This is The Warning
0:02
This morning, I'm going to survey the landscape, and let's talk about the actions that are required to combat the extremism
0:11
and the conspiracy theorists' assault against the American Republic. First, let's understand what propaganda is
0:20
Let's look at it. Let's yze the babble of the newest Kennedy Center board member
0:26
the former money honey grown old and wretched Maria Bartiromo. President Trump is looking from
0:33
30,000 feet above. He expects a disruption. He said that the other day, sure, we'll have a
0:39
disruption, but we're OK with that. And I asked him that in the interview as well
0:44
What other disruptions might he expect? I think it's largely companies and investors getting used
0:50
to a new day, a new sheriff in town. And that includes ensuring that America comes first
0:56
But President Trump's pushback on that is just what you heard, that he is luring huge investments into America and the rest of his agenda is deflationary
1:07
Remember, you can't just look at tariffs in a vacuum. He's also hoping to extend the tax cut, so cutting taxes
1:13
He's also tapping into the energy capacity in America that he's expecting to produce growth
1:18
And he's also getting wealth back to America. Elon Musk is under pressure
1:24
Now, the television show that you're being force-fed shows that Donald Trump is on top of the world
1:32
He is depicted as all-powerful. There he sits behind the Resolute desk in the Oval Office, surrounded by scumbags
1:40
signing executive orders that sometimes don't really have any meaning at all
1:46
As Winston Churchill once put it, Donald Trump talks with a bit of sense, but mostly it's all nonsense
1:54
Though this must be said, Elon Musk is a treacherous man. He is a sinister man
2:02
And in this moment, the world's richest man is simply going for it
2:07
He is a United States Department of Defense contractor. And now he is Donald Trump's prime minister
2:15
At the same time, he is a partner of the Chinese Communist Party and state
2:20
Do you see the problem? His Doge obscenity is a big nothing, except for the chaos it is sowing, as he stomps on government workers, civil servants, ordinary people all over the country who he is treating as insects
2:39
And with it, of course, is the overwhelming indifference of the elected leadership of the Democratic Party
2:46
Now, one way we can tell Elon Musk isn't the king of the world and that Donald Trump isn't in as much control as his television theater suggests is that out in the country, outrage is growing
3:01
A rising is brewing. Yes, Elon Musk sees this. He feels it
3:08
He knows it. Tesla is under siege and Elon Musk is getting wobbly
3:14
You're giving up your other stuff? I mean, how are you running your other businesses
3:20
With great difficulty. Yeah, I mean. But there's no turning back, you're saying
3:34
Donald Trump has jumped into the fray. He will buy a Tesla to show support for Elon
3:41
Let's look at the company stock charts. pictures of the protests all over the country. There has been vandalism. The American people
3:50
understand the man who was assaulting our inheritance, the man who was assaulting our
3:58
birthright. Elon Musk was an immigrant to the United States who swore an oath when he became
4:05
a citizen to the Constitution of the United States that he now defiles. And so it is up to each and
4:14
all of us to strike back in the name of our liberty and to increase the pressure that Elon
4:21
Musk is facing. Tesla dealerships all over the country, everywhere at once, must be blockaded
4:30
they must be picketed. The charging stations everywhere, as many, all at once, must be
4:37
picketed. Peaceful protest is the key. Put these companies under pressure. The Meta campus must
4:44
be blockaded and picketed The SpaceX campus must be blockaded and picketed The Amazon campus must be blockaded and picketed And this summer when Jeff Bezos and the Lady Sanchez set sail on their one
5:01
a billion dollar super yacht while at home, the Washington Post's journalistic reputation is
5:08
burned to the ground. They must be made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable because they are fuel
5:15
in the engine of an American aggression against Canada, against Great Britain, against France
5:22
against Germany. All of these people are exploring the creation of something new that makes them
5:30
kings and lords and all of us serfs. But they know we won't stand for it. And so Elon Musk
5:39
when he gets angry, when he gets rattled. He can't contain his impulses. So he lashes out
5:46
at U.S. Navy Captain Mark Kelly, NASA astronaut Mark Kelly, husband of Gabby Giffords Mark Kelly
5:55
a man indisputably with the right stuff and calls him a traitor. Now, here's what Captain Kelly
6:02
