I'm just going to be honest I am not a
0:01
huge fan of grocery shopping so I
0:04
started using Walmart plus grocery
0:07
delivery and I created a meal plan that
0:10
allows me to grocery shop every four
0:12
weeks and stretch it out so that it
0:14
lasts the entire month with the
0:17
exception of produce so today I am doing
0:20
a grocery haul and showing you all what
0:22
I got for the upcoming month
0:26
thank you
0:30
hello and welcome my name is heaven I am
0:32
a stay-at-home mom wife and Homemaker
0:34
here I Vlog about all things motherhood
0:36
and lifestyle I create helpful relatable
0:39
realistic and motivational content so if
0:42
that's something that you're into
0:43
definitely subscribe to my channel I
0:45
would love to have you here but let's go
0:47
ahead and get into today's grocery haul
0:50
so I have some Imperial vegetable spread
0:52
that I just use for a variety of
0:54
different dishes I also have this 100
0:56
juice berry blend with no sugar added
0:59
it's a good source of vitamin C and I
1:01
wanted to try this to make juice I also
1:03
have a 12 pack of large eggs we already
1:06
have an 18 pack in the fridge so I just
1:09
got more eggs for breakfast I have a
1:12
half gallon of whole milk we already
1:14
have almond milk in the freezer and
1:16
fridge but I like to use this whole milk
1:18
for like making mac and cheese Alfredo
1:21
sauces and just cooking with we have
1:23
some sour cream for our Mexican and taco
1:26
Tuesdays one gallon of chocolate whole
1:28
milk because you know it's still drinks
1:30
his chocolate milk every single day and
1:33
then two packs of shredded cheese we
1:34
have the triple cheddar cheese that I
1:36
use for like eggs
1:37
omelette a variety of different dishes
1:39
and then we also have this Fiesta blend
1:42
that we use for a taco Tuesday and
1:44
Mexican nice as well so two packs of
1:47
shredded cheese for the produce I have
1:51
some shredded lettuce for taco Tuesday
1:53
and Mexican night two packs of green
1:56
beans I have the regular style of green
1:57
beans and then the french green beans as
2:00
well I like to meal prep these and store
2:02
them in a container we can just have
2:03
them on the side for like lunch or for
2:06
dinner I have a cabbage hat to go with
2:08
like Sunday dinner for like our corned
2:12
beef red orange and green peppers for a
2:15
variety of different dishes but
2:16
specifically for my gumbo the same for
2:18
the sellers because we already have
2:20
russet potatoes I just grabbed a few
2:22
sweet potatoes and some red baby
2:25
potatoes
2:26
um so now moving on to the meat I have
2:29
this Italian style ground turkey sausage
2:31
I have this in all of my grocery hauls I
2:34
love this for like spaghetti and Italian
2:37
dishes so I'm always going to make sure
2:39
that I have some of this in the freezer
2:40
I have some imitation crab Delight that
2:44
will last some raw base scallops and
2:49
some raw shrimp all of which I plan to
2:53
use this month for a seafood spaghetti
2:56
more smoked sausage for the gumbo for
3:00
another Sunday meal I decided to go with
3:02
some beef chuck riblets which I never
3:04
tried these before so hopefully they're
3:05
good but then I also got the beef
3:07
country style ribs as well as well as a
3:11
corned beef brisket also for a Sunday
3:13
meal that's going to go really good with
3:15
the Cabbage for just like weekly meals
3:17
like weekly dinners I normally cook a
3:20
nut to last for two days so that I'm
3:23
only making the Sunday meal and then two
3:25
weekly meals cooking three times per
3:27
week so I have two things of ground
3:30
turkey some Angus beef for fajitas
3:33
boneless chops and two packs of chicken
3:37
moving on to the can and Pantry items
3:41
two cans of garlic and herb tomato sauce
3:44
for the seafood spaghetti mushroom gravy
3:48
I have a can of baked beans that will go
3:50
really good with like the ribs for a
3:52
Sunday dinner two packs of these creamy
3:56
chicken flavored rice sides that just go
3:58
good on the side with like chicken or
4:00
any type of like quick weekly meal I
4:03
also have two cans of biscuits it comes
