And another one is Zach Hyman versus Sam Reinhardt
0:04
These two guys are, I mean, they're power play guys. They score a lot on the power play, score a lot around the net
0:10
I Jacob, I'll start with you with Hyman. I mean, again, another story he's been scoring like
0:16
just seems like he just elevates his game in the playoffs. He always gets into double digits with goals
0:21
And has he leads the playoffs in goals right now? Talk about Hyman, how he's going to go against
0:28
I mean, I don't know if he's going to play against Reinhardt, but it's just these two guys seem to be very similar at going against
0:34
How is Hyman going to go against the Panthers? Well, Hyman is one strong series away from breaking the record
0:40
for goals in a playoffs, which is insane. Like I think he's six away from tying at seven away from taking the lead
0:47
which is insane to think about. And yes, it helps that the Oilers have played a few extra games
0:54
and like the the Gretzky era Oilers, because they were sweeping most of their series
0:59
But Hyman has done some incredible things. And one thing to notice is that he opens up his series really strong
1:07
So he's scored, I believe, four goals in game ones this year
1:11
He had a goal in each of them and then two against the Canucks. So he's done and I believe that's correct
1:18
He's done really well just to open up the series and kind of set the tone
1:22
And I think that that's where he kind of thrives, is catching people while they're sleeping and getting used to the new system
1:27
And again, with the with the Panthers, they're not used to playing the Oilers. You heard Matthew Kachuk say that he doesn't know how to play
1:33
against Stuart Skinner. He's only played against him a couple of times. And even even Kachuk has spent time in Calgary
1:38
So like you just don't know how these guys play. You're not used to playing against them
1:43
So Hyman's really good at kind of fitting in and figuring out
1:47
how he's going to thrive before the other team figures out how to shut him down
1:53
Yeah, and that's he's been very consistent throughout the playoffs, too. And I mean, he had a bit of a lull there against the Canucks a bit, but I mostly
2:02
he's been scoring pretty much at will. So here's another guy they're going to have to try to shut down to Joey
2:09
Sam Reinhardt has hasn't been as dominant as he was in the regular season
2:13
but he still scored some goals. He's still a guy you're going to have to watch
2:18
What do you think about how Reinhardt's going to be in this series? I think he's going to step up just as well as Hyman has
2:25
He was kind of struggling a little bit in the Boston series, only a couple of goals through six games, but in the series against the Rangers
2:31
he really started coming into his own. You know, two goals, two goals in game three
2:37
and then the game winning goal in game four. He's he understands the task at hand
2:44
And he's like I said, over the past few years, he's really come into his own
2:47
He's been a top player for the team. He knows what's at stake
2:51
I think he's going to try to go on to this and be as dominant as he can. He has, like I said, he's been a little bit quiet, all things there
2:57
but eight goals compared to 26 is it's a wide margin. But Reinhardt knows what's at stake and he's been a playoff performer for a while
3:07
So I think he can go into the series with the same integrity
3:12
as he had in the series before