excuse me senator kelly had to say in response when i was 22 years old before getting sworn into
6:09
the navy or as i was getting sworn in to the united states navy i swore an oath to our constitution
6:15
to protect and defend the constitution i have lived that oath my entire life i flew in combat
6:22
in the first gulf war i served in the united states navy for 25 years i spent 15 years at
6:28
NASA risking my life flying the space shuttle. And the only oath I can think of that maybe Elon
6:35
has sworn is an oath to his own checking account, to his pocketbook, an oath maybe to
6:41
ruining the lives of veterans. There is no country that fought back
6:47
that resisted more powerfully and strongly than Poland in the Second World War. Warsaw
6:53
the beautiful capital, the Wishtola River, was annihilated. It was destroyed. After the Nazi
7:00
aggression, Poland suffered for 45 years under the jackboot. And that jackboot began to lift
7:08
when it was pushed up off the neck of Poland's throat by acts of defiance and courage by men like
7:17
Lech Walesa, who sees Trump clearly and denounces him loudly. But in 1981, a movie star handsome
7:26
59-year-old named Karol Wotila was made Pope. And when he came to Poland, a million people
7:34
gathered in the square. And the words he spoke crumbled the Berlin Wall, cracked it in half
7:41
It would fall within the decade. The message was simple. Do not be afraid
7:46
And the people rose up. Donald Trump has made people afraid in America, but not everybody
7:52
And people will rise up against a tyranny at hand. Elon Musk is a megalomania, out of control
8:01
And so this weekend, Marco Rubio and Elon committed more thuggery against a democratic
8:08
nation and or allies when they assaulted on Musk's steward, Radislav Sikorsky, the foreign minister
8:16
of Poland. Elon Musk demanded obeisance. He wants to be genuflected too. He says that because of
8:26
Starlink, Ukraine hasn't been completely consumed. He says, well, the only thing that matters in the
8:33
world really is Elon and what he does. He sees nothing beyond it, certainly not the courage of
8:39
the Ukrainian soldier. And then Elon Musk forevermore reveals something. He calls the Polish
8:47
foreign minister, Radislas Sikorsky, little man. And that is what MAGA and Elon and Donald Trump
8:56
Think about all of you. You are insects, imbeciles, cogs in a vast empire. Your lives mean nothing
9:06
not to the tech lords who imagine a new tomorrow, the dawn of a new beginning. No longer will
9:14
America's purpose be the pursuit of happiness. No longer shall we have a republic, a government
9:20
of the people, by the people, for the people, we will have efficiency
9:25
We will have artificial intelligence. We will have an omnipresent and officious state with us through every moment of life
9:35
from cradle to grave in our computers in our phones in our medical records in our everything The people who run the world will be small in number
9:48
and they shall be kings richer than any that have ever been
9:53
And they will tell each other that it was a meritocracy, that they were gods lifted to the heavens upon the wings of their genius
10:02
like Marc Andreessen, who can't say he was a lucky nerd. at the right place at the right time and is no king of anything, but rather a fascistic menace
10:15
an intellectual lightweight when it comes to an understanding of American history and policy
10:22
a fickle feather blowing in the wind. Elon Musk represents a philosophy of humanity that is a
10:31
refutation to the soft and gooey tech utopianism that flourished in the garage of Hewlett Packard
10:40
and in the mind of the gentle Steve Wozniak. Google said, do no evil. But what was at first
10:48
viewed by all of us as a marvel, and then an immense convenience and advancement, turned dark
10:56
and got darker. And it preyed on our children and wrecked a generation's mental health
11:04
and their pursuit of happiness. And now these companies, controlled by a few men
11:09
control the flow of information in the world, establishing electronic fences, regulated by algorithms that contain the exposure of thought and imprison millions
11:23
in a myopia of dogma. Elon Musk, three hours after Donald Trump was inaugurated
11:32
must have been thinking of his Nazi grandparents when he delivered the Hitler salute three times
11:38
A monstrous invitation, a summoning of the furies of the world to join in a rising of hate
11:47
that will engulf us all unless we put it out as soon as possible
11:54
And so there are two giant pension funds in America. In California, the public employee funds of CalPERS and CalSTRS and their investment boards
12:07
these giant pension boards must divest from Tesla immediately. The American people must act to put this company under pressure and drive its stock into the
12:21