4:07
with eight in a pack so this one can of
4:09
biscuits could last an entire week if I
4:11
bake them and then put like a sausage an
4:14
egg and a cheese in the middle of it and
4:16
freeze them so that we can you know warm
4:18
them up every single day and have it for
4:20
breakfast I also have chicken broth
4:23
specifically for the gumbo but chicken
4:25
broth is also really good for Soups
4:28
have this mac and cheese side that's
4:31
good for again just another really quick
4:34
dinner side if you don't want to make
4:36
homemade mac and cheese taco shells for
4:39
our Mexican and taco Tuesdays so on
4:42
Tuesdays we'll do like tacos we'll do
4:45
fajitas we'll do quesadillas nachos
4:49
however I also have some angel hair
4:52
pasta so that I can use it with some
4:55
chicken breasts and create a chicken
4:57
Parmesan for an eighth dinner option for
5:01
the month again I said we do two dinner
5:05
options per week plus the Sunday dinner
5:08
one for each Sunday each meal typically
5:11
lasts us two days and that is how I have
5:14
enough food for the entire month when it
5:19
comes to dinner I also have some
5:21
seasoned french fries it just goes good
5:24
on the side of anything for lunch so I
5:26
have some sliced cinnamon Brio bread
5:28
that we can use to make some french
5:31
toast for breakfast you can just like
5:33
pop these in the oven I also have some
5:36
really quick Toaster Strudels some Eggo
5:39
French toast sticks and then for more
5:43
snacks I have some chocolate chip
5:45
cookies that knowing that I like to bake
5:47
together it comes with 24 in the pack so
5:50
we'll be able to bake these multiple
5:52
times throughout the month I also have
5:54
some yum Earth organic Licorice and then
5:58
a 24 pack of these
6:00
um Mott's fruit snacks pretzel sticks to
6:03
snack on and then Noah loves these he
6:06
already opened it and took one out but
6:08
we like to kind of just drink these
6:10
boost drinks sometime because they have
6:13
360 calories plus 14 grams of protein
6:17
and it has 26 vitamins and minerals so
6:21
these are a great way to get into
6:22
protein and like fill you up if you're
6:24
like on the go or you just need like a
6:26
quick little snack so there's so small
6:28
and they taste good they're easy to
6:30
drink and like they fill you up
6:32
sometimes I'll also give these to Noah
6:34
if he's like protesting and is not
6:37
eating his dinner because he's just a
6:39
picky toddler so instead of like forcing
6:41
him to eat dinner and fighting with him
6:42
if I know it's like probably a losing
6:45
battle
6:46
um I'm not for just forcing him to eat
6:49
all the time but I don't want him to
6:51
starve at night so sometimes I just give
6:53
him this boost drink and then I know he
6:55
got some you know vitamins some
6:57
nutrients some protein and some calories
6:58
so I have this lavender and chamomile
7:01
tea plus some more honey and I actually
7:05
ordered a couple more teas which let me
7:08
see what kind it was and I'll show you
7:10
guys because it has to ship so there
7:14
were a couple of items that I ordered
7:15
that is gonna be shipped so here is
7:19
another tea that I got and that is the
7:23
Tazo black vanilla macaron caffeinated
7:27
tea so I'm excited to see what that
7:30
tastes like but it won't be here until
7:32
Friday and then I also have this vanilla
7:37
decaffeinated tea that I wanted to try
7:41
I've never tried Hardy and sauce tea and
7:44
so that one is supposed to be like kind
7:46
of creamy kind to sweet but
7:48
decaffeinated and then again this isn't
7:50
going to arrive until Friday as well so
7:53
that's it aside from that I got a few
7:55
gallons of water for drinking and for
7:58
making juice tea and coffee and things
8:00
like that with but that you know is
8:04
about as easy as it gets to me I just
8:06
make sure that I choose four Sunday
8:08
meals as well as eight weekly meals so
8:13
that we will have dinner throughout the
8:15
entire month and then in addition to
8:18
that my husband will get like emergency
8:20
meals from Costco that's pre-made like
8:22
we like the Lasagna the alfredos
