City of Tshwane recently launched its Safer Festive Season Campaign at Moretele Park, a crucial initiative aimed at ensuring the safety and security of all South Africans during the festive period ¹. Minister of Police Senzo Mchunu emphasized the importance of safety during the holidays, highlighting the campaign's goal of creating an environment where everyone can enjoy the festive season without fear of crime or violence. Key stakeholders, including Deputy Ministers of Police Cassel Mathale and Polly Boshielo, Premier of the Gauteng Province Panyaza Lesufi, and Executive Mayor of the City of Tshwane Dr Nasiphi Moya, participated in the campaign launch. National Police Commissioner General Fanie Masemola and Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni also joined forces to promote the initiative.
