Jacob, who's your early winner on this day
0:02
I mean, apart from Chicago, it seems like we're, we're kind of a bit of a winner so far
0:07
Um, I'm going to stick with, um, I was talking about Chandler Stevenson already, and I'm going to stick with the Seattle Kraken
0:12
Um, they made some pretty good additions. They signed, um, I think it was just Brandon Montour and
0:19
Stevenson at the NHL level, but you add Brandon Montour to a defense
0:23
group that already has Vince Dunn, Adam Larson, like this is a
0:27
really quality defense group now. And they're all kinds of players that are underrated and Montour
0:33
outside of his 72 point season last year has been underrated. And he was this year, arguably, he didn't put up as many points, but people
0:40
just didn't appreciate how good he was for the Florida Panthers. And now Seattle is getting a Stanley cup champion
0:46
So I think that they made those two moves and it made
0:50
them significantly better. I think that those two moves are more impactful to the Kraken than
0:54
any other moves to any other team. I agree. And especially after a season that, you know, they, they made the playoffs
1:01
in there before, and then they kind of fell out and now they've kind of
1:05
thinking, well, we are, we want to go back there and yeah, adding those two
1:09
guys, that's actually some pretty big signings and that solidifies, I mean
1:14
like you mentioned Chandler Stevenson already, he is a very underrated center
1:19
And we talked about him being, you know, the second line center on the Vegas golden Knights
1:24
He was actually their top line center before Jack Eichel came and, and
1:28
he was pretty good in that role. I mean, going into and playing, like you said, with Bunears and he's
1:34
a very good versatile center. And he's going to fit in really well in Seattle for sure
1:40
And then Montour, we saw what he's been doing in Florida and, and adds to a
1:45
pretty good defense group that they have already you know, with Vince
1:49
Dunn and Adam Larson, that that's a pretty good group now. We'll see how he kind of, I think he kind of maybe replaces what Carson
1:57
Susi brought before he, he left and that maybe a bit more offense, not maybe
2:02
definitely a bit more, more offense. I, and that's, yeah, I'd say Seattle's a pretty good, pretty good
2:08
pick for a winner right now too