8:26
um the meatloaf things like that that we
8:27
can store in the freezer just for any
8:29
reason if we're like sick or we're out
8:31
late and we don't have time to prepare
8:32
dinner he's also gonna go and get like
8:34
lamb chops and steaks just like things
8:37
that we like to keep in the freezer but
8:39
my goal with my grocery shopping is just
8:41
to make sure that we have food
8:43
throughout the month we have different
8:45
types of like breakfast items like like
8:47
the eggs the toaster pastries the French
8:50
toast we have turkey sausage and a
8:52
freezer already and then sometimes we
8:55
just do cereal or a bagel or muffins all
8:58
of which we pretty much keep on hand
9:00
throughout the week and like fruits
9:02
things like that just Quick Step my
9:04
husband picks up salmon chicken nuggets
9:06
and chicken breasts from Costco those
9:09
are things that Noah and him like to eat
9:11
for lunch I just made a large salad
9:14
yesterday and it's large enough that
9:16
that salad is going to last me the
9:17
entire week so lunch is easier because
9:19
we can just do like a sandwich chicken
9:21
nuggets we don't have to prepare like a
9:23
meal so lunch is so much easier and
9:26
easily accounted for if I just meal prep
9:28
some vegetables and like I said just
9:32
make something quick but this method of
9:34
meal prepping for me makes it so easy
9:36
because I can just open up my meal
9:37
planner number one through eight and
9:40
just pick eight meals to shop for that
9:43
month and then one through four pick
9:46
four Sunday meals to shop for that month
9:48
aside from that I'll just you know keep
9:50
track throughout the month of things
9:52
that we're out of when it comes to like
9:53
breakfast lunch produce bread things
9:56
like that and then sometimes halfway
9:58
through the month I do have to get more
10:00
fruit more vegetable or more bread
10:02
because it goes bad easily especially in
10:06
the winter month summer and spring you
10:09
can kind of like plant your own fruits
10:11
and vegetables because they last a lot
10:13
longer if you grow it for yourself in
10:16
your own garden but what you buy from
10:18
the store the preservatives and things
10:20
like that they don't last very long
10:22
um as far as the brand sometimes I'll
10:24
just make some from home so that I don't
10:27
have to keep purchasing bread from the
10:28
store but homemade bread also doesn't
10:31
quite last as long as like the bread
10:33
that you get from the store because of
10:35
the preservatives but you can still
10:37
freeze bread that you make at home as
10:39
well as the dough so you can pre-made
10:41
dough so that you can easily make bread
10:43
so these are just way sad myself as a
10:45
homemaker and a stay-at-home mom and why
10:47
I like to make you know meal planning
10:50
and grocery shopping easier for myself
10:52
do them once per month so that I just
10:54
don't really have to worry about it
10:56
anymore it's easier to budget for and by
10:59
using Walmart plus it saves all of the
11:03
pre-purchased items that you've ordered
11:05
so that you can pretty much just go back
11:07
to your old items that you ordered and
11:09
reorder them react them to your grocery
11:12
cart and create lists that you can make
11:14
a list for Sunday where you keep meals
11:16
that you like to have for Sunday a
11:18
breakfast list where you keep things
11:19
that you like for breakfast and it just
11:21
makes it so much easier so let me know
11:23
if you've used
11:24
um Walmart plus as well and how you feel
11:27
about it so that sums up today's grocery
11:29
haul I would love to know what you all
11:30
think how often you all do your grocery
11:32
shopping and what you think about
11:34
grocery shopping once per month as well
11:37
as what type of meal plan you all
11:39
utilize if you would like to learn more
11:41
about how I create my meal plan I'll be
11:44
sure to create a more detailed video
11:46
about that but for now that's going to
11:49
be all for today if you found this video
11:51
helpful don't forget to give it a thumbs
11:53
up and of course subscribe to my channel