ditch. This is the right thing to do. This is the American thing to do. The fight that is being
12:28
waged against the republic is being fought on a battlefield in Washington, D.C. Commanding
12:35
general of that front, Donald Trump, has sieged the institutions that are his counterbalance
12:43
and counterweight. He has intimidated a town of soft people, making them supine in the face
12:51
of his onslaught. But this should not be the battlefield. The battlefield is the places where
12:58
Trump is not, where his theater of the absurd cannot play out, but real people can rise up
13:06
These giant companies all have bricks and mortar physical infrastructure. Boycott it
13:11
Picket it. Strike it. In every town in America, there are people organizing. Find your way to them
13:20
Use social media. Get on Facebook. Use the instruments of control against those who seek
13:27
to control you. Use them to organize. Use them to inspire. Do not let anyone tell you that there is
13:37
such thing as illegal speech in the United States when it comes to the assertion of your belief
13:43
of your conscience. The ground the political opposition in this country stands on is the rock
13:52
Freedom of speech and conscience. Freedom of faith and religion. Freedom from fear and terror
13:59
freedom from want and suffering here at home and everywhere in the world. That is the opposition
14:09
creed that is oppositional to the Musk dogma that holds, because I am rich, I am a genius
14:18
Because I am rich and powerful, I can crush you to dust, because might makes right in our new
14:27
brutalist age This immorality is an obscenity Do not stand for it Do not tolerate it You may think that you have no agency but you are wrong And together there is no force in all of world history that is more powerful than the righteous might of the American people in a good cause to make good trouble
14:54
These long days where our nation is divided by vandals and desecrated by arsonists will pass
15:06
Let me tell you a story that my friend Bishop William Barber shared with me last Friday that left me in awe
15:15
In 1857, after the Dred Scott decision, Frederick Douglass was deeply depressed
15:23
And Harriet Tubman came up to him and she said three words to Frederick Douglass
15:29
She did not ask him about his depression. She looked him in the eye and she asked, is God dead
15:37
And Frederick Douglass realized in an instant, this devout and faithful man, a genius born into slavery, a voice of moral conscience in America by 1857, that he had been guilty of a type of idolatry
15:57
He had put his faith in institutions and men and had allowed their decision to cause him despair because he could not see past the weight of the decision as part of a broader plan driven by a force more powerful than the men who wrote such an unjust opinion
16:23
opinion. And so Frederick Douglass did not have X. He did not have YouTube. But Frederick Douglass
16:29
had a podium and an audience. And so he went out to speak as the Democratic Party must now go out
16:36
into the whole of the country and speak at this urgent hour into every congressional district
16:42
even the most red ones, and hold town halls and congregate with the American people and end their
16:50
estrangement with them. But Frederick Douglass took to his podium, and for the first half of the
16:57
speech, as Reverend Barber told it, Frederick Douglass angrily denounces this most wretched
17:05
and unjust Supreme Court decision that stands in ignominy for all time in our history. And then
17:14
He turns and he says, but we must consider the possibility that this decision was a necessitous link in the chain of events that will soon lead to the ultimate downfall of the whole evil institution of slavery
17:34
Think about that. At the moment when slavery and its evil had been sanctified, when the abolitionists had been set back, when evil had been embraced by the Supreme Court, a man born a slave, an intellectual giant, a man whose life purpose was the salvation of freedom
17:57
could see the wisdom to understand that just perhaps a great chain of events had been set
18:05
in motion that would bring about an age of new possibility. Yes, this is this moment at hand
18:13
I know how this will end, and you must know how it will end. It will end in the victory
18:19
of freedom over this menace, liberty over this techno-fascism, this stripping away of human
18:28
dignity, this notion that the most powerful get to treat all of us like insects, it will be washed
18:36
away. But we must have the wisdom to imagine the city upon the hill that we will build. And that
18:45
is the work of opposition. Until then, rise up and boycott and blockade and bring the fight
18:54
to the people who started the fight. We will not lose this fight because we cannot lose it
